For the fuel flap to open did you wait for it to show you the "Refueling Plausible" message? Sometimes it gets stuck because some would click the button and immediately try to open the fuel flap which causes it to be jammed. Even after it show the message and it can't be opened, the service centre can sort it out.

If the hybrid battery completely die off without replacing it, can this car still drive like a normal car?

Short answer, NO

I think you should quickly get the new PPF film on the headlights as they protect from chips you'll pick up along the highway travel on a daily basis. Those are not burn marks, they are simply adhesive from the old PPF which can be cleaned with just WD-40. Polish will leave scars or swirl marks on the plastic lens surface.

Mine has extended battery warranty. Expires end of 2025

Usually is the Auxiliary battery (AGM Battery) is bad. Have mine replaced under warranty and the issues is fixed.

Can i know the battery model you replaced. I contacted the battery company they told the battery does mor support auto start/stop.

You need get only the AGM battery. It's very expensive

I think the X5 with more issue is this F15 hybrid model.

It's still a good car for the money. But best get the car inspected before you pull the trigger

At one time was considering f10 too since it's way cheaper but I prefer SUV high position driving so scrap the f10 idea. But so far the issues highlighted are mainly because the BMW Premium Selection either did not do a 360 inspection or they did a rush job. Either way it's easily sorted out since my X5 still has warranty

I own both .. never an issue.. then again We get ours from Germany & I’m from the UK..

That all are small issues. Rectifiable easily. Nice car by the way.

BMW X5e is not a good car ! A lot of error code and electrical problem. Very expensive to keep it and maintain it !

The latest one G05 model with B58 engine is alright. The F15 model were using older 2.0 litre which is underpower when battery not charged. And the battwry for this generation isnt matured yet.

Limited electric range ok....not a 45e...but 2 litre engine is far from underpowered...rapid effortless acceleration..

I guess bmw premium selection will sure want to earn profit from selling preowned car. The premium that u paid will not be able for them to cover every component spoilt and you already using it. Otherwise they will forever need to replace which eating up their profit until u stop driving the car :). If all their customers are like u think they would close shop by end this year... Is there any written doc from bmw premium whats their responsibility to cover for component spoilt?

I'll never buy hybrid car again. Got a E300 BlueTec Hybrid b4, got battery problem. RM150,000 for new replacement. Gila ah. Luckily got Extended Warranty. After replace, straight away sell off the car for 70k 😂

BMW:banyak masuk workshop.. w my previous f30 1st x in my life for a car I needed to replace the steering rack twice- once under warranty (the quoted rm13k) and the second time out of pocket... unreliable so much for ultimate driving machine

That's the negative and also the positive part of owning a BMW. But to be fair most of the BMW I've owned are quite reliable, meaning they never left me stranded. But they do cost a more to maintain

F30 got quite some issue. Was almost gotten F30 way back but switched to Q50 instead. I have owned F10 528i 3.0 litre, now 530i and newest X5 45e. The previous F10 and current G30 are great. No issue except for some motherboard for driving assistant. But none of them caused me stranded.

Nv bought a used or premium selection car. Unless it’s a demo car.

Almost went for G05 X5 used or premium selection until i gotten the best deal, new X5 with less than 450k.
