Morning sickness? Try this!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! 🎉💕
While the early weeks may bring excitement, it can also bring morning sickness (or ALL DAY sickness!). I've got you covered with a yummy smoothie recipe that can help ease those symptoms. 🌿🤢😖
Every ingredient is strategic to help relieve nausea:
🌴 3/4 c. coconut water 💦 Coconut water has the five electrolytes that your body needs: potassium, sodium, magnesium, phosphorous, and calcium
🍚 1/2 c. cooked oatmeal (preferably cooled, which makes it high in resistant starch). Oats help neutralize acidity in the body.
🍌 1 banana (frozen for a refreshing twist). Bananas are packed with potassium and also contain a balanced mixture of fructose and glucose, which will help restore glycogen levels.
🥜 1-2 TB almond butter. Almonds are high in Vitamin E and fats that support the liver. They also have protein, which can help balance blood sugar and promote satiety.
🍯 1 TB raw honey (optional). Honey has antibacterial properties and is full of enzymes.
🍃 1 inch peeled ginger root or 1/2 tsp. ginger powder. Ginger aids in digestion and calms the stomach.
🧂 Dash of sea salt. Sea salt is high in minerals, particularly sodium, which helps calm the nerves and reduce adrenaline levels.

    Take enough magnesium and potassium and you'll probably be just fine. If not, get help.

    That's a really ignorant and hurtful statement. Many of us tried absolutely everything in desperation to even function. No, sometimes supplements are not the answer and people will not just simply be "fine" lol.
