Some of the “above the cutoff” light spill is coming from your floor. Flat paint might be a maintenance hassle, but since you are using the area for light testing, you should do what you must to eliminate scatter.

Nice videos can you also show them side by side comparison if at all possible.

Great video guys! But, could we see this in a real world application? Say, down a dark colored road out in the woods at night? I'm curious as to how much different the 3.0's will be compared to the Ultra 2's. I almost feel like hotspot might be too tight on the 3.0's...

Any chance to do a test compared to the other bulbs once the bulbs are up to temperature? Say let them run for 10-15 minutes and before and after Lux test?

Did you adjust the bulb position to 90 degrees? I've seen scattered light patterns when the leds aren't adjusted correctly.

Awh, fawkyeah..... Anyway, I kinda want to see these put in a headlamp housing that is actually already terrible because I need a solid, sharable example of "please don't do this" that isn't a 20+ minute breakdown from Chris over at HR.

My high beam for the 3.0 is really small in width. Engineers are working on an upgrade.

My 2004 Lexus LS430 using GTR Ultra 2 as high and fog, fog light is nice, but the high beam have some problem, it doesn't have very long range as halogen, I not sure about Morimoto 3.0, because I really need the long range light for the high beam. Wide or not isn't problem.

Can you test the 3.0’s in a 4Runner headlight? Really curious to see how they perform on a side projection design

My local shop said they have already received two complains about it creating condensation in the assembly because of the way they cool, both customers lived in Ohio. Has anyone else heard of this issue?

Have not heard of any feedback like that. The temperature inside of the lights with these doesn't even get as hot as halogen and with HID this is not an issue, so I would venture this is unrelated. Change of the season is when we see the most "condensation" complaints due to temperature and pressure changes.

My 2 stroke bulbs didn't last 8 months. My passenger bulb totally burnt out and the driver side blub has a very loud fan. They are covering them under warranty but sending me the Sv.4 bulbs. They said the 2 strokes were on backorder.

No they require anti flicker / Pam modules.

wish these could be tested in a crappy 97 yukon headlight

If they're factory housings, throw them away! Get a modern set of clears and retrofit some bi-xenon H1 projectors into them. You won't even need to use the spot for the high beam bulb anymore

@@LightwerkzGlobal what about a 2019 Kia Optima? I’ve tried auxbeam f16 plus, DD SL1, hikari ultras, and hids and the hids are the only ones that can replicate original beam pattern.. but I like how leds are instant on so would rather switch back... you think 3.0 would do good?

WORTH NOTING ... Apparently they use Osrams AND a Luxeon chips in this 3.0 model lamp depending on... TWO different LED chips for different bulbs. I don't see where anybody has tested the BIGGER Luxeon chip that comes 9007 and other dual High Low bulbs.

Has anyone solved the problem of DRL/High beam combo? Half voltage for DRL.

@@LightwerkzGlobal my highbeam bulb also serves as my DRL by running 5 or 6 volts through the socket. I haven’t found any leds that will run on the lower voltage for DRL then full 12V for high beam when I need.

@@seanpeacock5595 Yes these are designed to work. They feature a DRL friendly design where it will run 30% capacity at a dimmer output mode when running in DRL mode.

@@LightwerkzGlobal thank you very much. I had contacted most of the led dealers and everyone had said they MIGHT work with lower voltage, they MIGHT flicker, they MIGHT be on or off. Certainly hope I can support Lightwerkz now.

@@seanpeacock5595 Truth is you wont know until you try. DRL driver is intended to work but we dont expect it work seamlessly on all models. If it doesn't work out for you just return it, we will help you out.
