Can you compare this next to the 2.0 so we know the improvements if any?

I put a pair of these in my Skidoo snowmobile a month ago. The low beam is amazingly bright and the cutoff line is like a curtain was dropped. On high not the greatest which i believe is due to the headlight reflector design which required me to really adjust the beam higher and clock it a few degrees from the 3 and 9 to shine on the lower edge of the reflector. Hard to believe but I think that this led is too good/focused for my sled because they mount only 8 inches apart. In an auto spread out a few feet I bet they would be really good. For running temp I can reach into the glove compartment they mount in and hold onto the heatsink and it is just warm. Then again it could be due to it being 25f outside and the majority of the heat being transferred into the headlight housing.

Why the led cutoff is not precise and not sharp like HID projector cutoff ? I ve HID d2s 5.0 and Evoex 2 projetors on 50w ballasts and 50w hid bulbs 5800 k ,i feel they give a sharper and precise cutoff than led ,is it true or im not ? Is it depend on using projectors and if yes, can i use led in HID projectors for more precise and sharp cutoff ??

I'd love to see these not only compared to the GTRs but both also in a halogen projector housing.

My only concerned is getting the emitter hot, as it runs for a longer time, thus, blowing the hot air back into the emitter, into the fan housing and the cycling continue as it gets hotter. And second, it could get projector/lens dirty over time, depending on usage and environment.

Air comes in one side of the LED, and out the other. This all happens inside the sealed headlight though, nothing from the outside of the light will come in due to this type of design.

I purchased the 2.0 from you guys.. I like them but they are a tight fit in my car.. do you have measurements of the heat sink area .. I had a huge issue on the 2.0 trying to put the h4 bulb lock around the heatsink and getting it to lock

New H4 base is fully removable, so you wont have that issue any more!

How do these compare to the GTR Lighting ultra 2? I literally just got the low beams of the GTR from you and I am getting high beams in a week or so unless the Morimoto are a better choice. I want a good beam pattern and bright which the GTR does but the beam pattern could get a little better.

This is great for the people who don't/can't retrofit projectors themselves! But retrofitting is still always the better option! And there's still always going to be a ton of people out there who buy those "DIAMOND EURO CLEAR" aftermarket housings that simply have shit optics and will take this nicely positioned bulb and throw it's performance right through oncoming drivers eyes. Nice review though, as always!

These new LEDs from premium brands have me excited. I recently bought Lumibright XT1s GEN 2 and it's the best LED I've used that doesn't dim. But we're still not at HID levels but we are slowly approaching it and with better heat management design. These powerful LEDs neccessary for Projectors since they need a powerful hotspot to be useful. Something cheaper LEDs struggle with.

Hey I was also thinking about getting the lumibright xt1 gen2 for my halogen reflector housing. Are the lumibright good for reflector housings. How do yours perform? Would you recommend them over these morimoto 2stroke 3.0?

@@sojiroseta8393 LEDs are better for reflectors because they have a stronger hotspot so yeah these will be a great choice. But again they are pricey at $170. I think it's worth the price because I've tried cheaper LEDs and they just keep dissapponting me every time. I don't have experience with the Morimotos but you can use bulbfacts.com to compare them once they review it. You won't be dissapponted with the Lumibrights. I'm glad I bought them so I don't have to worry about upgrading for several years lol.

@@MiguelRPD Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it. I was just concerned about how the lumibright performed and how good was the beam pattern as I've tried a couple of led brands but I can't get a good beam pattern. I'm going to give the lumibright a shot then. Thanks man

Do these against the gtr lighting. And possibly on a tacoma housing for us tacoma owners (2016-2021) :)

HID will always be the higher performance option inside a projector.

HID's were nice but so unreliable for me. Just had to send my morimoto HID's back because often times they go out while driving

H4 LED bulb will only work with H4 equipped vehicles. Will not plug into a H11 bulb connection as its completely different. You would want to get the H11.

People always say that about leds with a fan but are people actually by the hood listening. I mean your motor and HVAC blower motor makes more noise than that and you're driving, who cares at that point.

@@luisamoa2500 Indeed. I've never had LED bulbs with a fan, so I was just surprised. And since my car is a hybrid, noise like that would definitely be noticeable.

@@gold94chica Probably not even noticeable unless you're stationary, even tire noise will drown out the fan.

@@TopiasSalakka yeah I've got a pair in my fog lights, and since my car is a hybrid, the fan is easy to hear. But it's no issue.
