It’s fine but the appeal for me was always the look of the V twin at the front between the headlights.

Agreed that was a great design feature, I first worried this one was electric when I saw the new front end.

Yes that was certainly very eye catching but when I drove a three wheeler I got tired pretty soon because of all the bouncing a V twin gives you

Wow, what a design. Futuristic retro. Now that front and that interior on a 4-wheeler please 🙏🏼

You know how you have photocopiers where you select the size? On Morgans you select the year anything from 1931 to 1939.

Interesting about Morgan Motor Company: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWqZxMt8fNvcoMY.html
You know Richard Hammond will be glued to this clip with his mouth dribbling away if he gets to see this because that's one of his favourite car manufacturers.
A new vehicle with the romance of the beautiful streamline modern era... such a beauty
This is BRILLIANT! Definitely getting myself one in left hand drive configuration to drive the streets of Accra on Sundays :)
Congratulations! Bonkers new model and configuration.
Impressive preview. Can't wait to see how it handles.
@Baribrotzer

I wonder about that myself. Ever hear of a Vanderhall? It's a car similar to this, and the engineers found that driving only the rear wheel (as this does) made it want to do donuts.
@34136TS
2 жыл бұрын
@@Baribrotzer The reason for the skinny Xply tyres is to enable drift, too much grip and you'll flip - when set up correctly your throttle controls your angle of turn... watch some of the historical racing Morgans - Bill Tuer is a superb driver.
That is a beautiful vehicle. Morgan really did a nice job integrating that new engine into the vehicle but retaining the original look of the Morgan 3 wheeler. Without a doubt one of the nicest Morgan "3"'s ever created. A worthy successor to a long history of 3 wheelers for Morgan. This would be the perfect vehicle for those weekend getaways. The fact they have integrated those hangers on the "side blades" (which look spectacular by the way) and the ability to hang both duffle bags and hard cases onto the side really add to the usability and practicality of the vehicle. And the rear rack you can put onto it also adds much needed space for carrying your needed items. This makes a perfect "open top" car for those who don't want a motorcycle but want to enjoy the roads in a similar manner as motorcycle riders. Much more stable than a motorcycle and the passengers sit in nice comfortable seats side by side rather than front and back like a motorcycle. NICE JOB MORGAN!
Wow, brilliant design effort! Must be a riot to drive

Hoping so, there’s a lot going on with a 3 wheeler and we can’t wait to find out.
I think I've made a dozen vehicles on the configurator by now. I'm in love with it. Just a shame I'll never be able to afford one.

@@bertiewooster3326 yeah, it’s a great price point for such a unique vehicle. The question is does it deliver the right driving experience or does it fall slightly short of the mark like the new Plus 4 did? Personal opinion but that didn’t offer enough drama with the new steering system. Have reached out to our local Morgan dealer and looking forward to this coming in.

I am building my saving to get one, an used one, I am stuck in love with the S&S engine. This is also beautiful naturally a Morgan.
Morgon is know world wide for the quality of the work, but the some where we miss those cars in technologies and somewhere advertising.... Love from India 🇮🇳
For the type of vehicle it is, raw and mechanical it should not have a digital dash gauge.

I am a hardcore Morgan car fan and I plan on owning one one day but for that three-wheeler to another 130 to 140 mph wow that's freaking fast for three cylinder technology getting better and man that is a gorgeous car

When will the 5 wheel version be released?
I always loved the 3 wheeler but this is on another level. This is in my lottery garage
Will these be available stateside?
Cool !! Now, what about the BMW powered PlusFour being available in North America? Will it? And, when? Standard transmission, of course.
Beautiful vehicle 😍 Just got a 3D resin Morgan model kit to build!👍
I would love to see a 4 wheel version though
Looks fantastic, but how does it sound?
Very bold design. I have a 2016 M3W myself and am still trying to decide whether the box is ugly or cool... But a monocoque? Where is the wooden frame under the aluminum?
So beautiful
Mine would have to have a curved grill blending the front opening into the body lines. Otherwise, it is all just lovely!
Beautiful.
I'd love to see how the hood comes off, and what the engine bay looks like
Wow it even has Beeline. Great.
Did they ever do a streamlined concept? something with the exterior shape of a mg ex131, i think that the 3 wheels are a perfect base for a streamlined shape like that.
Love it.
Hi Rich! The owl story is true, I remember the owl from the 80s and 90s! It was high up in the dispatch bay, there are some photographs about in some of the Morgan histories.

