I just started with Leica Monochrom this spring and I consider my M10 to be my highest performing camera and it would be one of the last things I would ever part with. The image quality is better than b&w images from color digital cameras and b&w film. High resolution and dynamic range make it magical and so fun to use!

Paul- I'm really in to monochrom images...and the Leica Q2M (used) seems to run significantly more expensive than the color Q2. Do you EDIT your images from the Q2M and do you get better edits from it? As I've seen some fabulous edits from Q2 color images? Thank you. Enjoy your videos.

Excellent video and images as always. Even though most of my work is in color, I love B&W photography and now have the Leica M11 monochrome and you have inspired me to use it more. Keep up the great work!

Good afternoon Paul, Given your enthusiasm for platinotypes, I think it was really important that you stressed that silver printing also has a richness to it. Different admittedly, but richness all the same. In fact the go printing urge sent me searching for a darkroom at least to do the development / contact printing part. Only thing halting me is I never really was good with that in the past. However a recent experiment where I started to convert to BW the excellent scans I was getting from Silbersalz made me realise how powerful that option is. Silbersalz => Appollo scans => BW and... the local darkroom have a Bostick & Sullivan UV Box... I you get my drift :)

Another enjoyable video Paul. I Do enjoy B&W photography and a monochrome camera would be very nice. The nearest I have at the moment is my infrared converted 850nm which is great as I really enjoy shooting those types of photos as well.

How about you cut off all the bullshit and money, and just stick to the message of getting people to print their photographs? It's that easy. It could be instax, who cares. The second knob of photography is gifting. It gets you out of your head. You must understand that. With intention. Oh, hey, I got something for you, here's a print, just for you. Do You Feel my actual intention. This is unique and it's made perfectly for you at this moment. Maybe they will hang it in their trash bin, or their bathroom, but the gift is the closer on the photograph. Gift prints. Someday it might make you famous.

Yeah I have given prints away before. Tomorrow I’m doing a shoot for someone also for free. Unfortunately I also need to make a living with my photography so not everything is free. Even this channel takes time to keep going. I’m terrible at editing videos so it takes me longer than most. This channel is also free for everyone to watch.
