I have a Motorguide Xi5 electric trolling motor on my Chaparral. The motor came with a 2 blade standard prop. I saw advertising for the new Motorguide Katana 2 blade prop and decided to try it. The Katana propeller is claimed to have better speed and battery life. This video shows direct comparison speed data for the two props run back to back on my boat with GPS data. It is really a great improvement and well worth the price. I'll try it out for battery life soon, but the speed gain is impressive.
