An absolutely brilliant film. Denzel and Hackman play off each other so well. I saw an interview once where Denzel said he just stood amazed in scenes he acted in with Hackman. I'm sure Hackman regards Denzel as one of the finest actors he has worked with also!

Later I saw Mr Freeman in the 1st movie I would see him in called, "Johnny Handsome". They stood out but I had no idea of the greatness they would grow into. How fitting one should honor the other at such a prestigious event, so many years later.
