Hey Jessie, got any sources for this video? I was wondering because in the first minute and a half, that you said about a half dozen claims with no factual backup behind them. Where are the sources for this video, I would love to help clear up any confusion that you may have.You made all of these claims, but I have no idea where they are coming from.

I have been a member for 2yrs and have found so many things wrong with the church that doesn't add up with the Bible. This yr I am getting back with my Christian ways and moving away from the Mormon beliefs

When i was in a dark place, 2 missionaries knocked on my door they were the sweetest girls from america, i met with them several times, they wanted me to be baptised!!! I started to read the book of mormon.. but had never read old or new testament. So i started to read them first.... at this time id only jus accepted that there was a god!!!!!!! Something about the book of mormon jus didnt feel right even then... so i googled and found out most this stuff that was in the video. Jesus is the way.. no sequels.

Packer's kids, was a winner in the Miss Provo and Miss Utah Pageants, ran for Miss USA, was Belle of the Y Princess, and did her PhD and taught at BYU. She knows all there is to know about Mormonosm, and she says this video is 100% TRUE and accurate! And my friend would LOVE to go on this podcast and help support Jesse---because Jesse is telling the Truth!

OMG!!! Same here same here!! The boys were so sweet and their talk was so smart that I felt we were the same category of christians but still something was off I felt like there were so much hidden things

People sadly get drawn in by the awesome fellowship that they experience and it is no wonder that “feelings” are so strong to join. But start asking the wrong questions and not accepting the bogus answers and see how long that fellowship lasts. Sinners don’t get to be accepted in the LDS church while Christians understand that church is specially for the sinners, all of us.

Bro I was literally taught about Polgamy when I was 14-15 in Institute and was curious to know more and context and ask and was given source material from religious teachers, and became informed about anything I wanted to learn and was given historical references and learned alot and prayed about it and understood some of the possible purposes. But I was never denied answers rather given references and encouraged to pray and study.

am a recent convert...and within 4 months in already a 'jacked' Mormon. Why? They're as bad as the catholic church when it comes to hiding child predators. One ex-bishop has a pizza place, ONLY hires young teenage girls. His wife hired me. He was angry. I SAW him being inappropriate with teen girls. I went to the bishop and was immediately gas-lit. Likes it NOT effing 2023. Then i was fired. These schmucks are PATHETIC!

When I used to live in California, I went to a ward where people were kind, sociable and friendly to me. But one day, when I was at a grocery store, I went to a check out line behind a lady who goes to the ward and is usually kind to me at church. I called out her name with a greeting, no reaction from her. I tapped her on the shoulders with a greeting along with her name, no reaction from her. Then when I saw her at church the following Sunday, she greeted me with a smile. I decided to look at her as if I didn't know her, and didn't react to her.

From the frying pan into the fire. If you really have a personal relationship with Jesus, you don't need a middle man. You are trying, but you are not free to worship as you were intended to until you can do it one on one, without someone in between telling you how you should be doing it. You know in your heart how to do it without interference or instruction Feel God in your heart and welcome Him all on your own. That is a relationship.

I am currently working for a mormon family…They have been tryng their best to drag me to their church…At first they asked the missionaries to come share the gospel with me…When they did i was so drawn to what they were saying and believed them…They have a way of manipulating and getting into your heard…The second time they came they had their bible with them and a copy for me…From the moment they left i had a lot of questions and doubts about their teachings because they were contradicting with what i have learnt from the bible and so i went on a 3 day fast…That is when the Holy Spirit spoke to me..I thank God i ddnt give in to temptation because their approach will make you believe in whatever they teaching…Very sweet,kind people you wouldn’t second guess them…I asked them to stop calling me and they must not bother coming to give me lessons..Its been weeks now and they are still texting me and tryng to manipulate me…Even the family im working for is busy trying to lure me to their gospel each and every day…I know i am in the right path with God and i will hold on to him forever

Hi Jessie, you are very informative. I grew up in a Reorgaized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints family home. ( Not Mormon but shared some main beliefs. ) I Believed our church was the only way to salvation and that every one else is going to hell and that the Catholic church was the church of the devil. I was a non active member for years because I kept silent. To make a long story short, at the age of 40 I came out of my bubble when I started asking questions and was not happy with the answers I received. I explored other Faiths. It says in the Bible that God wants us to question everything because in doing so we will find the truth. Wow has my journey of faith changed since coming out of the bubble. I have so many stories of how God has blessed me and those I love. All I need is my Bible. God's salivation is for everyone, not just a chosen few. There is good and bad in all religion........but I also believe more than anything what my Grandfather told me. He said salvation is not how many times you go to church......or what church you go to......it's how you live your life, how you treat your next door neighbor, our actions and the kind of person you are in your heart. God loves everyone. There is good and bad in everyone. I would also like to point out that in the Bible it says why satan was kicked out of heaven and who he is/was. My answer should not sound harsh to you as it is difficult to show how I really mean it by writing. I mean it with love. Sorry you´re wrong! You think your way is the same as for example the Christian way. But the way with Jesus Christ is unique. He is the way, the truth, the life and no one cometh to the father but through him. It´s about our sin before God. That made the gap between God and men. (the spiritual and also bodily dead).True repentence is what God wants and always wanted from us. He loves us but will judge correctly. As everybody is somehow guilty he would have to judge all of us. The wages of sin is death. This is also what you might have heared about heaven and hell. I know that in some famos east religions they talk rather of reincarnation and drop hell. But hell is real. So God in his love for us send his only begotten son that he would pay our wages. He suffered and died instead of us. When you truly repend and accept Jesus Christ as your savior and give your live to him in a serious prayer, you will be free of sin (wages of..) immediately and will receive his holy spirit which also means that you will be bornagain. A bornagain Christian. You would notice the difference. Please then (go on ) praying to Got in Jesus Name or to Jesus Christ and read the bible. It´s not about being rich and always of promised good health. It´s not about energies. It´s not about wishes to be fulfilled. Its not about meditating and hearing inner voices (I had my experiences... with "Angels", "Jesus" and others) Find out. It´s really serious. Please find out. There are also many false preachers. It´s not about (trying) to be good. It´s about accepting his salvation. People rarely hear that M-O-R-M-O-N is one letter from M-O-R-O-N. It is believed that Joseph Smith had a hatred of religion and was a con man, so he chose to add the second M. Mormons claim that they believe the Holy Bible, but the Book of Mormon and their other books contradict the Holy Bible many times. When people are talked to about becoming Mormon, many of them ask questions that the young people don't know the answers to, so they research to answer and then find out many wrongs in their religion, then some quit.

Of course they won't tell someone all these things on an initial visit. They usually have about 10 minutes to introduce themselves. I can't imagine a salesman knocking on my door and saying, "Hi, I'm Dave. I wear secret underwear. Would you like to hear what I have to sell you?" This is the same reason we don't teach about mortgages or sex in kindergarten. Or why a university professor teachers things in a certain order. You start with the basics and add to it as the deeper information will be understood. Of course those blasted Mormons won't tell you any of this when they first knock on your door.

they aren't blasted, just highly indoctrinated kids, that if they don't fulfill their mission their WHOLE family doesn't get blessed. It is really a sucky thing but that is what they do. These SHELTERED kids are turned out into a very scary world and told they MUST convert people or their family's STANDING in the celestial kingdom suffers. They get guilted into ALL they do, and it is such a tragedy. The pressure on these KIDS is so enormous. If they bomb or don't complete their mission most of the eligible girls SHUN them as a bad candidate for marriage. They MUST marry, and reproduce to be a TBM, and in good standing with their ward.

I met someone who is a mormon here in Switzerland & she moved here last week from Utah. At first I thought ok I'd be friends with her cause she was new in the city but then she started talking about her religion. As a born again Christian who doesn't know much about their religion I was confused so I'm here researching about it 😅..... but do you guys think it's still okay for me to be friends with her?

The ‘tokens’ are sacred? What if you mention it to them?- I just saw a ceremony that was secretly videoed and they showed the handshakes (tokens)

I have called them many times on some of these subjects, especially about joseph smith. They simply deny them. They just say that my.information is incorrect and theirs is correct?

