When Isaiah said: “once I leave this arena it’s all gone” I almost cried
I wasn't even the hugest basketball fan, but I'll never forget the day I came in to work and saw my friends with tears in their eyes. "Kobe's gone" they said. That wave of disbelief was unreal, and so tragic.

I'd never been to a baby shower before. I was invited by my coworker and when she asked me I was actually stunned. I told her "I wouldnt miss it for the world" later on the event was wrapping up and another coworker who didnt care about basketball like us gave us the news and damn that was so weird. It felt like we lost a family member we never met
MJ's return to Chicago was epic...made me tear up...standing ovation was something special to witness.
We all miss you Kobe. Rest in Peace to the greatest ever. Edit: People please don't fight in the comments. I meant to say greatest Lakers ever(which he is) but no problem if I greatest of all time(for me he is)

Even though it’s been nearly 3 years since that fateful day, I just can’t stop myself from tearing up just thinking about Kobe. Kobe genuinely gave me hope in life and I was inspired by his story and he made me to persevere against hardships because we will eventually prevail. I love you Kobe and I will always look up to you!🙌❤️😢
I looked up to Kobe. He's an inspiration and a mentor to many. We all miss you Kobe, Rest in Peace.
"The death of Kobe is one of the saddest moments in sports history" it is THE saddest moment.
Omg like all these made me cry
As an NBA fan and a Spurs fan, the moment that made me cry was their last championship in 2014. After their disappointing loss in 2013 in Miami, they got their redemption against the Heat. It was also their first championship in 7 years. The post game moments and interviews made me cry, Manu and his children, Pop like a proud father with Kawhi and TP but especially the one by Doris Burke on Tim Duncan with his children. He talks about the sacrifice and the hardships they've come through and winning on the day of Father's Day is a very special moment.

I think we all can agree that this video let to some tears. And I think this is on of the best videos I ever saw. Rip mamba
I'm literally tearing up watching this how all those stars past and current small moment or huge went thru at least one heartbreak and overcame that adversity
I weep a little when D Rose dropped 50 as a Wolf and I don’t even follow him like that, but I understand all the struggles that he had to deal with injuries, people doubting him that he wasn’t any good anymore and etc… the accomplishment that he achieved in that game is kinda like having a big rock lifted off his shoulders. I, like many others might get labeled as a Lebron hater, but that championship that he won in Cleveland was spectacular.. big props to him and that team 💪 David Aldridge said congratulations to IT @1:58, I know he meant for the career high, but when I heard that I was like 😱😱…. Also, Boston did IT real dirty…I understand it’s a business decision, but if what IT said years later was true, that Boston “hide” the seriousness of his injury so he would go out and played for them, then that’s boarder line criminal….
I remember getting a call from my dad, saying Kobe was just killed in a helicopter crash. I grew up watching all of his games with my dad, the level of shock and just downright disbelief was a feeling I've never felt before to this day.
D Rose will always be my favorite. He was the most athletic player ever in the NBA, was the face of the NBA, probably inspired hundreds, if not thousands, of PGs to play. The way he was going, he would have been one of, if not, the best of all time. He got smacked with injuries but still wouldn’t let that end his career, even though he couldn’t do what he did in ‘08 any more. D Rose is a true man. He didn’t make excuses for his fall in greatness, he just worked with what he was given.

“They gave up on me” always hurts hearing from him he was such an amazing player in the league to be left behind just hurts
When Kobe died. Even non-kobe/ non-lakers fan cried. I’m one of the biggest fan there is and I cried the whole day and feels crying everytime I’m reminded he’s gone
“You the real mvp,” got me man. 🤧 I love my mom. And shout out to all the moms out their. Y’all truly are the mvps of this world.
Once Perkins makes a prediction, the opposite completely happens. Lmfao
It's insane that Isiah Thomas even came to the game after his sister died, let alone drop 53.
I love that when Zion put credit to his mom, she did everything to put the credit back to him. That's pure... idk, teamwork seems like an insufficient word for it. But both of them really putting in work for the other, that's what greatness is really all about.
Man, I’m still in shock and tears that Kobe and Gigi has passed. They were gone too soon for us and I learn to appreciate what they’ve accomplished and did in those time. We still miss you King of LA and the true GOAT, Kobe “Bean” Bryant
Derrick we love you! Thanks for all the great memories!
The last one... it is still so tough to watch after 3 years
Kobe was my favorite player growing up and I still miss seeing him and his daughter at Lakers games
Kobe's always hits the most!!!! 😢😢😢😢😢
I’ll be honest… I grew up despising Kobe Bryant. Like many, I thought he was a selfish player who cared more about his own success than that of his teammates and the team he played for. But when I learned of his tragic passing, something happened to me… it’s like the wool that had been draped over my eyes was lifted. When someone famous dies, the whole world seemingly comes to a screeching halt. We suddenly see the big picture, often in spite of the finer details that could ruin it. They were human beings who had their callings in life, and they heeded the call, and they went above and beyond what was asked of them, pushed themselves to make the most of the opportunities they had been presented with. Kobe cared IMMENSELY about the people in his life, he just had his own way of showing it. The success he had as a Laker was a result of all the time and dedication to the game that he devoted them to. For 20 years, he was not just the face of the Los Angeles Lakers, he was the city of Los Angeles. He was the epitome of basketball excellence. He was a devoted player, teammate, father, husband, member of the community… He was and always will be The Black Mamba. Basketball’s 8 and 24. Los Angeles. We love and miss you, Kobe. Thank you for everything.
MJ’s speech about Kobe’s death was definitely one of the saddest, the real MVP by KD was hella emotional, and Kobe’s death itself was a heartbreak.
This was fantastic editing
"I worked my ass off for this bro" So relatable... Honorable Mention: That crossover and the dunk by Klay Thompson his first game back. I'm not a GSW fan but I felt that, not to tears but I really felt that.
We miss you so much Kobe Bryant " Mentality"
That John Wall one always gets me, so genuine
The death of Kobe was not only one of the saddest moments in sports history it was also one of the saddest moments in all of history we lost a legend that day rest in peace Kobe mamba forever

The Rose interview just hits different. Just imagine how different things would’ve been and would be had he not gotten wrecked by injuries.

Watching Kobe last game in a bar was so memorable. Only person with his Jersey on. Watching your hero go out like that was bitter sweet knowing all the injuries he went thru he just wanted everyone to put on a show for the fans.
This is a work of art
If you love the game you love these moments 🙏🏾🤧🏀🏀
Even if you aren't a Lakers fan, the news of Kobe Bryant's death had to make you cry.
I don't know about anyone else but for me kobes death hit me real bad and hard growing up loving the game of basketball and because of him I love to play it 🙏🏽🕊R.I.P🕊🙏🏽💛💜
When Isaiah Thomas said “THEY GAVE UP ON ME”
I don’t have to watch this whole thing and know it’s gonna be a W video
I have honestly learned so much from this channel
That IT "they gave up on me" fuckin hurts man, that's a deep pain that you can only experience when you've felt the brightest lights first. To work for every inch, then lose all of it seemingly in an instant, man I feel for the guy. When he was great he was great
