One of the most hillarious things for me about that segment and how it played out is that the ghost hated Andrew so much for no reason at all, all the while Andrew just so happened to be playing as the only black guy in the group, meaning that the reason why ghost hated Andrew so much is probably simply because he was a fucking racist.

I'm level 1000+ The Crucifix is used to prevent a hunt, not stop an active hunt. The ghost only showed itself. You didn't prevent anything. That's why it did not clear. You just set a crucifix in the middle of his active area, and if he wanted to start a hunt, but were around a crucifix. It'd cancel the hunt and the objective would complete. A crucifix has 2 uses, and will disappear once it has been used up. There is no indicator that a hunt has been prevented. I'd throw 2 of them in his general area to help prevent it and get the objective. It is normally used in Professional to give us a little longer to talk to him before he comes at us with a hammer. ALSO You can hide from the ghost. You need to go into a closet, room, and shut the door. The ghost can only kill you if he sees you. They don't normally go through doors. They can also hear you if you scream C:

You also are more likely to be the target of a hunt as your sanity drops, and below a certain threshold you are essentially dead if the ghost goes into a hunt- *unless* the ghost is one that targets a specific player first before moving in or someone else is the same level or lower and the ghost goes for them instead.

Crucifixes don't stop a hunt, they prevent it from happening in a 3 meter radius of the crucifix. So if you put it in a room and the ghost decides that it wants to start a hunt it won't be able to because of the crucifix. If the hunt already started the crucifix will do nothing. Also the crucifix does nothing if it's in your hand, it has to be on the floor. To get the quest done all you have to do is put a crucifix or two in the room (or if it's a small room like a bathroom you can put one in the room and one outside to prevent it from getting you while you leave) and throw your person with the lowest sanity in the room with some sanity pills and someone in the truck can tell them when the quest is complete so they can pop the pills and make their escape. Hope this helps

Pro Tip: If you constantly say the ghost’s name it won’t be as responsive. Ask a question, then follow it with the ghosts name. Then only say the ghosts name every 3-4 questions. I’ve finished all objectives, and beaten levels in a little over 5 minutes this way.