My husband was born in the Mormon church. He became a Christian about 15 years ago. His mom, who is a very nice lady, but under the Mormon spell, kept sending missionaries to our home. I was the one usually home & would nicely say “ We are happy in our church, he is not home” They started trying to go behind my back to get ahold of him. Thankfully we moved last year & are in a gated community.

Christopher Foote My friend Christopher. It does matter because A) the Book of Mormon contradicts God’s revelation. B) we care for you guys and believe that you deserve better than living a life in a false teaching and doctrine. If you choose to remain Mormon then God will still be the judge. The difference is, if you join orthodox (correct teaching) Christianity then you will discover a relationship with God that you never experienced before.

I found it . in my book Chapter is name of satan. page 48 ....Line 26..Called Mormo... Mean : Mormo (Greek: Μορμώ, Μορμών, Mormō) or Mormon was a female spirit in Greek folklore, whose name was invoked by mothers and nurses to frighten children to keep them from misbehaving.

you guys are silly. no one makes you have any kids .....just like outside of the church. you and your spouse determine how many kids you have. No one else even has a say. Just more lies being spread about Christ's church. Its' OK it was happening 2000 yrs ago and still goes on today.....i guess we are used to it :)

I am a Christian but there are still a lot of things I do not know yet. I’m trying to learn as much as possible.. and I was curious. Does it say anywhere in the Bible if there is a specific place Jesus will return when he comes again? Or will it just be random? Also when he does come, how will people from everywhere in the world know? Will everyone everywhere be able to see it?

Jesus will come to the Mount of Olives and it will split into two, one side going toward the north the other to the south and the Jews will flee from the Gentile armies to the new valley and meet Jesus there, accept him as their king and he will then appear to the entire world and be king of kings.

Read John 14. There Jesus states that he will come back for his church. He will take us to him self... Acts chapter 1. The Angels told the disciples that Jesus is returning. Mathew 24:30-31. Jesus predicts his return as a public event every tribe will see it. There are more places, read the whole new testament .Hope it helps.

I was in the church for 53 years and only became a Christian a little over 3 years ago. I When I questioned the cross they always told me we don’t celebrate it. That’s the only info they would say. I knew there was more behind because I felt deceived.

@tonyawhaley1781 If a family member dies in automobile crash... do you hang a picture on your wall of them dead in the crash? The world has enough pictures of Christ hanging on the cross that no one forgets how he died. And yet there are still many who will say that many many many men also died on the cross.... so Jesus wasn't the only one. The LDS choose to show pictures of How he Lived.

It’s not the same. Have you read the Bible the true Bible not the Mormon version? I suggest you visit different religions and make your decision based on that not what you grew up with. The Bible states there should be no idols except him. Morning idolize Joseph Smith not God. You should study the Bible more.

I bet you don’t have a clue of his last words on the cross. It is finished. I suggest you research his whole life.

Let's see... in Matthew he says that the last words of Jesus are: 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Then Matthew says: 50 ¶ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. My step dad verbally and physically abused me most of my life and he was a cop and follows the Mormon faith and when I went to his bishop to ask for help I was told go back and say I’m sorry and obey him with out question

@@Kyraaa-rb3vc I haven’t ben back to that church or any church not after the life I’ve led not after I became nothing more then a monster to everything I was once told that I am I ended up becoming homeless and lived out in a desert i have bounced from one side of the country to the other never truly having anyone to call friend or family

Mormons are legendary for their "newspeak" . as a jr high kid I was told not to tell people what church I attended, but to invite kids to church. That people would prejudge us without getting to know us...they were right. In high school i went to seminary classes before school, they had us study the KJV in my sophomore year. I kept reading it and by my senior year had many difficult questions and deep misgivings about what they were saying to outsiders vs. what they were teaching me, as i was preparing for missions, we had been to the temple and participated in baptism for the dead, and that KJV kept coming up, you know, John 3:16&17...Eph 2: 8-10...stuff like that...so I started asking questions. The questions were not welcome. And after a period of time, I wasn't either. Fast forward 2 years I join the Marines...on Sunday if you go to church you can escape the watchful eye of the drill instructors for 2 hrs! So I went to the LDS service...within 2 weeks of filling out the visitors card, tha minister in charge met me at the door and explained where all the other denominations met...I was blackballed! Not that I'm hurt, just a fun example of LDS love....the holy spirit got ahold of me a few years later, and I'm saved now. Pray for your LDS frieds, the indoctrination theye been through is powerful...they're convinced if they lose their membership they're eternally cursed...it's sad really, no assurance of salvation. Your telling the truth, keep it up. Titus 3:5-7 "according to his mercy"

YOur experience is completely different from mine Being Raised LDS (church of Jesus Christ of) I was taught to tell everyone what church I attended and to be proud of it. I did and I"m glad. Then my pentecostal friends invited me to their church when I was about 12. I asked my mom what I should do. She said I should go (which I did, those drums were pretty cool even though i sure wasnt used to them but still pretty cool) Then she said invite them to your church which I did. this was over 20 yrs ago and to this day I'm still friends with them. It sounds like your problem is with certain members and how they act but not "the church"

The church wants you to worship a god that was once a man, wants you to make fun of Jesus Christ and say that he is the brother of Lucifer and wants you to believe another gospel. The Bible calls this idolatry, blasphemy and believing another gospel damns you to eternal torment in hell. Gal. 1:8 I had four LDS missionaries in my home and they wanted me to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it and God would automatically tell me it is true. I showed them from the word of God that I do not pray to their heavenly father who was once a man, so I would not get the answer that they would get. I worship the Creator. The true and living God the Father, who loves you and created you, was never once a man. Job 9:32 “In truth I know that this is so; But how can a man be in the right before God? “For He is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, That we may go to court together. I Tim. 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. The true and living God was never once a man. He exists by His own power. He is self-existent. He lives outside of the time, space and matter because He created time, space and matter. He has no mother or father, does not need air, food, water, sex, sleep, shelter, clothing, etc.. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, immutable, infinitely holy, eternal and so much more. The highest heavens cannot contain Him. He created Adam out of the dust of the ground. No wife needed. No pre existence. Why don't you worship your Creator? Jesus Christ never said you had to believe the Book of Mormon was true to get into heaven. Jesus Christ never said you had to believe Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God to get into heaven. Jesus Christ never said there was salvation only in the LDS church.

Actually I was disfellowshipped, the chaplain told I was welcome to attend any other service on the base....he did not say I was not welcome to attend theirs, but I was asked to leave (kinda the same thing)

So many are taken in by their manipulative behavior. They change doctrine like most change underwear. God is not the author of confusion.

Do you think it’s possible that Joseph Smith suffered from hypercapnia? I’ve heard that one may have a near death experience by having too much co2, from rebreathing his own breath with his head stuck in his hat while “translating bofm” Educate me

even though I don’t want to be a member of the church anymore, and I am finding my way, a lot of the things you claim in the video aren’t true/way over exaggerated and misunderstood. There are definitely things about the church that have caused me to leave, but some of this is just not true.

I wasn’t there, but I’ve known probably thirty five missionaries and I cannot stress to you enough that they are just 19 year old boys. They are not religious experts or scholars, they do not have a direct line to God 24/7, and they are not perfect. Please don’t assume that their refusal to answer (or maybe just confusion) is proof against their beliefs.

Am exmormon. Almost all of this is true. I can't say all of it is true because there were things I didn't even know about, but theologically speaking make sense with the church gospel.

