MONSTER BULL ELK BOWHUNT OF THE YEAR!

Спорт

This elk hunt was long and mentally taxing. John Dudley of Nock On Archery was chasing a giant bull he had seen and heard the first day of the hunt and was destined to only kill that growler bull. On the 6th evening, Dudley was minutes late of shooting light to the monster bull he was after as it was having an all out battle with the bull he ended up shooting on day 9. To shoot this huge bull after it battled it out with the ghost growler he was after was an epic ending to a hard fought battle with the backcountry bulls!

    I love archery and everything, but will never understand people who kill animals just for fun or for trophy... I can understand that someone do it to feed the family, but to do it for funnor prestige , that's so sad. No man should have that twisted mind setup.

  • @mitchellshirk2533

    @mitchellshirk2533

    There is way more to this video than prestige and ego. First off, the meat is consumed by John and his family. You as a non hunter have no idea what goes into the pursuit of an animal, and the work after a harvest. You see death and smiles, and immediately turn to cruel and sick minded. There are few things on earth that can compare to the reality of preparing your heart, mind, and soul for a hunt. Work and determination, failure and persistence. Then, if you're lucky, the chance to experience a part of Creation in a way no one else can imagine. Taking a life is not done for "fun". It's part of hunting. Death is nothing to take lightly, and any hunter would agree with me. Still think I'm crazy? Think about this, if he killed for fun, why would you go through miles and days of rugged country, then after the kill, process the animal and carry packs with hundreds of pound of meat over mountains and through steams? Not necessarily fun, but it's part of the hunt. Just as death is part of the hunt. Are there people who do kill for fun? Absolutely, they are called poachers, and their actions are inhumane and immoral. Death is a part of life, and their is not an organism on earth that does not kill in order to sustain its own life. Before you bash another hunter, I dare you to experience what this video is truly about - hunting... not killing. Without experiencing, you have no pull in this argument of "killing," and should truly be ashamed of you remarks.
