Kobe Bryant's Most BADASS Moments
Спорт
Kobe Bryant made countless game-changing shots, schooled top-tier players, and pissed off a lot of fans. Off the court, he was unfiltered, unapologetic, and one of the coldest NBA players ever. Here are Kobe Bryant’s most badass moments.

Kobe really did change what it means to be a great player. Dude was a monster while playing, you'd fear facing him. After he retired, he's the first person they all went to. He really just loved the game so purely, it sucks he was taken way too soon

Not disagreeing per say, but there are a ton of people that reach this level in many professions. Whats admirable to me, and important to understand, is how and why he got there. I mean, your statement "Kobe really did change....blah blah blah.".. is truly absurd. There are so many similar historical examples I could fill a 1000 pages, but ya he had something unique, real analytical question is what, why, how. He is definitely not unique or some god to be praised as you suggest. MJ cowshits on that idea.

The quarter inch rim story is insane because only Kobe would notice something that detailed and nuanced. Shows his love for the game and attention to detail hence why he hosted that show on ESPN called "Detail."

I dont want to be an ass but, I mean... he "felt" the height difference and then just guesed. 1/4 of an inch is the width of a pencil, impossible to grasp from shooting distance. Still a fucking cool story thou
@user-xu3bg7zh9c
2 жыл бұрын
@@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz4839 just to be clear. I totally belive the fact that a professional player could, like I said, FEEL the difference. they made the same shot millions of times and im sure they can feel a height change. But catching 1/4 an inch by sight? impossible, let alone guessing the exact value of 6 millimeters (aka 1/4 inch). Still think thats a super badass story, kobe was the man.

That story was a little hard to believe just because the way its told seems made up on the spot. Just the way there happens to be a guy measuring the net after the game that he could ask about the net. Also depending on what kind of shot your trying 1/4 of an inch shouldn't even effect if it goes in or not. I doubt it's a true story but stories like that tend to happen when you reach such a legendary status.

One of the best Kobe moments for me was when he believed in Giannis's potential, gave him a challenge to win MVP and later on a championship, Giannis worked hard and completed both challenges. I just wish Kobe was here to see Giannis grow and become the best.

I didn't cry, for a long time. One night though, I'm scrolling through Facebook and I see a story with Kobe and a sick kid. They asked him if he could give the kid an autographed jersey, he said "I can do better than that, I'll just show up there." Kobe gave them merchandise and took a picture with them. After that picture, the words just pop into my head, "Kobe's never going to smile again." That's when I finally lost it.

no BS I cried over it just this past week bc I had suddenly remembered that KOBE was gone. of all the celebrities & public figures I've ever watched/followed in my lifetime, I would NEVER have guessed that Kobe Bryant, the Mamba, the man who's inspired generations & amazed millions, would tragically pass at just age 41, let alone alongside his daughter & in a preventable accident. this man always appeared to me as the embodiment of sheer willpower, unparalleled discipline, a winning spirit, & the foresight to see his goals through. I also tear up when I remember how fondly he always spoke of his family in interviews & how wide his grin was with them. I likewise teared up watching clips of veteran NBA giants, usually as nonchalant as can be, openly weeping about the awful news. Kobe was such a national & even international culture icon for sports, that it feels INSANE to be discussing a man who had so much life left to live, in the past tense. he was beloved for a reason & had a hell of a mindset. RIP champ!! 🏆
Kobe transcended the sport, and he was simply an inspirational global sporting icon. He will forever be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, Kobe Bryant. One of the NBA's best legends.
Kobe was an artist and the court was his canvas. Nobody could put on a show like Kobe.
I’m a die hard Celtics fan, but this man was beyond incredible. Hated when LA battled Boston, but I can’t help to admire Kobe’s greatness. RIP Mamba

As a Los Angeles native I always felt the same way about The Celtics. For years I dreaded when we would go up against Boston in the finals with KG, Perkins, Big Baby, Pierce, Ray Allen, & Rondo. I hated those dudes yet still respected them cause they were some beasts on the court and were responsible for some of my most cherished childhood basketball memories ✌
Kobe really took training to another level. His work ethic is legendary
He is an inspiration to everyone not just related to sports and basketball.
These are the reasons why Kobe is my favorite player of all time 💛💜 miss you Kobe
I just randomly went on a kobe highlight binge and man gone way to damn soon. When they talked about he he was relaxing finally and opening up after retiring.. it just makes me think of how truly upsetting it is looking back at all this.
I'm not even the biggest basketball fan, but hearing Kobe's passing was like a shot to the heart. Absolutely tragic such a monster player was taken so soon, one who kept giving back to the game even after he retired.
I'm old enough to say that Kobe is the greatest of my time.
I think kobe was the only person in the world that made the word crazy a good thing.
We lost him way too soon :( such an irreplaceable legend
I watched the achillies tear freethrows... that shit was heart wrenching. Fucking legend. Love you Kobe