I recommend naming the source-where in their literature does it say Jesus was a polygamist ? Or is it just something they believe but nothing is written ? A lot of Mormons don’t even know this stuff

I think you are both missing the point here. Grace and faith are two different things. Grace is decided by Jesus and faith is decided by us and both are required to achieve the maximum outcome in an afterlife... So we come across an argument that I see so many times, but actually both sides of the argument miss the context of the point... Our faith cannot save us nor can our works if Jesus decides not to apply his grace... Grace is a decision based on how Jesus considers our situation.. Now to go with the Mormon point of view, Jesus grew in favour of God as he practiced doing his will, which means that as Jesus said as a warning "by there works you shall know them". If you believe his words you will follow the two parables as Jesus taught.. 1. Not to hide your light 2. To be a good Samaritan. Jesus also talks of what keeps you out of heaven, and it's not Based on false beliefs, false prophets etc, which were rife during Christ time. Rather than do what this post tries to do,bwhich destroys good faith in what are called "true believer Mormons", but is more on the fact in how well you live your life.... Can a Hindu be saved? Or a Muslim be saved? Even if they have no passing mention of Jesus between their ears? Grace applies here as Jesus will say, these lived their lives as good people etc, it won't matter of the false doctrine they were taught. If a Mormon keeps their values as the ancient Essenes did and serve man and woman in their best capacity according to their beliefs, god's grace is more lightly apply to these than professors of faith who like the Pharisees taught good things but their hearts were far away... I think both sides of the argument miss the point and neither understand grace or works...

Calibration Technique you have a very good point, which in retrospect is almost exactly what I believe but couldn’t articulate nearly as well as you, nor did I really try as I should have. Thank you for your perspective!

I’m just saying... if the church considered these things to be “secret”, wouldn’t they do a better job keeping them secret? Like checking for hidden cams or suing for copyright infringements? Just a thought

They work hard on brain washing followers and making the church family their primary focus. My sister just came free from them after realizing they are based on lies, but now she has a sence of loss of family because her church friends wont talk to her now that she isn't drinking the koolaid any more. Cult like if your in your in but if your out your out.

When i was younger and going through trauma i got baptised into a mormon church, however i dont remember being baptised but i went away for a while, like 15 years and learned about freemasons etc, i bumped into the elders again a few months ago and ive told a few of them about a few things you mention in this videobut its the arrogance of them and no chance of changing their minds, as they have pre programmed responses to everything and i didnt even get a chance to explain my case, cause you know they're right haha, ive just told them im not getting involved with them now

I have enjoyed your videos. However, the volume is too soft and low, that people that are hard of hearing, can't hear them well.

Have you ever looked into “King” Joseph Strang of Beaver Island, MI? He was alive at the same time of Smith and Young.

The reason it's painful is because you claim it's not true, but Someone is trying to tell you it is true.

My parents just kept telling me that I should go further into the church if I want to know. Then they say that they wouldn’t keep anything important from me. These secrets must not be very important anyways.

Why do the LDS Church teach that the garden of eden is in Jackson Missouri when the bible says the garden of eden was in the middle east ?

@@jphish8724 In Genesis 2:8-14 tells us that there were 4 rivers ,Pishon,Gihon,Hiddek and the Euphrates river.So it gives us the general area of the garden of eden.Which would be somewhere in morden day Iraq.

@@bus2town I've heard that too, it's a theory by British archaeologist David Rohl, but is not considered academic, nor reliable, and is not widely accepted by serious Bible scholars. FYI, personally I believe the Garden of Eden to be somewhat more metaphorical; I do not ascribe to the LDS, or other traditional interpretations of this and many Bible stories.

LDS. Huge push on FAMILY VALUES. As long as your LDS ( I'm no Mo). And stay married. I got divorced from a Mo and I was instantly excommunicated from the entire family. Which is fine. Seeing her father walk around the house in his Jesus jammies used to make my eyeballs throw up. And watching a bunch of grown adults crying their eyeballs out with their speeches aka "testament" about how much they believe in "the prophets" and Joey Smith (the pedophile) was depressing.

I take it you don't understand about divorces. When you get a divorce the person you are getting a divorce from their family will stop having anything to do with you because they're taking their family member side.I also have a feel they never liked you in the first place because you sound like real dumbass.

I will talk of my experience. I was going through a very difficult time. Really at rock bottom. I had to go to the church to get help. When more than anything I needed spiritual help. It ended up in years of spiritual torture. I never got a chance to get fully into the church because I had been struggling for so long. I’ve been using my bible app and have been praying and now I know that God was protecting me from going any further.

Hi, I have a question about the lds church... I had lessons for months with missionaries (elders) some time ago, and I thought that eternal family is something very nice, but I stopped because the church had polygamy in the past, the missionaries (elders) told me it happened in the past, not any more... I now searched wikipedia about the current prophet/president of the church who is Russell M. Nelson, and I noticed that Russell M. Nelson was married to Dantzel White who is now dead, but Russell M. Nelson is now married to Wendy L. Watson... my question is: Will Russell M. Nelson have as wife Dantzel White or Wendy L. Watson after this life in the celestial kingdom? Or will Russell M. Nelson have both wives Dantzel White and Wendy L. Watson in the celestial kingdom? if Russell M. Nelson will have these 2 wives after death in the celestial kingdom, why did the missionaries (elders) told me that polygamy does not exist anymore?

Mark, get as far away from LDS theology as you can. It is nothing but doctrines of demons. Tune in to people like Doctor David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll or John MacArthur. You'll get some good teaching on what the Bible really says.

on the internet you can download their book "Doctrine and Covenants" I found an 1880 edition I could download for free.

I'm very happy I left the LDS church. Left 3 months ago and have adapted to my new life after religion. I choose to live my life without any religious training now.

Well, I am happy you left the LDS church. I will pray that you seek out the truth of the Bible. Just because the Mormons distorted and corrupted it and twisted it's meanings to promote their cult does not mean that there isn't a true God. He loves you! And He is so real!!

It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection.

Satan is the Master of Deception he confuses everyone in the world to turn him away from following Jesus. Because everyone will reject Christ & the Anti-Christ will appear. There will be a 7 year Tribulation before God destroys the world. I am a Disciple of Jesus & my final destination is Heaven. Ephesians 5:1-2 Jesus often spoke in parables; so I shall tell a parable: 'There was once a man of Christ named Josef who made a middling wage in the world he lived. A religious man in a white robe, blue of eyes, speaks to him and says, "I am a shepherd of Jesus flock, give me your tithe and together we shall build the church of Christ." Another man in white, but brown of eyes, speaks to him and says, "I am a shepherd of Jesus flock, give me your tithe and together we shall build the church of Christ." Another man, disheveled and in rags speaks to him and says, "I am hungry. Can you help me?" Josef thinks to himself for a moment, and wonders to himself, of these three... who is beggar, who is shepherd, and who is charlatan, for I honestly cannot tell the difference. She lies, wake up!

I rented a basement from a Mormon lady for a while. I went to the ward or stake or something a couple of times. A couple of missionaries came out and talked to me and you are right. it seems like we hit it off so well. They wanted to baptize me right away. Oh my goodness. But I got busy and started researching everything on the Internet. When I came across the part where they think that God the father is a human being, that was it for me. I went to her and said”You believe that God is a man? So who created God?” She said to God was created by another God who was in turn created by another God before him, etc., ad infinitum. I told her, “when you find the first God who was not created by any other god, That’s the God I’ll be worshiping!” I mean I guess I’m supposed to be merciful and compassionate, but really what I want to say is “how dumb can you be?”

Exactly my experience less the renting from a Mormon.

I spent most of my life in the church. Off and on again. Was not really active until later in my life. I took out my endowments at the age of 40 . I left at age 55 now 60. My family was always active in the church and they turned their backs on me as well as my wife and a couple of my children. I'm still married but not much longer. We agreed to just not talk about religion. But my wife has never passed up the chance to remind me of the huge mistake. And I just can't go on that way. Our marriage isn't a marriage anymore. Not even friendship remains at this point. Pretty miserable living with someone who you no longer have anything in common with. I'm pretty lonely aside from my relationship with my savior. I need a woman in my life. And because of my age and the fact I haven't dated in over 40 years. Just don't know where to start. Pray for me.

