Come on gaijin, Russia was a big part of ww2 but still they only defeated the German due to the harsh conditions... You shouldn't make Russia as op as they are! I mean the ones who deserve "the most honour/attention" are Brits and French! You where power full and shit, so was the US... But who were the ones declaring war on Germany? And why are the us given so much credit in ww2 even though they didnt do anything else than shit? The empire sent more than the US...Britain on its own sent more men the US the Powerful and mighty america didn't help out until much later! Who was bombed and would never surrender? Who fought in el Alamein for the oil and power in Egypt? Who actually won the war? Britain and Russia not US... And now back too you: Russia was great Russia was big, but that's no reason for such patriotism... You should base everything on historical facts... You may have had the biggest guns, but not the tactics the Germans had... We Brits may have not have the best infantry or soldiers, but the courage to die for freedom, to starve for freedom, to be bombed for freedom, the Americans had numbers and material, but never actually had to face any danger. Japanese could have one the war against the US quite easily, if the would have had more luck, so, you cannot integrate the courage to die for freedom and crown, but you could balance it a bit more or just make the "traits" more specialised, I love the game and how it works, but matchmaking, traits and many other things need more work, we Brits haven't got tanks in game, but there for "more" planes, that aren't "as good". Our navy should rock, don't make the Americans or the Russians OP make the Japanese and British ships very good as trade of for the tanks!

I still can't believe the quality of this video. This came out almost 10 years ago and it has better cinematics then some of the latest marvel movies.

Those, who disagree with the main role of USSR in WWII, can think whatever they want. No other country influenced the course of the war this much. And for Soviet people (not only Russians, there were a lot more nations) that was the war for existence. People struggled with the enemy for their freedom, freedom of their Motherland and future generation's. I can't watch such movies, or read about the war without tears because I fucking understand what was happened back then and what the Victory has given to us all. The memory of this war is holy, as well as people's sacrifice of their lifes. And as much as I realize this, I can't understand americans and their slogans. Why some of them deny the importance of Soviet role and blame such movies in 'propoganda'. This isn't propoganda, this is fucking truth. How people were fighting, what their everyday life during all those 1418 days and night was like. It was their land. But when I hear about 'fighters for da freedom of US', who were fighting (and still fight) on the other side of the planet, it confuses me. I don't deny the meaning of the Pacific front for the end of the war. But, you know, that was a different war. Also, Japan was nearly capitulating, when nuclear bombs were thrown off on the heads of the innocent people. This is a giant shame for US, that continues bombing people which are 6.000 or 15.000 km away from its borders. SO who even are you to judge our victory, the war and Soviet role in it?

Only after half a month USSR entered Poland and returned the territories that we've lost in 1919 year after Poland's invasion (Western Ukraine and Belarus. There were massive repressions of the local population by Poland). At the time Poland government had fled to Romania, so the country ceased to exist and we had every reasons to return our borders which were much farther away from Moscow. Enough of that 'poor Poland' thing alright? Stop falsifications. Better tell be about 'Phoney War' ok?

My girlfriend is Russian and her grandad fought in Stalingrad and the pincer movement which destroyed the Reich on the eastern front. He’s still got his bottle and if age didn’t restrict him he’d show the thugs these days how weak they are. It was humbling to meet him.

my great grandad also fought in Stalingrad he died due to trying to pull a fellow solider into cover but due to that hero action he managed to make that young boy to see his mom and dad even if it meant he wouldn't be able to see his wife and child ever again God bless him for being a guarding angel for that young man he is a hero. his brother made it to Berlin but he died by getting shot at he managed to survive the first and the second and the third but not the forth but he did this only to save two young men pulling tankers out of their T 34 and pulling them back to cover so they are both heroes edit: dis is a story that my uncle told me

8 years later still waiting for that infantry mode I know enlisted exists but i want it in war thunder

I watched this for the first time in 2016 when I started playing. 7 years later it is still fantastic.

I wonder if the creators of War Thunder ever thought of actually making a movie for theaters. Amazing visuals, amazing music, and amazing story line would make them Oscar Award Winners in a heart beat. Even this small video with no words just music and visuals is better than all modern movies. You can compare this it Saints and Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, and other classical war movies.

Мой прапрадед был красноармейцем (по званию) он был артиллеристом, наводчиком. Пришёл на фронт в 1942г. Прошёл всю войну, вернулся с тяжёлым ранением. Мой брат прадеда был младшим лейтенантом, пограничником. Первый (в 1941г.) встретил немцев с финами на Ленинградском фронте. Обошёл незаметно со своими солдатами в тыл врага и штыковой атакой прижал их к озеру и разгромил. Получил тяжёлое ранение в ногу (к сожалению не знаю какую) лежал в госпитале и... ампутировали😭🤕. Но вернулся домой ГЕРОЕМ. Вечная память павшим, вечная слава живым.

Шел 2018, я все еще смотрю..

This is easily one of the greatest game trailers I have ever seen. It almost brought tears to my eyes. I have such a great respect for the Russian soldiers who fought and died in defense of their homeland and people whom the Nazi cowards were slaughtering. Without their sacrifice this war would certainly have been won by those Axis bastards.

I pretty much have no idea what the hell you are talking about and maybe rephrasing it would make it easier for me to reply. However, what I think you are trying to get across is that I speak too much of rape which is false. Rape is quite a relevant topic especially in World War II. I personally find it a very cowardly and heinous crime and those who commit it should be disposed of in an unpleasant manner. During World War II and every other war of all time this crime was committed and by both sides yet it seems nobody ever wants to talk about the darker side of war especially if it is the dark side of the Allies. And the Russian army was known to commit mass rape to pretty much everyone including Russian women they liberated. I simply believe we need to remember all that happened during war so we do not remain ignorant. If we forget the past we will make the same mistakes again in the future. So I would like to ask if you are a fucking idiot as your statement radiates ignorance and idiocy. I strongly dislike retards like you who don't understand or care about the past and the things that happened to real people, and then go and make moronic statements. I hope this message gets through your thick ass skull however I have had a great amount of experience dealing with morons and I assume your response will be some petty insult because you are too arrogant or just plainly too stupid to comprehend what I am saying.

И я читал,что ваши Шерманы состояли на вооружении Красной армии.Советы хвалили их,мол: Быстрые,манёвренные,но их противотанковые ружья пробивали. Хотя я сомневаюсь,что пуля противотанкового ружья пробьёт броню самого танка.Может ранние,такие как М1,МС-1 и пробьёт.Но по моему из ружей по гусеницам стреляли.
