Gretchen if I were you I would ask your property manager if it’s possible to sand the doors down. It shouldn’t change the door too much, and it will save your bathroom floor from water damage from the shower

Yay for a built in water filter! I think the bookshelf would look great on the wall with the window unless it blocks a window that opens. It sucks that the doors are to low to the ground. You should put the same amount of water as rice; if it is white rice not sure for brown rice. White rice rinse the rice until the water is mostly clear and it will cook better. Do not put minute rice in the rice cooker because it will just burn. You both unpack fast.

What I've learned from moving 8 times in 5 years, always let the movers do all the work! I used to try and cut down there time by taking stuff on my own but it's always easiest and quickest to let them take everything.

I had the same issue with my bathroom door, and I was able to find a super thin bath mat at Bed Bath and Beyond

You should make the bookshelf be in the corner of the door wall and the window wall!! That way it takes up the space but isn’t in the way!! And I love your dresser where it is I think that’s the best place for it :)) love you !!

You should put the bookcase on an angle in the corner so it faces out into the room, instead of being flat on either wall - if that makes sense! It will open up the room! :)

you also may not need those drawers in your room given the large closet space! if you want to add a second night stand, it may make the room feel or look cluttered.

When putting in the doors they should have left enough room for mats and rugs it’s just common sense when building!

I bet you could get them to remove the doors. Since you have bathroom door you could shut the door to your bathroom and or your bedroom and not have doors on the bathroom and closet