Sir, you need Jesus. Jesus said, "Follow Me." Jesus is the good Shepherd. Jesus will never let you down. John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. Jesus is my substitute (i.e. Isaiah 53:4-6). He is way more than my example. A substitute does it for us. An example shows us how but we must still do it. He personally paid the penalty for all my sin. As a result, of His mercy I want to obey His commandments. Jesus as my righteousness, as our law-keeper (i.e. Romans 5:19, 1 Corinthians 1:3; Isaiah 61:10) The biblical truth is that Jesus kept the law for us I know for sure that I have been completely forgiven (i.e. Hebrews 10:14-17) and am accepted by God (i.e. 1 Peter 2:9). I know God is with me, providing and protecting me (i.e. Romans 8:31-39, Psalm 23). I know for sure that when I die I will live eternally with Heavenly Father (i.e. Philippians 1:23). That's what I used to think. I've never been happier since I've decided a woman isn't what I need. What I needed was to be ok with being alone. It's not only liberating, but I don't worry about trying to make someone else happy. Remember, you at one time thought your current wife was what you needed, how did that work out? No one to waste your time trying to do the impossible of jumping through hoops to make them happy... No one to disappoint=no one who will disappoint you. Think of being alone as a win-win situation.

@@lindalds The Book of Mormon stories as "transcribed" by Joseph Smith are subject to enormous doubt, and that doubt leads to followers having a completely "blind" faith; believers told to "doubt any doubts" and to blindly believe words on a page. I say no to this notion ~ Do NOT doubt your doubts! Be aware of false teachings!! Aside from the BOM reading mostly like fiction, the stories are very similar (copying ?) many concepts from the Bible and seem all too "fantastical". I refuse to believe in any faith that appears to have ~ "fantasy" belief systems, ideas based on man-made ideologies about heaven, the afterlife, about God in the Triune, and about what is considered true prophecy, or what it means to be a true prophet. None of the men in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles are "true" prophets. That includes Russell M. Nelson. They are good men yes, but these are simply just men, not true prophets of God. Also, a true prophet of God is one with whom all of things to come (prophecy) come to fruition. They actually come true. All of them. All these mortal men (executives?) of the Church that were voted into the top ranks inside the Mormon Church were placed (voted) into those Quarum positions, whether called "prophet" or other titles, they were put there by other men, not by God. Men placing other men into positions of power and authority; that, by default, makes those men NOT prophets appointed by God. Remember, no prophet in the Holy Bible wants to be a prophet, or seeks to be a prophet. Men of God, men that walk with the Holy Spirit do NOT seek positions of power, wealth and authority.. as proven throughout the history of prophets interacting with the divine, or the Godhead. Lastly, we are warned so clearly (i.e. the Apostle Paul) in the scriptures to NOT abandon the gospel message of the Bible and to follow new teachings that teach a "new" gospel message. People should no better; esp. in these "latter"-days.

@@louismorgan8596 First, the same doubts you have about the Book of Mormon are the same doubts some have about the Bible. There is no scientific-type evidence that the Bible is inspired scripture. You choose to accept it as such. Others o not. Their reasons for rejecting it are just as valid as your reasons for accepting it. I do not doubt my doubts about the Book of Mormon because I have no doubts. True prophets are shot down every day, and it's not until a few years, or a few generations that people realize that they WERE true prophets. You say a true prophet is called by God, not men, but a man can clim to be a prophet, Hebrews 5 says a man must be called of God as was Aaron. How was Aaron called? By God, through Moses. As for sounding a lot like the Bible, why woulddd that be a pronlem? I would be cncerned if it sounded the oppposite of the Gospel message of the Bible. I don't think any of our General Authoirities wanted to be where they are. For one thing, it's giving up very lucritive careers Pres. Nelson was a well known heart surgeon; Dieter Uchtdorf was the chiefest of chief pilots of Lufthansa Airlines. It is an AWESOME responsibility to lead a church like they do. They do NOT get rich leading thisss church. Their power is given contingent on their humility. And we DO follow the Gospel message of the Bible. just because we don'''''t do it the way you think we should, does not mean we don't do it at all..

FACT: Mormonism is a huge complex business corporation masquerading as a "religion" to be tax exempt (and avoid the SEC by putting their gullible members "tithing" monry into shell companies to hide their wealth). This conglomerate, whose net worth is 100 billion, operates as an insideous CULT--- brainwashing its members psychologically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, socially, and especially sexually.

I left the Mormon church almost two years ago and am now attending a non-denominational Christian church. Having said that, I think it's important to remember that just because a Mormon said something at some point, does not mean that it is what all Mormons believe today. Many of the things that were shared in this video are simply not at all what I was taught in my 42 years of weekly attendance at the Mormon church. I realize there are probably references for all of the "facts" that were shared here, but that does not mean this is what all Mormons believe today. Mormons throughout its young history have said all kinds of things that are not considered to be the doctrine of the church today. I also know many Mormons who hold personal beliefs that do not necessarily reflect what is always said at the pulpit. This makes the whole conversation endlessly complicated. It is my hope that we can all offer one another the same grace that we EACH so desperately need in this life.

I understand fully what you're saying. Yes, I can back up every claim made in the video and I do admit that yes, some of the things are not taught today (but were at some point by a "prophet!") so I can't just dismiss the past stuff and pretend it wasn't taught. Most things stated are current beliefs, though, and are not disclosed unless you search it out and learn it for yourself. So many secrets. So much kept hidden. Even people who join the church usually have NO IDEA what is done in the temples or that the goal is to become a god one day. Most people are unfamiliar with Joseph and Brigham and other's polygamy and contradicting teachings about who God is.... etc!! And this info needs to be made known. I also hear you when you say to extend grace to one another but I simply cannot extend grace to people who are living in ignorance (many willingly) while they are serving an absolutely false god/gods. I need to proclaim the truth! As a Bible-believing Christian who loves Jesus and wants the world to come to know Him as their personal Savior, I have to expose false beliefs and proclaim the truth of the Word of God and I want to share the one and only true God and make Him known.

To be honest, I wasn't looking for a video such as this but the title caught my attention. Reading a lot of these comments, I have to say I agree with you. I had been a Mormon for over 30 yrs & I wasn't taught a lot of the things in this video & I have never heard of families not being able to be with their family members if they were excommunicated from the church. But hey, it seems a lot of church leaders in a lot of different denominations have never even read the Bible. So, the way I look at it is, if you want to be close to God, read the Bible, gain a close relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus and don't sweat the small stuff. We can cant self righteousness till the cows come home and point the finger at any Church and go on a fault finding campaign but that will not make us better people. Just saying... probably good to ask questions and choose your lifestyle with care and thoughtfulness.

i don't want to detract from jessie's comment, but i do have a question for any mormon. how do you know what the true teachings of present day mormonism is? if you can't get it from reading the standard works, or elders quorum lesson manual, or sunday school manual, or the official online mormon website? how do you know for yourself what the true mormon doctrine is, and h ow do you know that jessie is not repeating official modern mormon doctrine? if there is no written documentation for what you believe, aren't you then in danger of leading yourself and others astray with false teachings?

@@longnamenocansayy My take is, if you can't find the info by reading the official works, manuals & etc. then you have to consider the frame of reference. Then too, look at all the changes in the Catholic church. People don't question the changes so it shouldn't be surprising that the Mormon church makes changes. I believe there is such a thing as spiritual growth so maybe... It's why we need to keep studying the Bible. God opens our eyes when we're ready and able to understand.

Julia Dawn Olson Just to throw my two cents in; I come from a very heavily influenced Mormon home and my mother believes every single point made in this video. The bottomline here, in my opinion, is not whether all Mormons believe the LDS church doctrine or have even heard of most of these things. It’s that this church was not founded on biblical principals and biblical account of Christ Jesus. Which makes it a false Christ (Matthew 24:24) and because they think works and baptism and repentance saves they will be cast out (Matthew 7:21-23) Ignorance is not the same as innocence and we should be mindful of what people who speak “Christianese” say. That’s my take

The False Jesus Christ was falsely accused of being a witch, a demon, a drunk and a political radical. The Israelites attacked Him because they believed in a different Jesus. Protestantism is based on the "assumption" that the bible is an accurate portrayal of God's word. This is why Protestant doctrine is devoid of prophecy and is thus incapable of recognizing the prophetic knowledge that leads to the real Christ. Also, all of the Protestant religions are the result of a rift in the Catholic Church, recognized by scholars as the continuation of the original church from Jerusalem. Therefore all Protestants have literally fallen away, living in a state of spiritual apostasy, operating under heretical interpretations and false teachings. The Protestant Jesus is a false Jesus, even as the gods of the pagans were conceptually false anciently. The state of the Protestant sects today is akin to the prevailing spiritual darkness that existed during the time and place of the ancient Israelites, who didn't recognize the real Jesus.

