I would say the 2018 Rockets beat themselves more so than the Warriors beating them with key injuries (Luc A Moute, and CP3) one underperformer ( Clint Capela), and the 27 missed 3s and still losing by single digits.....with a 15 point lead at halftime without CP3. 2017-2018 season Rockets is the focus Don't bring up the yr after when KD got hurt....Rockets lost 2 key pieces in free agency and CP3 and Harden started feuding and the chemistry wasn't the same.

Of the 4 titles the Warriors won, I think their 2022 one was the most impressive. It showed that they were still there when a lot of people assumed their run was over. I think that's the one that meant the most to Steph too.

The 2019 Warriors were so good that they lost KD in the 2nd round, made the finals anyways, stole 2 games despite KD only playing 12 minutes, and were up late in Game 6 until Klay tore his ACL. And they weren't even as good as the 2017 Warriors.

lol. Raptors were the better team that season (2-0 vs the 100% healthy Warriors in the regular season). It was only close because OG never played a minute of the playoffs, Kawhi was playing with a leg injury (which is why his PPG were way lower than they should have been against a weaker defensive team) and Lowry had a hand injury requiring major surgery. I think the fact that Nick Nurse didn't whine about the injury situation is why people mistakenly think they were healthy.

The 2015-2019 era was an awesome/awful time in the league. The awesome was being able to witness the dynasty of GS, the other was the Cavs 3-1 comeback. The awfulness was how every team was pretty irrelevant until 2019 free agency.

What they Warriors lost with KD's departure, they got the combo of Wiggins and Pool: defense, scoring and playmaking. And they also had depth. The 2022 team was not the same team from 2017-2019.

God that 2017 revenge season after choking a 3-1 lead as Warriors fan was so sweet. We went from hated to despised in a single day and one signing and I loved every second of it. two things made this possible: 1. Steph was still on a cheap contract from when he was injury prone 2. The NBPA rejected cap smoothing for the new TV deal and opted for an instant cap spike which allowed GSW to sign KD

KD: "Why I'm not in the goat debate what havent I done" Everyone else: didn't win a real championship and ruined the NBA for 2 years because he was butt hurt. Everyone knows Curry was the best player and main focus of all defenses that played the warriors.

What I liked about this warriors team was their bench, those bench guys were also great and most of the time score a lot when they have the lead.

I grew up less than a mile from oracle arena, Steph was drafted the year I was born and I will never forget this era of not just nba history but my life. They put Oakland on the map and I will forever be grateful to have grown up in this city at this time. (2017 warriors are clapping 96 bulls btw)

Kawhi on one leg beat the Warriors in 2019. He had some leg/knee injury he suffered at the end of the ECF.

They eventually won in 2022. That speaks volumes on how good that team was without KD. They also won in 2015. Having said that, I think that the 2017 GSW is the best team ever assembled.

As a die hard 90s Bulls fan, no doubt that KD's Warriors is the greatest team ever assembled, especially the last version....the 2018/19 with the Cousin, Pole and all that bench. Only injuries could stop them

KD will forever be a snake for joining a 73 W team that he couldn’t beat the year prior.

The 96 Bulls would have demolished this team with 90s rules. They would have won comfortably with modern rules.

When the Warriors win, there are no Kyrie and Love; when the Cavs win, there is no Bogut and Green, all of whom play big roles on defense in the Warriors' system. What I mean is, both teams deserve credit for winning the finals. Injuries are part of the game..

2019 roster should be the best ever. They had curry, klay, KD, Draymond, and boogie.

Raptors beat them twice in the regular season (both times, the Warriors were 100% healthy). It's just a shame that BOTH teams were so crippled for the Finals. Raptors were without OG (their most versatile defender) and both Lowry and Kawhi were playing with injuries (Lowry had a hand issue requiring major surgery and Kawhi injured his leg/knee at the end of the Bucks series).

@@Paulafan5 at that point warriors did not take the regular season serious at all. When kd came back against raptor for that 1 quarter they were destroying the raptors. Plus they got raptors to 6 games and only started losing when klay got injured.

so much bout kd but u cudnt once speak abt how gud curry was during this period. all the gud part of the team u spoke abt was circling around kd and all the bad part around curry and the splash brothers. lowkey sad. are we really gonna forget how curry inhibited his own growth in ball for the overall team success. he cudve have played like how he does now way back then too. with insane finishes at the basket. hes just more than wht stats can show. and cmon he averaged just 2 points less than kd in the 18 finals. the main focus of defense was curry.

