Hello, I'm from Brazil and didn't find any portuguese videos teaching Mohr Circle. Thanks god I found this one, you really make me understand. It's funny that there is a lot of informations on books but no one talks "for what I need Mohr Circle"!!

I have one question: In the video, the process of constructing the stress element involves a qualitative assessment of which stress is present, and which one is not. Is that the only way to do it? What if I come across a complex geometry part where it can't be seen immediately what stresses are acting on an element?