You don’t help heal and cast out demons and do what Jesus did here on earth. Joseph smith was a fraud who used people and making him believe that a rock used to to tell him where this so called “treasure” was 🤦‍♂️ and had multiple wives and believed in polygamy. Mormons used to disguise as settlers and rob settlers for their cattle and properties.

The two things that made the deepest impression on me the first time that I went to the temple in were when I was given my"name" was how the guy stumbled over it. I learned years later that there was nothing special about the name: they have daily male and female names. The biggest shock were the cash registers. I actually stopped and stared at them.

@@breakfastanytime8180 Usually you have to go to Beehive Distribution to get garments, but they might sell one set at the temple if you don't have some, and getting your own endowments. I forget, it's been many years since I got my endowments at the Washington D.C. temple.

April it is never too late to do what you know is right, to follow the truth and to come to know the one true God who loves you, created you in His image and desires a relationship with you. Call upon the name of Jesus to be saved, through repentance for your sin and faith in Christ's death on the cross, knowing that this was done as an atonement for your sins so that you might be saved! You are saved through faith alone, by God's grace. There is power in the resurrection of Jesus.. He is alive! Can I share some verses with you that clearly show Salvation? I love this video!! I was raised in the LDS “religion” and left just about four years ago. I wanted to leave my whole life but it was terrifying. It has been the biggest blessing to leave. Am I in danger for being a new convert? I been inducted July 9th 2022, I mean should I stop going to church or ignore them or keep going in their club? They invited me to baptize my ancestors this Saturday August 20th, I knew a little bit about the history after I joined but keeping quiet, I find the history disturbing and interesting, I had no idea about the devil star on there building, so thank you for this info, I appreciate it, they didn’t mention the special garment underwear to me! i'm an ex mormon and i'd like to respond to your question/comment. i think mormonism is a complete waste of time and money. as a new convert you will be love bombed and they will do everything to make you feel included. once you make it public that you have no interest in their church, they will drop you like a lead balloon. i agree with you about mormon history. it is about the most interesting history i know of. it's also very very controversial. they deny all of it. polygamy is the first shoe to drop. then after that, you find out about the "blood atoners". their favorite method of taking life was to slice the throat and let the blood drain out. joseph smith's 40 wives, and marrying other men's wives, and his constant legal troubles, and indictment in missouri trying to instigate a slave revolt, and massacres by indians, and then later in nauvoo where the most common form of death was poisoning.........it's all denied by the mormon church. it's a cult. it's not christian. just a normal dirty little cult. you'll find out for yourself when you make it public your intentions of quitting. then you'll be wondering, " where did all my friends go?"

I’m not from Utah but I live here now. The amount of times I’ve heard “it’s not secret it’s sacred” is insane. They actually get mad too when I ask questions. I’m not being rude or aggressive I just want to understand, who knows maybe I’m wrong (I’m not). But they can’t answer the questions and it makes them think too much and you can tell it makes them mad.

The fact that they get mad should be a red flag. Jehovah's Witness missionaries will get mad at you in your own house if you question what they are teaching you.

some references for this video would have been nice, for clarity and proof of your statements, going to look at the second part since, I already find non referenced material with proof to the opposite within the first 10 minutes of this video.

I was born n raised in it. I can say 98% is true..( slight variations on a couple things) but over all correct!

low-key sad cos my surname is Mormont I'm not a Mormon or anything but still my surname is pretty close to that corrupt religion's name T-T =(

Nice work, Sister. I might add that it's important to know that upon leaving what the void left is filled with. One cannot leave something without going to something else.. This is the way out. Man is a derivative being. He is not independent but derivative, contingent and dependent upon one of two sources; sources that involve REALITY (truth, life) or ILLUSION (error, death). There are entities behind each. The source of error/illusion/death is involved with chaos, confusion, destruction, hatred, insanity, (all twisted forms, diversions and aversions from reality. "Religion" is included in this diversion.) The ultimate goal is keeping mankind dead, that is without spiritual life. Conversely, TRUTH involves reality which is only found in and derived from another source, an entity in which life resides and the manifestations of life; peace, patience, kindness, love etc. They can be no more opposite. These are Life - (truth, reality) and Death - (error, illusion.) Further consider the personal choice between each. There is a name behind each, the one which is Christ. The other, an evil one, a destroyer, a disrupter who is commonly referred to as Satan. Manifestations of each are witnessed and experienced daily, hourly, minute by minute. The one appeared in order to offer man a gift of grace which is LIFE, His LIFE (eternal LIFE) that can ONLY BE RECEIVED, not earned in any way. Upon acceptance of HIS LIFE, we are lifted out of death, both while we breathe and after, releasing us from the hold of the one whose domain we currently inhabit. He ( and no other) proclaimed "I came that you may have LIFE." Reality is found only in LIFE. Death, and the manifestations of death, is escaped by RECEIVING life, HIS life (the whole point of the resurrection.) HE didn't die. Death could not defeat life. He provides LIFE/REALITY for all of us if we'll RECEIVE it and it's received simply by BELIEVING. BELIEVING in Him, RECEIVES Him. Avoiding death is this easy. This tug of war goes all the way back to when we were given a choice and the choice was made to believe one of the two sourcea; evil/death/illusion/diversion OR remain in life (truth/reality.) Man chose to BELIEVE the illusion (and its source, it's purveyor) and life LEFT. This is commonly referred to as "the fall." This was also the first case of infidelity when life/love was turned away from for another. Still, the love for us was so great that a cross was endured to restore this life. (Resurrection means the restoration of life.) Get your kids, your friends, your neighbors, and simply believe He is offering life over death and receive this (His) saving life now.. This isn't religion....it's authentic Christianity....life versus death.

Here is a tip for anyone taking "Lessons" form a couple Mormons , hand them back the "Book Of Mormon" and ask them for a copy of Doctrine and Covenants by Joseph Smith. If you read that more then likely you will be able to send them on their way....I was given a copy of this while taking the Mormon lessons years ago by my girl friend....at the third lesson I had so many questions for the boys their heads were spinning....by girl friends father sitting in on the lessons was so mad it was the last time I could see his daughter....I was not suppose to know about this book until I joined up with the Mormon CULT.

lol most of the time the D&C are in the same book as the BOM; idk what you’re talking about. Also, I really would like to be nice about this but shame on you for doing that to the missionaries. They are TEENAGE BOYS. If you wanted a serious discussion about perceived inconsistencies you should have sought out a scholar of the BOM, not two kids who had most likely gone through what is essentially a doctrinal crash course before being sent out halfway across the world.

Yes, the Doctrine and Covenants is really interesting. And usually the potential convert doesn't know about it. It does come as a separate book, but the entrenched Mormons usually only have it as a "Combination book" where the Church publishes it as a Trilogy all-in-one book together with The Pearl of Great Price and the Book of Mormon. It's easier to convert people if they have only read the Book of Mormon, since the Doctrine and Covenants has "The Lord" saying some very unbecoming things, such as Setting the Stock Price for shares in Nauvoo House at LITERALLY $50 each, and numerous other ridiculous things. Most of the Doctrine and Covenants is the Lord HIMSELF speaking (supposedly). It's rather bad. It also has God speaking of women as objects.

This is fascinating. I’m curious about your sources about the Mormon doctrine? Where do you find the doctrine that Jesus was marries to 3 wives?

I'm a former Mormon and I really appreciate what you are doing here! Lots of these things not even lifelong Mormons really know. It's insane. The only correction I'd make is that Mormons aren't polytheist but henotheists. Polytheists worship multiple gods while henotheists worship one god but believe in multiple gods.

Regarding Polytheism: what about Heavenly Father, Jesus and the Holy Ghost being three separate gods? Would you say that Mormons don't worship them as separate gods? Did you only worship Heavenly Father as a LDS? What about Jesus?

