Will we get a fair opposing trailer for the British Armed Forces Side Defending the Falklanders from the invasion? Y lo epico es que si paso Durante el conflicto de Malvinas esta documentado por el piloto tanto argentino y inglés que vivieron ese momento no llegaron a ver combate ese dia los aviones argentinos en lo mas alto eran superiores y los harrier en la parte baja tenian ventaja asi que ninguno se arriesgo a pelear estando en desventaja por mas armamento que hubiera

An extra fact, military together with a university here, made studies and came to the conclusion that to avoid the radars of the ships they had to fly below 10 meters, the radars detected them at 50 km but with this they shortened the gap to 20 km, for that distance the missiles could not fix and target the Argentine aircraft, the problem is that most of the A4 at that time did not have radio altimeter so they had to use the eye to calculate the height. If anyone wants to see the Malvinas air conflict from the Argentine side I recommend "1982 Malvinas la guerra desde el aire".

Although Im brazilian, my father was an argentinian paratrooper during the malvinas time and the army civil war that happened shortly after. He fortunately never entered combat, but he always told me of the bravery of the argentinian pilots, who while using old jets managed to create and invent tactics to decieve the eletronics and radars and thus sink the technologically advanced british ships. Also of the mercy and respect both aides had to the other, like how after crashing an enemy harrier the argentinians went searching to rescue the pilot and once found him dead they made a burial and a mass in his honour. Too much copy paste, might be better of as a sub tree implementation like Benelux (except rather than copy pasting the copy pastes, only add the unique vehicles to the sub tree, there’s enough of them to fill a line or two.) Israel’s a good choice for that, given their relations and vehicle upgrades and weapons supplying them.

¡Gracias War Thunder! Y a las personas que comentan el post, creo que nos estamos olvidando de algo importantísimo. Este video conmemora a los veteranos, justo de este lado, nosotros los argentinos. Pero los veteranos de Malvinas son todos aquellos que fueron a combatir. Y como el mismo video dice "¿Si tuvieras que volver a luchar, lo harías?" Contesta "Desearía nunca más volver a tirar contra un ser humano". Ese es el mensaje muchachos. Tuve el honor de hablar con varios veteranos de Malvinas y el relato es increíblemente el mismo del video, está muy bien logrado. Quizá no sea en todos los casos la misma respuesta, obvio! Pero si la mayoría... Muchos de ellos se han hecho amigos de ingleses y visitan Inglaterra. ¡Qué vamos a decir nosotros! Queriendo generar conflicto en una publicación de Internet ¿Cuando los mismos VETERANOS se hicieron amigos? Aquellos que pasaron frío, hambre, dolor y la pena de perder a sus camaradas e infinitos dolores más... Me duele todavía más que la pelea sea con hermanos de nuestra sudamérica. Acuérdense que quienes nos hicieron libres fueron Simón Bolivar y San Martín que juntos lucharon para que nosotros tengamos nuestra propia bandera. No peleemos entre nosotros. Gracias por leer :)

estoy de acuerdo, me molesta la situacion malvinas pero no odio a los ingleses y mientras los veteranos de ambos bandos se hicieron amigos nosotros la poblacion de ambas naciones seguimos peleadas y con rencor mutuo lo que me parece absurdo siendo que ya pasaron 42 años y el pais a tratado de redimirse como ah podido me gustaria que ambos paises hagan borron y cuenta nueva sobretodo ahora que tenemos un gobierno pro occidental pero siguen pensando en que somos mala gente

Fun fact, War Thunder used to do historical event battles, as if you were taking part in that battle. But that's been gone for years.

This is really cool. I'm a brazilian, and Brazil and Argentina has a love/hate relationship, but this initiative to make sub-trees more relevant is essential to the game moving forward I feel. And this also means videos from the perspective of minor trees like his is a step in the right direction.

@@rosehip9400 I'm aware, we learn about it in school. It's a complicated matter, to my knowledge mostly was their CIA induced military junta trying to regain public support and they believ the US would back them pressuring UK to not send an armada to take the islands back, but discovered a bit too late the US wouldn't waste their influence with an european country to protect one of their south america pet dictatorships. Being this the case or not, I really prefer not to have wars close to my own country, so hopefully in the future my neighbors prefer diplomatic solutions. I like wars in videogames, IRL they are just disgraceful.

Al pampa no lo van a meter ni ahi, lleva bombas de maximo 250kg y un contenedor de cañon de 30mm. No es un avion hecho para el combate, esta diseñado para entrenar pilotos y adaptarlos a la mayor cantidad de aviones posibles

​​@@agustinm8230flaco metieron un Jet de entrenamiento miserable de Australia que solo tiene ametralladoras de 7.62 que disparan porotos. Si metieron eso tranquilamente pueden meter el Pampa (además de que metieron también los Alpha jets)

In the Malvinas, the English navy used 2 types of missiles, the Seawolf for low altitude, and the Sea Dart for greater distance/height. Different frigates had these types of missiles, which is why the ships in the Malvinas were always in pairs. And remember: Did you angle today ?

It must be one of the "Type 42" destroyers, and speaking of historical terms, it is probably HMS Glasgow, that destroyer was attacked by 1 plane

Possible a stand in for the Type 42 destroyer; possible representing the HMS Coventry, which was sunk by pair of A-4s dropping bombs.

I remember watching a documentary about the Falkland Islands war back in the late 1980's. In the documentary, an Argentinian pilot was asked about the best weapon of the war. The pilot stated it was the British AIM-9L. Very powerful, and moving trailer.

You know, we had no alert system, so the AIM were visible only by eye or by feeling the sweet touch of death, still, our pilots still flown almost 2 hours from the continent to the islands just to have a 5 minute attack window

Es un juego de guerra de aviones, tanque y barcos de combate. el juego no me termino de enganchar pero a mi viejo se lo baje un dia y no hay noche que no se la pase jugando y eso que tiene 55 años
