Everyone says that Morocco is a budget-friendly country for travelers, but have you ever wondered how affordable it actually is?
Tetouan is a hidden gem nestled away in the northern part of Morocco.
I recorded the prices of the items that I bought in a day in this beautiful city, so I’m going to share how much everything cost me in Morocco.

When buying souvenirs in Morocco, say "Bezzaf" whenever you hear the price (That's a lot) , then offer half of the price only and keep negotiating until you meet up with the seller halfway. That is the real price! Remember this tip in all tourist destinations lol😄

I'm a Moroccan, and It's funny to me how foreigners who think in terms of Western countries as "cheap" and apply it to other countries, "cheap" for you not for us, if you do a real comparison it's actually pricey, especially now.

You are in the wrong before you come to a place, you must get to know him well from KZread, and if someone follows you, you must threaten him to inform the police, and do not talk to him for a long time. The Moroccan police will not have mercy on him because he is annoying and a fraud.

Moroccan vendors sometimes sell their products to needy people with no gain or very little. They try to make some profits with foreigners who have more purchasing power.

Great 🙂👍 Morocco is safe just make your back bag on your chest in the crowded souks. Second thing barging, haggling is the national sport in Morocco so try to negotiate every price in the old souks without shame. Also you can see some beggars, 70 % of them are pro they can earn more than a bank manager. but if you are tired and you look for some chillout go to the city of the wind Essaouira city or Assillah city, or warzazet city. For Information the norrd of Morocco is a little cold in janury. In general Morocco is good for travel, rich of culture and safe. Life is not easier like in europe but he do the best of he can. Good travel enjoy every moment ... ,

I also wonder what we call the long, woolly overcoat with a hood the Moroccan men wore in your video. I don’t see it in other African countries. It must be the native dress of Moroccan people.