It's Me Jessie I think this is where it gets tricky for actual Christians in understanding what Mormons believe around Christ. Because true Christians worship Christ but Mormons only really view him as their Messiah or Savior but not their God. The Heavenly Father of *this* Earth is their God and the only one they treat as such. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are instruments of God and aren't "deserving" of the same sort of treatment. Did I worship Jesus as a Mormon? Absolutely not. In fact, it was one of the big issues I started to have as I got older (I was raised Mormon). Mormons will point to "Jesus Christ" being in their name and they truly think that's sufficient. It's not. At all. They don't emphasis Jesus nearly as much as Christian churches do. They respect and revere their version of Christ but he is only a god to them no THE god. The funny thing is for them to push back on the idea that they are polytheist means they have to admit they don't worship Christ. And I know this will be unpopular but I went Catholic after leaving Mormonism. However, I am always so happy to see any former Mormon turn to Jesus and the Trinity. Catholics acknowledge the baptism of Protestants because Protestants are correct in their belief in God. As a former Mormon I had to be baptised into Catholicism because, well, I was never a Christian. I was never baptised in the name of our true Lord.

I want to clarify- like with most thing Mormons use familiar terms that mean something different to them. Many will likely tell you they worship Christ. My argument is that they don't. They don't pray to Christ, for example, only to God in Christ's name. The "worship" of Mormonism looks very different from the worship of those who believe in the Trinity.

@@margaretphillips1137 Yes, I understand the concept of what you said and that was my understanding as well. I think you adding the point that Mormons saying that they're not Polytheistic means they have to deny worship of the Mormon Christ was a major point. My Mormon friends do not agree with what you told me (or should I say, don't *admit* what you told me) about Jesus. They all tell me that he is absolutely a God and equal with Heavenly Father and that they worship him. I never know when my Mormon friends are actually being completely honest with me. Sometimes I believe that they are being honest because maybe they just don't have all the answers and don't fully know how to answer. But then other times I feel like I'm being deceived. When talking about doctrine, I get the answers like, "Yes, we absolutely believe that. The same as you do!" But I know what they're saying is false and that they don't believe that at all. *sigh* It's exhausting. Anyways.. I appreciate your explanation and the time you took to write. And had I left Mormonism and converted to a Christian denomination, I absolutely believe in getting baptized again for real. 🙂 ..Baptized into a Bible-believing faith. And though I disagree with Roman Catholicism, I don't doubt that there are Catholics who are truly born again and who have fully accepted the true Gospel message of the Bible and Biblical Salvation. I do disagree with all works-based religions as well as the mediators placed between God and man, such as priests and the Pope and all. The Gospel message of the New Testament is so clear that Jesus is our mediator with the Father and that we can go directly to Him in prayer and in relationship. And Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us that it's not by our works that we're saved but through our faith in Jesus, by the grace of God and as a free gift from Him.. not of works lest any man should boast. But anyway.. just sharing my beliefs. Glad you commented! Jess, great video. Can you give me a call? I've got a couple of questions I want to run by you. It's about the fact that the upper echelons of the church (the "70" and above) MUST know the truth about Joseph Smith and therefore must be rationalizing, or flatly lying, about this whole religion. New here. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find your channel. I live in Idaho, where we have an even bigger LDS population than Utah does. My husbands family is Mormon but him and his parents no longer are apart of it. He’s a descendant of Joseph Smith and his family members are all big wigs here in Idaho, Utah and CA. I had interest in just learning so came to KZread and Mr. Google lol also his family. I went as far as inviting people into my home just so I can see for myself how they’d answer these questions. Either it was sidelined by another topic or come to church or once as a member I’d know more. Well none of that was gonna happen on my end. I’m glad people are speaking out about how this “religion” really is. I’m reminded of them by all the temples and churches that are on every street with just a few miles to separate each one. Including the little ones across from every school we have here. Just for the Mormon kids to go to everyday and get school credit for. Insanity!!

I joined the lds church in 2005, since I've suffered some of the worst events of my life, I know the truth now, I won't be able to withdraw from them officially because they did enough damage but Jesus is with me, thx for sharing ❤️

@@office801 Yes, you can just stop going, but as long you are on their rolls you will not be free, spiritually or physically. When you join the LDS church you have OBEY what ever the Bishop says and God help you if you don’t. It started out wonderfully warm and fuzzy and turned into my worst nightmare on many levels. Spiritual, physical, financial, health and put me in a situation of nearly being murdered by a psychotic serial killer. I am not exaggerating. The last straw was when I was told that I still owned and was emotionally attached to too many nice things from my past and I must sell them and now live a sparse life including getting rid of my pets and I could not put in a vegetable garden and small chicken coop on my property that I own free and clear. If I didn’t obey the bishop who was a lawyer by day, with regards to this demand, he would have me committed to an institution for elderly destitute people. I am a well educated widow of 62 who has all my mental faculties about me. That was when I demanded to be removed from the church roles. If I actually accomplish getting my name off the rolls then when I die, my spirit will be sent to “Outer Darkness “(Mormon version of hell) where I will never see my husband or family again. And in this life time I will be considered an apostate and must be shunned by other Mormons. So basically a clerk in Salt Lake City can, with a few key strokes undo what Jesus Christ did for me on the cross. I don’t think so!

Same here, but be very careful. I have been where you are and I am telling you that it can and will get worse if you accept their help, the strings attached to that help will tie you up and bind you in every way. There’s other places to get help that don’t come with strings. The food pantries at real churches may not compare to the storehouse, but you will find that freedom is a very good taste. I promise you.

I saw something on KZread that I had never known before about Joseph Smith. I have not researched or verified this, but if it's true it very much impacts the credibility of Mormonism. The KZread video made the claim that typhoid swept through the Smith family while Joseph was six years old. The disease initially settled in a gland in his armpit which a doctor then lanced and drained with no pain medication. The typhoid then was said to become systemic finally settling in the tibia of his leg. From the report, there were three separate occasions where they cut open his leg, with no pain medication or anesthesia, on three occasions and scraped the infection off the bone and out of the muscles. The psychologist stated that this sort of trauma in early childhood would cause dissociation from reality, and that this could be a lifelong issue. If this is true, it makes me see Joseph Smith in a different light - not as a liar and con man, but as a human being suffering PTSD, and deflecting difficulty or trauma by fantasizing. This, however, does not change the fact that Mormonism is a man made, false religion, and people caught up in Mormonism would be much better off finding the real Jesus of the Bible.

This is crazy seeing this comment because I was taught that Joseph Smith was sick and the infection went to his leg and the were going to amputate it but it miraculously healed through painful treatments of taking the infection out of his leg. I was taught he was even offered whisky and he turned it down because it wasn't good for him. It would make a lot of sense if the trauma made him have these fantasies. It is fascinating to learn stuff like this after being raised LDS.

T Thinker: Well your conclusion is fantasy with no evidence. How could some psychologist who never met Joseph Smith make such an outrageous diagnosis and conclusion? lol Here are some facts with corroborating evidence and witnesses that would stand up in court. Joseph and Oliver were visited by John the Baptist, Peter, James, John, Jesus Christ, Moses, Paul, and Elijah--"In the mouths of two or three witnesses shall every word be established" according to the bible. At least five people saw the angel Moroni and wrote a testimony of that fact. 13 people saw and handled the gold plates and wrote a testimony of that fact. Numerous people observed the translation process of the Book of Mormon wherein Joseph Smith gazed into the Urim and Thummim, saw the Egyptian figures in the upper portion of the device and the English translation below which he read aloud so that Oliver Cowdery could write it down. Oliver then read it back to make sure he had written it correctly. If he had, the images would disappear and new images appeared and so on. When they returned from a break, Joseph never asked where they left off because he had no idea. He just began reading what was in the Urim and Thummim again. Joseph did not know Egyptian and could not have possibly translated it in normal translation processes. The entire text of some 525 pages was translated in 60. Joseph said it was translated "by the gift and power of God." Try reading the book and ask yourself if such a book could have been written by anyone in 60 days without any revisions. Unlike the bible the Book of Mormon comes with a guarantee that "if you will read with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truthfulness of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost." Millions, including myself, testify that they have received that testimony. There is and always has been only one Jesus Christ, the son of God. He is spoken of as the coming Messiah in the Old Testament and the Redeemer and Savior in the New Testament. It is he who revealed his word to the prophets of the tribe of Joseph which are found in the Book of Mormon. See Ezekiel 37 It is he who said in the New Testament that "other sheep I have which are not of this fold, them also I must bring." He visited the tribe of Joseph and declared himself to be the Christ, the risen Lord. You can read all about his visit and his teachings in the Book of Mormon. He also told them he still had other tribes to visit--the Lost 10 tribes described in the bible. Jesus Christ began fulfilling the prophecy of Acts 3:19-21by calling a prophet (see Amos 3:7) restoring the fulness of his gospel a second time, restoring priesthood authority so the saving ordinances of baptism and giving the Gift of the Holy Ghost could be accomplished, restoring His church with the same organization and authority it had when he was on the earth, and naming his church. There is nothing man made about it. It's "built on a foundation of apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone" just as it was in the primitive church.