Bro Kobe really could tell a quarter of a inch bro really locked in at ten feet. Also the one more than Shaq is a classic. R.I.P Kobe
The thumbnail and title almost brought a tear to my eye
This guy was AMAZING. He was so dedicated that he studied animals' behaviors/movements on hunting and "translated" them to himself. I always hear a lot of legends who worked out/trained more than everyone else, but it's truly something spectacular when someone studies the fastest, most cunning animals to use their techniques. Simply amazing. RIP Mamba
Because of Kobe every time I want to recreate that not flinching play
I was genuinely heart broken when I heard that he and his daughter passed away Kobe was an icon in my youth and I grew up watching him from High School to his last NBA game He was essentially MJ for me, as I didn't get to see MJ in his prime Still to this day I can't believe he isn't with us anymore, but gosh darn we were blessed with a one of a kind talent RIP Kobe
Rip Kobe😭🥶💪🏿
Kobe Bryant came the absolute closest to answering the question of who's next after Michael Jordan? Bryant is the second greatest SG of all time. Bryant is a brilliant player in his own right, but to want and thrive under the pressure of being compared to Jordan is in itself a feat. Had Bryant been alive today, there is no question in my mind he would be coaching the Sparks and eventually his WNBA bound daughter.
One thing about it Kobe delivered every time
I love Kobe so much man. He’s the reason I feel in love wit the game, I herd he’s been shooting with his left since 6 so I developed a left handed shot just to be more like him, it still hurts and I’m deadass crying while writing this, Rip Kobe Bean Bryant

Oh, the conversations to come my friend.
It’s truly amazing, I mean the work ethic that he put it is so translatable to anything else. It just goes to show that if you put enough work and effort into something you can be great
Kobe has always been a really solid player. Respect him for that!
Kobe = Legend
wow
Well-constructed piece!
Mamba forever💜💛
An underrated story is the 2008 Olympics preparation camp. The goal was simple for Bosh. He wanted to set himself up as a young leader so he got to breakfast first. Only he wasn't first. Kobe was there, already worked up a sweat. Bosh would later tell this at his Hall of Fame speech. He hadn't made the play-offs. Kobe was fresh off a Celtics humiliation. Legends aren't defined by their successes, but how they bounce back from their failures.
Thank you for this masterpiece 💜💛
There will never be another player with this sort of toughness and drive, especially with the way the game has softened
mamba mentality means to be the best version of yourself
One of my favorite players.
Kobe and Gianna forever.
I, like millions of others, still miss Kobe Bean Bryant. RIP Mamba!
He just wanted to win and be the best player he could. His last game is really memorable and is a good representation of who and what he gave to the game. Was fun to watch. Great video
we must never forget Kobe, he was mythical
Happy birthday legend ❤
And this is why if anyone apart from Jordan is the G.O.A.T has to be Kobe!
Rest in peace legend always in our hearts mamba 🕊🥰♥️🐍🧿🍀🏀🙏🧪🚵✊
Guy was a machine, few people really possess that ability.
So sad gone way too soon rip Kobe

RIP Kobe...
what a great video! love it bro. keep it up
Awesome video, love that the end added what he does after retiring... Cause seriously, I was impressed and thought he was becoming genius level how he motivated his daughter and girls basketball, the books, the mamba mentality and overall philosophy...
Man Kobe if you’re reading this I really had love for you my brother. Your zeal and perseverance continue to help motivate me today. You are a warrior my friend.

RIP Kobe. To me he’ll forever be the GOAT
Rip Kobe. Rip Gigi ❤️

Love this channel
He is not only a player he is emotion 😞😭
Kobe is the goat
Kobe’s work ethic inspired me. But I wish he knew how to chill sometimes. If he knew how to reserve himself his career would’ve looked better then it already was. But what made Kobe who he was, was his legendary work ethic. He needed somebody to force him to rest up sometimes. But he can always say he worked as hard as he possibly could. Nobody can take that away from him.
My favorite Kobe play will always be when Kobe dunked on Josh smith (he was in ATL).
This channel narrates basketball so good and u can't help but watch it's interesting how the story telling is done thank you N.S keep going
Top 10 Greatest of all Time. Rip Kobe

My favorite was the 360 helicopter 🚁 move he did back in 2020.
Eye watering.
Kobe was the embodiment of Basketball imo. Who else works as hard as him

I wish I would have appreciated him more when he was still here. RIP Mamba. Your life lessons will keep your spirit alive.

Kobe did not just so much for the game but In life growing up I hated the lakers cause they kept winning but no matter the difference Kobe hit different for me for some reason and now I know years down the line with that reason is he defined greatness and not just being a basketball player but a human being and he deserves all the credit in the world for what he’s brought to the game now and beyond Rest up Legend 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
