    that's a legit setup if you plan on camping at powered campsites like that it definitely cuts down on toting 0'F sleeping bags and multiple layers of clothes. Also I have a greater appreciation for your crf300L, I just purchased a combination deal of a 2022 crf450rl and crf300l rally that was a steal and the crf300l is fun but man i don't see how people get the front wheel up. My T7 is effortless. I've been working on them so i'll get more seat time here soon they were wrecked a few times by the previous owner lol

    There's hammock brands that offer enough insulation to deal with -20°F or worse, without a power source. Laying on a pad or foam smashes it down and eliminates insulation. Laying on an air mat is basically cold air circulation right up against your body. Laying directly on the hammock material is advisable, and a quality under-quilt beneath the tensioned material is how to maintain insulation. All the rest applies (mummy sack, clothes, all the rest). Check out Adventures with the Marine for more detail, and his frozen butt hang.

    When I got my haven tent, I went out Christmas night to camp in vermont and only had the non insulated pad and normal cold temp bags and had no issue. The haven tents are pretty good at retaining heat somehow

    Last storm we had tornado warnings weird on the coast of Cali 🤣 and bad flooding..time before went camping my car said 31 2nd night I moved to my car memory foam pillows freeze 😂 and I have a summer tent atewar a better sleeping bag though...that hammock looks better than a tent and blow up mattress

    Jake I’m still riding almost everyday here in Michigan. I have gotten some very funny looks while riding during snow storms. 😂 sport bikes are fun in the snow. I want to go camping but I can’t get thru the snow in the two tracks that get back to camping locations. I really need to get a dual sport again. Haha 😂 Thanks for the video. I would argue the heated mid-layer clothes is a better option than a heated blanket since you can use it while riding and while sleeping. Versatility reduces amount of gear you need to carry. ✌️

    I had the exact opposite experience with haven hammocks. Quality control was awful, the sleeping pad leaked from the fill port, the bug net had glue on it, some of the hammock wasn’t sown or finished sown in multiple areas and after about 3 weeks of use the poles ripped through the sides amongst other smaller issues. Gotta give some credit to haven though for replacing all the issues. .. eventually. All that aside the pad never worked for me; I would painfully sink into the center like a hotdog in a bun no matter what I tried and trust me I tried.. Also, I am within the weight range of this novelty product. Just sharing my experience your mileage may vary.

    Bit over kill. A heated suit that's battery powered will last most of the night. Especially if you get multiple battery packs that are pre charged so you can switch them out.

    That inverter won't work with a heating blanket, has to be 1200 wats continuously, I have a 1200 wat inverter in my van, and it won't run a heated blanket.

  • @Tony-zp8xn

    @Tony-zp8xn

    You wouldn't need the inverter. You would only need the extension cord. He said in the video that the heated jacket and pants wouldn't work with just an extension cord because it needed to be converted to dc.
