Thank you for sharing this video, here are my speech notes: • dreams without goals are just dreams • life goals yearly goals daily goals • discipline and consistency • plan everyday work everyday • hard work works • Just because you are going a lot more doesn’t mean you are getting a lot more done. • don’t confuse movement with progress • it’s about what you do with what you have, not about what you have • say thank you every morning in advance, for what is already yours • each one, teach one • aspire to make a difference • nothing in life is worth it if you don’t take risk • you will lose, you will embarrass yourself, you'll suck. • to get something you never had, you have to do something you never did • the world needs a lot and we need it from you • what are you going to do with what you have? • small minds discuss other people, good minds discuss ideas • care for one another, love one another • what an opportunity we have Thank you For Reading My Notes! Because of this video I have made my own yearly-, monthly- and weekly-goals, which I share on my own channel, for people who need a reference.

@@gonzalovenegasgomez349 You should do your research, Malcolm X and Nation of Islam was a role he played. You do know that movies are actor's right? The devout Christian actor also touched on the unhealthy relationship people have with social media platforms, questioning people who choose to focus too much on themselves in an attempt to garner attention from their online followers. “The enemy is the inner me,” Washington explained, further elaborating, “The Bible says in the last days - I don’t know if it’s the last days, it’s not my place to know - but it says we’ll be lovers of ourselves.” The renowned actor continued, “The No. 1 photograph today is a selfie, ‘Oh, me at the protest.’ ‘Me with the fire.’ ‘Follow me.’ ‘Listen to me,’” asserting that “We’re living in a time where people are willing to do anything to get followed.” Denzel Washington then posits the question, “What is the long or short-term effect of too much information? It’s going fast and it can be manipulated obviously in a myriad of ways. And people are led like sheep to slaughter.” According to the Training Day actor, in heaven “there are going to be two lines, the long line and the short line, and I’m interested in being in the short line.” “You have to fill up that bucket every morning,” Washington declared. “It’s rough out there. You leave the house in the morning. Here they come, chipping away. By the end of the day, you’ve got to refill that bucket. We know right from wrong.” As the interview nears to an end, The New York Times’ Maureen Dowd asks the actor whether he “saw your share of glossolalia” growing up in the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. “Don’t play with God. Don’t play with God. You hear what I said? Don’t play with God. You heard what I said? Don’t play with God,” Denzel Washington replied to Dowd’s tone-deaf, uneducated question. The Man on Fire actor continued, “This is spiritual warfare. So, I’m not looking at it from an earthly perspective. If you don’t have a spiritual anchor you’ll be easily blown by the wind and you’ll be led to depression.” Remembering his late father, who was an ordained Pentecostal minister, Washington recalled, “That’s what got my father, he couldn’t give up the meat and fried foods,” and asked Dowd whether she had read the Bible, encouraging the reporter to “Start with the New Testament, because the Old Testament is harder. You get caught up in the who-begot-who-begot-who thing.”

Thank you Denzel. My daughter was in a terrible accident, revived a tbi, her brain shifted, she broke her back in five places, tore her vagina and anus open when she was ejected, and multiple other injuries. She was not expected to make it. She was in a coma and life support. Needless to say, her recovery was unbearable for me, and the hardest fight she ever fought for her. We had to re teach her everything. I never let her give up. I never let her fall back. She fell seven times and got up eight. Four years later, she is soaring again. With God, with perseverance, and taking risks many people couldn't survive. There is so much more to what I call Sierra's journey, but what you said, is exactly what I did to get my child back. Thank you for taking time out for everyday people. I just wanted you to know how you affect people

Denzel Washington has such a presence as a man, a human, a celebrity. It is unreal the amount of respect that he receives. What is it about him that is so unique that he is so revered? It really is his persona, the timbre of his voice, how he carries himself. So much of what we talk about when referring to him is his utter charisma AND his depth as a person. I can list virtually any actor in Hollywood, but have a hard time thinking of anyone who has earned such respect, perhaps Tom Hanks. What irony that they were together in the movie Philadelphia. Mr. Washington, of course, is not perfect as a human, but, what comes across so clearly in his public appearances is his desire to operate in an ethical manner in how he does his work as an actor.

Denzel this speech is life changing!!! It is the most inspiring lesson I have ever heard!!! Take risks, fail big, embrace failure, failing means your trying, but never quit, dreams are just that without goals, fall forward, work hard, be consistent, persist!!!This give me the guts to continue!!!

Yes the good exists inside so many notable men and women but because of the profession of acting many people don't look at those qualities. It's what makes us respect their work so much that they live the quality of their work and their normal lives. Thank you Denzel Washington and men like Chadwick Boseman for being examples to emulate. So much wisdom and power of spirit is within them and in so many others around you that do not get Applause on stage. They live next to you and down at the marketplace and in the school houses and in the legislation buildings and on the outskirts of the swamp. And they speak profound wisdom that if we take the time and get out of our own way we will hear them and learn something and do one better by using that wisdom and that knowledge and that encouragement to do the right thing not the popular thing or the habitual thing of the loyal thing but the right thing. We can't say that we want good for ourselves if whole nation goes down the tubes by the act of a few who don't want good and right and decent. I'm frustrated now and I'm concerned deeply that we won't see better days if we don't act right now. We must become the violent and the scriptures say the violent take it by force. That force is the raising of a pen and marking on a ballot. There Is Power in the signature that you have There Is Power in the vote that you have There Is Power in the most obscure person the quietest person the person who is normal and and may live in the shadows but they have power. You love America you say you want it to be better you want to make America great again. That that catch phrase has gotten a lot in trouble but it's true I want to make America great again. A lot of people are just getting to see what's really going on it's taking them almost 3 years to do that but eyes are coming wide open blinders are being ripped off the covers are being thrown back the shades are being opened the disguise is being shaved off of the Wolf in sheep's clothing. And with the more knowledge and understanding comes the wisdom to do what's necessary not comfortable not popular but necessary to make a difference. I'll see you at the November polls when we elect a new president and 2024. Bring the power of your vote with you when you come.
