The openings showing the more mundane and communal activities of the characters lives are way better than any of the action-based openings.

agreed .. seeing all these details of the life of us hunters, how a nullberry looks like, how they dress up and prepare for a hunt, the social life at the tavern etc... is way more satisfying than watching any of the 2 MH movies. This big collection is my MH movie.

One thing I've noticed we kinda lost the op all together in current world gen idk if it's 5 or not but past world it's just very trailer like.

Agreed the the live action movie would be better if it had more monsters and followed more of an anime stories like Inuyasha or time paradox and the animated version would be better if it wasn’t a flashback story

Nah, i would love to see series in MH universe. Kinda like ATLA or Merlin. With decent story, good written characters, and deep world/ecology building this could be pretty popular animated or live show. If you want mindless fighting, just go play the game.

Most MH cinematics show the solidarity among hunters. You see a hunter fighting, usually alone and maybe a bit on the ropes? You go and help, no hesitation.

tri/3 and mh3u do not have the same intros.

The parts where you see a hunter on the ropes and he gets saved by a buddy is always hype. Thank god for SOS flares because now I feel like I’m living that hype

That feature did always make me sad a little bit in world and rise too. The lobbies lost a lot of their purpose and social aspect since everybody is just quick joining sos signals.

As you can see from the opening and ecological movies, the world that the development team envisioned from the first generation has been realized in MHW. It's great that the core of the franchise hasn't changed.

MH3U gives me so much nostalgia. When I was a kid i would play that game with my dad, but sadly our Wii U stopped functioning, so we couldn't play it more, but it's the game i treasure the most for all the good times i had with my dad.

I came back here because Monster Hunter wilds.

Me for Tri Cant kill Rathalos when I was a Kid It was so hard to beat the lagiacrus and I thought its the last boss and then there came this fucking Rathalos Can you swim in 3U? I was so sad its not in 4U :(

@@Stash202 You can swim in 3 ultimate 3 ultimate is pretty much a remastered version of tri, just like how monster hunter 4 ultimate and generations ultimate are remastered versions of monster hunter 4 and monster hunter generations. The first game I played was tri but I played 3 ultimate more because it had more monsters, more weapons, more areas, and in my opinion better multiplayer.

Don´t be fooled, what it was representing World was the Tokio Game Show of 2017 trailer for the game, it even has a preorder ad after the Nergigante takes off. In fact, all the "intros" afterwards are trailers.

The feeeeeeelings I get are hard to describe.

Ps4 nowdays can be find at good cheap price..especially second hand..plus,just get a reasonable tv,dont get a high price branded 4k tv if ur not planning to upgrade to ps5..

After MHXX (MHGU) quality of openings drops unbelievably low

It's a shame that the opening of world/iceborne and rise are basically a trailer instead of the cgi intro of past games, it loses the charm they had showing mundane life in the world of monster hunter

It's a shame they stopped making these after GU

it's just to show that the game is the expansion like how monster hunter world iceborne is an expansion to the base game and same with Monster hunter Rise and sunbreak. Master Rank back before Monster hunter World and Rise used to be called G-Rank but its now called master rank.

Its funny with opening, my old day play 1st generations hunter, make me think i can cut rathalos with iron sword, agitho+ plus cluster with arbalest long barrel 🤣🤣🤣, u need minimum weapon likes serpent blade kill this wyvern & yian kut ku armor .

Old MH shows how strategy hunting is more useful which it is popular model at that time. Recent MH shows how multiple play style hunting is preferable where it is popular nowadays.

I was mad at my girlfriend for hurting my feelings.after I watch this video.i forgive her for hurting me.cause this video give me power of KUSHALA DOARA

Opening cinematic wise world is among the worst next to Rise.

I'm really disappointed in the monster hunter X opening because they didn't let Glavenus fight Nargacuga i mean seriously Tigrex fights Gammoth, Mizutsune fights Zinogre , and Astalos fights Rathalos It doesn't make sense for Capcom to not let the black blade kitty fight the Picklejho's blade brother

The Fated four are fighting the Flagship Monster of the portable games of the respective Generation they're supposed to represent here. But there had not been a MH portable game before MHX in the 4th gen, so Glavenus has no counterpart to fight. It actually makes sense

If capcom can make RE remakes they should do MH remakes. Preferably MH1, MHFU, MHTri, MH3u and MH4U especially since MH4U and MH3U servers are now shutdown.

Rise is the best

this shows how monster hunter is losing its soul. Starts with a ecosystem with mundane activities and dangerous"monsters" living near the villages etc to a hack and slash action super hero type of game. sadly.
