GSXR 1000 Rebuild Series, This thing SUCKS

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

My gsxr brah's GSXR 1000 has had a tough life. It's been absolutely beat on and put away wet. But I'm gonna try to fix it up. I've got some new parts, some upgraded parts, some mods and general maintenance things to do this bike. Let's fix this GSXR 1000 back up so Mr brah and go exploring drain tunnels with me again.

Hi Jake...thanks a lot for rebuilding Gixxer Brah's bike...I'd just always assumed that he was having it regularly tuned & maintained @ his buddy's shop--since he lives close by to it, & he seems to drop it off there a lot...actually, I am completely shocked at its state of complete disrepair--especially considering how hard he pushes it on so many of his rides (at least the ones he posts on KZread)...I know you'll do great job on it!

Reminds me of one of the last Buells I picked up. Rear motor mounts was cracked in half in two places (how?!), rear shock was cut on purpose by the owner to lower it but never put back together right so it just fell apart when the tension was released. All the electrical was just twisted together and taped. Forks were leaking and caps mangled for some reason. Exhaust can was missing its mounting bolts (huge no, no on Buells as you'll almost instantly crack the headers) plus a lot more. Some people shouldn't work on bikes. Worst thing was I asked the guy if it was ok to ride home 2 hours before I showed up and he was like "Ya! Its great" Glad I ended up bringing the truck instead.
