Anyone who has ever attempted to shuck a coconut knows how incredibly difficult it is by hand, it's difficult with tools.

That is one big coconut and a strong monkey. But, what was the monkey looking for? It just had a few sips of coconut water, and then it went away.

here in west java, most sundanese believe in adagium that it's impossible for primates to crack a single coconut. it's exactly means that coconut is parable for such case that couldn't solved by us. well, dat adagium was totally wrong. your video proves it!

Came here after I planted a few coconut plants...these monkeys they actually pulled the plant out of the ground and the way in which they shredded the shell I could tell it was them...🇹🇹 mountain farmer here

They are small and strong. It's not easy to husk coconuts, I grew up in the tropics we used stones sometimes instead of machete. Always the danger of getting hurt in the head by flying coconut. Good old days. This new generation would worry about their nails.

Some think good pets and they can not do much damage. Those coconuts are hard to tear apart. Good teeth. Exactly why asses have to rip their canines out and shave down the rest. Still have that strong chomp down. Could rip your ears off good too.