Plus, by the numbers, the 2017 Warriors were better. They're my favorite team all time but objectively, 72 wins with a ring edges out slightly.

As painful as it sounds, losing Game 7 in 2016 was a blessing in disguise for DubNation. All that loss did was unleash an active volcano on the rest of the NBA. Kevin Durant's arrival signaled one thing. "CLEVELAND YOU'RE A DEAD MAN WALKING!" Not to say the Cavs weren't pushovers, they had come back from 3-1, and most of if not their entire 2016 team would be back in 2017. However, I must admit this. The only time I've never ever gotten nervous during a single playoff run of any of my teams was the 2017 Warriors. I made the point that this team may never lose again. Their only loss was Game 4 of the Finals where the Cavs got off to a ridiculously hot start and never looked back. Other than that game Game 3 against Cleveland, and Game 1 against San Antonio were the Dubs ever in a position to lose a game during that postseason. 2018 I thought would be more of the same. But then we realized that the Houston Rockets were going to make us earn every minute of that series. The Chris Paul injury was a big blow, but thats not why they were eliminated. The Rockets got beat at their own game. The 3 ball. You tried to copy us Houston, but to no avail. And by the way, enjoying missing 27 straight 3-pointers. The Finals was a coronation other than the overtime epic in Game 1. Once JR Smith didn't know what he was doing, the Cavs were dead on arrival. 2019 would be considered a What If by most Warrior fans, but to be honest, they got outplayed by Toronto. When you lose all 3 games at home regardless of who is out there, thats not a good look. I know KD was hurt, and Klay tore his ACL in Game 6, but there's no excuse to go 0-3 at home especially losing the final game at Oracle to lose the series. I do think it was best that KD left for the Nets only in the sense that both he and Steph wanted to prove that they could win a title without the other. Durant hasn't really come close other than in 2021, and Steph was able to win it all in 2022. That team like the 2015 Warriors had 30, 11, and 23 leading the way with their Strength in Numbers motto of unsung heroes making key contributors helping them out. Who knows if the Dubs will make it back, but I must say this. Boy, what a joy it was to watch those teams, especially 2015-18 play.

My rant on the 2016 - 2019 Golden State Warriors: The Kevin Durant era of the Golden State Warriors was obviously one of the most hated eras of the team. 2016 - 2017: The San Antonio Spurs were on the verge of obliterating the Warriors UNTIL ZAZA PACHULIA HAD TO INJURE KAWHI LEONARD TO MAKE SURE SAN ANTONIO PAID THE PRICE BY HAVING THE WARRIORS COME BACK TO WIN GAME 1, ULTIMATELY COMPLETING THE SWEEP OF THE SPURS!! LIKE IN 2016, GAME 1 AND GAME 2 WERE LOPSIDED WINS FOR GOLDEN STATE, AND MY CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WERE ON THE VERGE OF WINNING GAME 3, BUT THEN DURANT HAD TO RUIN IT BY HITTING THAT DAGGER ON THE WAY TO WINNING THE 2017 TITLE FOR GS, AND FORCING DAVID GRIFFIN TO STEP DOWN AS GENERAL MANAGER AND ALSO FORCING KYRIE IRVING TO REQUEST A TRADE!! 2017 - 2018: The Houston Rockets had a chance to go back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1995, BUT GOLDEN STATE HAD TO RUIN IT IN GAME 6 AND GAME 7!! THEY ALSO HAD TO SWEEP MY CAVALIERS WHEN DURANT HAD TO HIT THE SAME DAGGER FROM 2017, WHICH FORCED LEBRON JAMES TO LEAVE MY CLEVELAND CAVALIERS AGAIN!! 2018 - 2019: My FLAMING passion for hating the Warriors no doubt reached its peak, as I would start going furiously ballistic every time Golden State won following that Warriors-Bulls game on October 29, 2018 (Simpsons star Dan Castellaneta turned 61 that day), AS WELL AS MY CLEVELAND CAVALIERS NOW BEING TRASH BECAUSE OF KD AND GOLDEN STATE MESSING THEM UP!! If the Warriors hadn't got KD to join them, they would have had a lot more money to spread around multiple role players, like they'd done in 2014 and 2015, to give them a chance to win titles. They wouldn't have been as good as they turned out to be with him, but they would have been right there in the mix...every year. That was a jacked team, even without KD.

Even if the warriors are done I'm really happy that they won in 2022 this season is straight sad

history would've changed so significantly if anything mentioned in this video went any differently at all