I won't have the money to buy one until at least 5 years from now but... -I'm really not a fan of digital dashboards. I would rather have analog dials and a separate screen for the technical stuff. -The "specially made wheels" worry me. Can a normal garage change the wheels, or does the owner need to take them to a specialiced dealership? -Ford engine -Three cilinders Apart from that, a three wheeler being released on 2022 with a manual transmision with all the bs regulations in emmisions and whatever its something to celebrate. Keep it up Morgan. I like your style.
Love it
Regarding those side paniers - can they carry a pair of .303 machine guns?
I think the real motor-heads would like Alan Millyards Pratt & Whitney V Twin hanging out the front, rather than that nothing look!

Lighter, yes, but still only 40 ish mpg. Accepting a less rorty petrol engine or, longer term, going hydrogen or electric will be the only real 'companion technology' for such beautifully lightweight engineering in our Low Carbon Future.

I dunno, the external mounted V twin motor in chrome from the older models looks much cooler. Shame this video doesnt feature a test drive.
i want this and a caterham
looks fine, but something felt like it was missing, imo the front should look closer to a 60s lotus f1 car but idk im not a car designer
With the engine now more sensibly located inboard and the fuel tank under the passengers, it should likely drive substantially better.
To use the monocock is very good desision.
The front end looks a bit unfinished ( and I do not mean the lack of a 'V' twin) no doubt some enterprising accessory person will devise something to finish it off Chris Both

I am VERY interested in this vehicle! Help sign us up to distribute these in the United States of America! Absolutely the quintessential of what is needed in British Engineering and American road drivability, similar to Carol Shelby, Moss Motors and AC Weller Brothers Motor Cars! I truly would LOVE to see an ANALOG instrument cluster, however! It would serve more with the classical lines of the vehicle! This is just my opinion...
EV3 foreshadowing?.......... Absolute dream "car"
Why not show the engine?
New dream car, although only chance I'll have to own one Is the one I made out of lego
Bring it to ontario canada
Strong showing from Morgan over the last few years. The future is looking bright. Next challenge, the inevitable EV market :)

No V8 engine in front I kept on saying on KZread and on Facebook , I live in Cheltenham the Malvern morgan company is just down the road from me I love the Morgan brand heritage and history I was pissed off and angry with this new one, but something told me to go and look at it in the flesh.Oh my God you have got to be kidding me, it is amazing, please please if you can go to the MORGAN factory show room and see it for yourself. All of 2022is sold out!
Dunno about digital dials!

Very modern , very high tech , I bet it doesnt shake at idle , is comfortable , not hand built , quiet and totally civilised like every new hatchback on the road And the reason for spending all that money on something that is not unique anymore is ?
It went from a beautiful car with the V-Twin engine right out front to this? Who in this cpompany thought this was a good idea?
Death Trap
To me the gauges don't look as cool as the previous, v twin version.
What a shame. The old one looked so much nicer.
I love it but I hate it as well. It's beautiful but all those electronic components just means more headaches and money spent down the road replacing them.

I love the older ones and the V-twin version. This thing however is hideous. The lines are just awful and just don't work. If you disagree, well, you're wrong and I'm right.
You don't have to wear a helmet right?
The time of the smoke belching oil dripping air cooled v twin is gone. If that is your thing then like me, you are going to have to drive an older machine into the future.