The real issue could also be that honest people with honest experiences of being in the Mormon cult and being strong and fortunate enough to break free of their mind control and shaming techniques could be putting their experiences forward on these random sites and Mormon members are claiming their experiences are just isolated events or just untrue. I object to being called a liar.

There is a promise from the LDS leaders that if the you can prove that the Book of Mormon is false then everything in the church would be so. It’s the keystone of the Mormon church. With all the evidence coming out proving the content, names in the book, land marks in the book etc to be accurate, how was it that a kid was able to make all this up with little to no information of the holy land during his times without the Internet / google maps? All a matter of opinion. Anyone can twist anything being good or not to their advantage and make it sound disgusting or evil. A lot of what she mentions was so bad about the LDS church comes from the Bible. So I guess in her opinion the Bible is evil too and teaches false things Here is information on the star that are on the LDS temples “Satanists were using the inverted star before it was officially copyrighted, but the symbol’s early association with Satanism still only trails back to the mid-1800s to a man named Eliphas Levi who didn’t refer to the symbol in his published works until 1854. Joseph Smith died in 1844. If you dig through negative material your outcome will be as such and the same can be said for the exact opposite, look for the good and you will find it but to have knowledge one must study both sides and determine which one outweighs the other. There is more good than bad in the LDS faith but of course that is my opinion. Trust me it was way worse back in the times of the Bible to be a disciple of Christ than it is today and if you weren’t a ordained priest there was no way you had any part in the ordinances in those times. Women had no say on really anything in those times many of whom were considered slaves. Abraham had many wifes, does this mean Abraham was in false standing with god? Polygamy in the Bible? Abraham had a principal wife, Sarah (Genesis 11:29), and two secondary wives, Hagar and Keturah (Genesis 16:3; 25:1). Abraham’s first wife was Sarah. She alone would possess legal rights and social standing as Abraham’s wife, and only her child Isaac would become the rightful heir to the family inheritance. Sarah, who was unable to bear children, gave her Egyptian servant, Hagar, to Abraham as a concubine, although the Bible also calls Hagar Abraham’s wife (Genesis 16:1-4). A concubine was a woman, often a servant or slave, who lived with a man as if she were his wife, having sexual relations with him and bearing his children. When one’s wife was unable to produce an heir, taking a concubine was a common solution in ancient times. But a concubine held “secondary wife status,” lower than that of the primary wife. The concubine’s position, while subordinate to her master and mistress, was permanent. Concubines were provided for and protected as part of the family. @@Xexy2388 You missed the entire point of the biography of Abraham and Sarah. God does not condone polygamy. We are still seeing the consequences of Sarah not trusting God. She couldn't wait for Him to fulfill His promises so she decided to step in and orchestrate things herself with disastrous consequences. Just because the Bible records history as it happened, does not mean God says it's acceptable.

I learned of this almost 2 years ago I was devastated, as was my children. My children are the ones that helped me to see the truth and the light. I am thankful to be out of the lds church. I was a member for 32 years. My husband at the time had dementia/Alzheimer's and he died this past November. Going through faith crisis watching my husband passed away and having to come to the realization that everything I believed in was false was extremely hard to bear. I have been sharing the truth to friends that are willing to listen. Have you noticed that when you try to help friends or family see the truth of the lies of this church how angry they become and pull away from you? I remember going through all of that I was so afraid that my whole life was going to come crashing down on me, which it did I went through the process of denial and unbelief. But now that I am free and my eyes are wide open I have never been happier. Thank you for your beautiful videos. It's true that the truth will set you free. You are so lucky to of recognize all of this while you are young. So many years of wasted time in the temple so many wasted hours that I could've been doing something more productive. Such a waste of money paying tithing to a church that I didn't even realize that they were paid men. No more being afraid that if I say anything or do anything that I'm not worthy to be in the presence of God. I know different now. And I'm not afraid.

RED VELVET CUPCAKE and the truth will set you free. I am not a Mormon, but I see so many testimonies from ex Mormons that say what your church is all about. My God is not secretive..... I have a relationship with Jesus Christ and it is all FREE. Why do you get so defensive?

I say statements instead of testimony because a testimony is a spiritual witness of the Gosple of Jesus Christ that is given by The Holy Ghost. However I've heard there statements aswell. And every single one of them, is a lie. So far that I've heard. They don't tell the truth or they tell half's truths and mix it with their lies or their own understanding.

Clayton Knight Your statement is exactly what the Mormon church teaches. You have no human thought process and if you believe differently it is a lie and possibly from the devil. On the other hand, followers of Christ are just that! We follow Christ teachings and nobody else’s. All this is in the Holy Bible. There is so much Scripture to back up false prophets, and your teachings (I don’t have time to write down), I know the Mormons believe that the Bible has many flaws and they do not believe. However, they will pick and choose the Scriptures they want to quote so they can feel like they are Christ like. I myself, have a personal relationship with the true Jesus and He has given me so much peace and joy. I don’t deserve it, but He is a gracious God and only He is the one I go through in prayer. My prayer for you and the others, is that you search out what is happening in the church of Mormonism. God Bless.

I need help with prayer my wife won't leave the mormon church shes been there 7 years and I recently left few months ago I was there for 5 years but I never believed in there gospel or there book. I was going to be with her and my son but I dicided to leave because the holy spirit helped me to break out of there. I still have problems with my wife every day and she don't believe in the holybible or any Christian church she gets mad when I go to my church on Sunday and all week I try and read the bible daily. I'm sad because she wants to lead my kids to her false religion and don't want to listen to me. So please brothers and sister can you pray for my wife norma lindan. Thank you God bless you all.

I am struggling understanding and accepting the church so bad. Every single time I try to go the temple and do stuff, something feels off a day after. Something tells me "it's not right!" Again, another thing pulls me back and I get scared of leaving. It's TOUGH!!

@@glorianakayima7982 as someone who felt this way as well, the long, long brainwashing is what makes you feel this way. for example, the primary song that just goes “follow the prophet follow the prophet follow the prophet don’t fall astray, follow the prophet follow the prophet follow the prophet he knows the way.” and it repeats 9 times.. leaving this church will do nothing but bring you happiness, comfort, and a new, good sense of self. other might judge you but i promise it is worth it to get out of such a truly terrible cult.

"It's not secret, its sacred". "The church is perfect, its members are not". "We are a peculiar people". "Doubt your doubts". "Its a higher law, we cannot understand as mortals"....blah, blah, blah. The Mormons have a lot of canned answers at the ready when you bring up questionable stuff. Anytime you challenge someone, expect the canned answers to come out.

Burke Shields No, Our Heavenly Father is a God of order, he has one faith, one , baptism, and one church. He call women and men but that priesthood to preach and teach the Gospel. No man and that includes women take to this honor unto himself but he that was ordained as was Aaron. And how was Aaron ordained? By the laying on of hands by those who are in authority to administer the ordinances of the Gospel.

Actually it's a personal choice left to the couple. Some people just "leave it to God" and have no qualms about not using protection. It's in handbooks that a couple should only have the kids they can afford and care for

"Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth" is the one command from God that mankind has had no problem obeying. At almost 8 billion, I think the mission is pretty well accomplished. Catholics don't see this, however. And of course it's different with Mormons because they believe you have to populate a whole new earth with your progeny in the next life.

