As a pre teen kid i always loved the pt cruiser. Cooler than a hatchback and looked like a restomod 1940s truck. As an adult now id love to purchase a pt cruiser gt 5 speed

@@franzferninhand7797 190K miles is a lot for any car, I don't see much to complain about.

If you can find a GT Cruiser with A manual I say go for it. Don't listen to the haters it's like any other car maintain it and it's a decent car. The motor is pretty stout and responds well to upgrades.

I’ve got a 2002 limited and it still runs strong. Only major thing was a transmission replacement at at 100,000. I recommend also to do the timing belt and water pump at those miles as well. If the timing belt breaks then kiss that engine good bye. I have 119,000 on it now and everything else is original.

Never understood the hate for these things - they were super practical. We moved our daughter in and out of college dorms with my ex wife's PT (non turbo) and it was pretty handy.

These things keep up with and smoke v8's with very little money in upgrades.

@@Highlander1432 Sadly, no. Just a regular 2.0 LX sedan. The dealers were demanding too much of a sucker sticker.

@@isaakwelch3451just gotta keep up with transmission fluid changes. My automatic is at 85,000. I've changed the fluid twice since I got it at 63,000. Shifts super smooth and I do a lot of city driving.