This is well done and thought out. It gives me such hope to see young people stepping out and trying to educate those who have been lost to salvation, some due to no fault of their own, simply their birth. We are called as brothers & sisters in Christ to show those with scripture the error of their belief, & the true message of salvation. The Holy Bible, the Cannon of God, is All that is required. She has openly shared here that By FAITH ALONE, Through GRACE ALONE we are saved, nothing more. She also went on to further explain the Gospel to expand on what that might look like for those who choose to make judgments without bothering to educate themselves-The death, resurrection, & ascension of Jesus Christ, who died for ALL OUR SINS, one cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. One final word- & i sincerely do not intend to judge anyone with my remark- i have children who are now in their late 20's. I'm not too sure what has occurred to this younger, but influential segment of their generation, but they are clearly different. I do feel sorry for those of you I happen upon that display the behaviors I'm witnessing, which are impulsive, uniformed, shortsighted, self centered, and on a clinical level, roughly at an age level between 5-8 years of age. please understand i say this because it is a clinical fact that children in this age range are particularly proficient at "terrorizing the adults" into getting what they want when they want it. Parents used to discipline this. it is apparent that this is no longer the case. Again, let me be clear. While raising my children, I Never found it necessary to lay a hand on my children in discipline, I used time and talking. I utilized their long range thinking brains! Worked great for me! my kids also didn't know what a McDonalds was until after Middle School. They didn't have video games, I knew about Dopamine & its effects on the growing brain- they got a fairly good start. That certainly didn't mean they didn't have opinions! I'm asking you nay, begging you all- PLEASE use your brains! don't be swept up in "group think" its dangerous. Your thoughts and feelings.... the REAL ONES will set you on the right path. Trust God.

@@omarve547 They do all of these things because the Book of Mormon tells them that they get into heaven through good works. If they want to get to heaven, of course they have to zealously perform good works. I think they seem like decent folks but we should still be alarmed by many of the details about the LDS church that have been shared in this video. Jesus is the only way we get into heaven. There isn't any good or kind act that can get you there.

@@omarve547 by grace we are saved through faith. Not works. Of course everyone will be judged one day, and judged for there works or actions. Even those who god let's pass into the new kingdom will be judged and will have to answer for there sins. Doing good works is great but it doesn't save you and being a member of lds doesn't save you. Gods grace alone saves you. Yes you could argue that lds teaches good morals and people are better for having those morals then not having any morals. Yet some things about lds are questionable and flawed as is with most Christians denominations. I'd argue that mainstream Christianity is full of out right lies and false teachings. It us man who corrupts what is good. God's laws are good and the ten commandments were given as a mirror so the people could view themselves through that mirror and see that they are not perfect, that there hearts are full of sin. Once you look in the mirror that is the 10 commandments and become aware of your sinful ways then you must acknowledge them and turn from them. Repent and have faith that Jesus died on the cross for us, that is God's grace that he poured out on us. That is love. Being a member of a church or a certain doctrine doesn't save you or guarantee you eternal salvation. Three things will last forever: faith, hope and love and love is the greatest. So try not to be like Satan and condemn others to hell instead try loving your neighbors and tell them about God's saving grace...his love, his sacrifice. Also the Bible says not to boast and especially not to boast about good works. The true judgment of a man or woman's character is what they do when no one is watching. Tis better to give and help when no one is looking. Otherwise you'll be like the pharisees looking for praise and recognition of your works. Praise doesn't belong to the church it belongs to God. You say; "Look at our works, what a great church we are" When you should say "look at what God has done for people" That being said most churches are decieved these days and far from God. They've become churches of man not of God. Seek first a personal relationship with Jesus and understanding of the scriptures for that is the truest way to salvation. Not the doctrines of man or the laws of man. And remember even satan came disguised as an angel of light.

Another mind blowing fact is that missionaries are tremendously pressured to baptize as many people as possible. In fact, missionaries make use of physiology techniques to deceive people and achieve their daily goals. The LDS church is a billionaire global organization which promotes missionary work and marriages in order to increase its membership and therefore its profits.

Here's a mind blowing fact. Tricking people into joining doesn't work, and is counter productive, and if a mission president can't see that, he should be released from his calling. Missionaries teach the gospel and the Book of Mormon. No psychological tricks, no deceptions. Also, the Church does not need money. The Church has plenty of money. So, that blows up the theory that we need members so they give more money.

@@lindalds I was a full time missionary! I know how things work! At that time I didn't realize I was doing such things cuz I was brainwashed. It's been 5 years since then and now my mind is clear to see things people like you do not want to see. When it comes to the money, how do you thing the church made its fortune? It's obvious. Missionary work, temples and marriages are investments foe the chuch, however, they sell those to its members and investigators as blessings, salvation, exaltation and happiness.

Blacks were not allowed the priesthood until 1978 and that was only so they could become tax exempt. This is why I never understand why any black person would join this cult. They are racist AF. They teach that blacks are cursed and evil. That's why their skin is darker.

At some point you have to realize that all this *Virtue Signaling* is based on a lot of seriously screwed up deceptions. If 90% of the world are given the title minority then should you sacrifice yourself to protect those who vastly outnumber you? Who is really getting deceived her? In math the word "minority" is supposed to mean a smaller percentage not 90%.

I grew up in a small southern Utah town, and was one of 9 non members in a class of 48 kids. I received “extra credit” in high school from a teacher by agreeing to meet with the missionaries at her home. I showed up with all sorts of questions about these things you’re mentioning, and the things I didn’t agree with about the religion. The missionaries had not only ZERO answers for the questions I had, but they, as missionaries, hadn’t heard of 90% of these principles their precious religion had been built on. I transferred out of this teachers class shortly after she chewed me out for how badly I “embarrassed” her in front of the missionaries.

enlil7billion maybe the questions you asked weren’t as basic as you thought. And again, since when has one person’s faults made an entire religion false? The missionaries not knowing how to answer your questions doesn’t make my church false. And who knows, maybe your question was confusing because we don’t believe there were two tribes that came to the new world. Maybe we do believe in the same event, but the way you phrased that I have no idea what event you’re talking about.

But has "the death of death" really happened? Our cemeteries are full of dead Christians, and more are added every day. I find it difficult to understand what has changed. Please explain!

Sin condemned humanity to a physical death but Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and offered eternal life for all who declare Him as Lord and are born again into the family of God through Biblical Salvation. Yes, our physical bodies die here on earth. But for Christians, the Bible tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord in 2 Corinthians 5:8. Another verse tells us that it is appointed for men once to die and after that, the judgement. (Hebrews 9:27.) And this means that after our death here on earth, we all will face judgment from God. For born again believers, the eternal destiny is Heaven. But for the unsaved, their eternal destiny is Hell for rejecting Jesus. Jesus defeated sin, evil and death on the cross and offered Salvation to all who believe and place their faith in Him. His death was "the death of death" in that He offered eternal life through the Gospel. Death no longer held dominion over humanity... everyone has a choice to make that will determine their eternal destiny.

Then you know nothing of the doctrine of the restored Gospel of Christ. The "cross" is everywhere in LDS theology, but Latter-day Saints understand it correctly whereas you do not.

@@rodinutah Then please explain to us how it is that a woman who does not have the opportunity to marry will not be able to enter the celestial kingdom. If the husband is an adulterer- what them becomes of the children that were sealed to their parents in the temple? Are they now no longer going to the celestial kingdom since their dad fell from grace and now they are no longer sealed to him? It seems like a family's salvation/making it to the celestial realm is dependent on a faulty man. If I am wrong here- please feel free to explain in a way we can all understand. Thanks in advance.

Well, my only answer to you is that Heavenly Father is a loving father. He will not deny any blessings to those who are worthy of them. A woman who has not had a chance to marry in this lifetime will be given that chance in the eternities. Children are innocent and will be also be blessed with those blessings they deserve. It will all be worked out in the end.

That is certainly accurate. It is difficult, but we need to turn our scrutiny upon ourselves, the beliefs we hold and behavior of groups we are part of and support. I think getting to know people and learning is one beneficial road. Any other ideas?
