Remember when in personalized battles we all see f-86 and mig-15 doing dogfight or going at max speed over the map, it was 2013 when i start playing and i thought, one day i'll be there, that day was in 2018 and it was one of my favorite gaming moment, finally get's my f-86 sabre, the first thing i would to do was go in a personalized battles, but there were plane that reached a speed of mach 2 so i realized that my f-86 it was old and slow, in that moment i felt sadness but proud, this game give me a lot of good experience, i have met a lot of good people. This game is on the top of my tier list of game. Today is 25/08/20 and i remember when my father say's " come to see how good this game is", it was january 2013... 7 years ago... Bring me back to the old and good days Thank you War Thunder. Guys i did it, i became a pilot for the italian air force, a dream come true and this game was part of this dream.

Seen the news of the 10th anniversary of the game and while I don't play the game anymore, I was reminded of this trailer and had to see it again. At that range that is debatable. The 75mm equipped Shermans can cut through the Tigers frontal armor short-medium ranges, if there is a 76mm equipped Shermans in the group it would be able to cut through the Tigers armor at virtually any engagement range. The Tiger doesn't need to be penetrated to be knocked out either, a 75mm AP Shell could take out the optics, tracks, gun barrel, etc, which would likely cause the crew to bail out or force the tank to withdraw. The myth that the Sherman is a bad tank is flat out wrong, quite the opposite actually. It is widely considered to be the best tank of the war, being the perfect combination of speed, mobility, firepower, reliability, and cost.

i think that groundforces will make people appreciate aviation more because other planes look so un-amusing from the air but if ur in a tank and u see a spitfire or a p51 or a 109 go screeching over ur head at 250mph it will be so amazing.

Definitely a Deutschland class battlecruiser with the turret arrangement. It probably was the Admiral Scheer seeing as how it was sunk by bombs, but it was sunk by Lancasters toting tallboys and not by Mitchells.

It was an alpha test for the navies in general. They were not only testing it for the low teir ships (or 18th century ones). I'm pretty sure they'll be adding WW2 ones cuz well, the vehicles of the game is generally from WW2.

Steve Steveson Everybody in the German armed forces were not evil, but they were certainly fighting for an evil cause. Plus, it's a matter of history that the German navy was the least Nazi-fied of the armed forces. The Luftwaffe, the most. But it is easy to go too far too...the German army soldiers have a well-earned reputation for committing atrocities against Soviet POWs and civilians, Nazi and non-Nazi alike.

depends. in nazi germany the older veterans (30+) didn't even want this war and were following orders just so the SS won't shoot them. the younger soldiers (14-twenty something) were raised by the army and brainwashed for fighting and killing. the funny thing is the veterans fought well while the youngs just died or surrendered all the time.

Well, I think gaijin’s vision for war thunder WAS enlisted. But in recent years they have realized how far war thunder is from a FPS and opted to make a whole different game instead of reworking war thunder into a completely different game

It would be cool if instead of doing it in a strategic map that you actually have to fly around the world I mean I know it sounds ridiculously crazy but being able to travel the world in a plane,cruiser,or tank would be cool.You can be in the U.S and then you get an objective to go all the way to northern Africa then you have to get on a transport plane or a ship to get there on top of if you're in one of the two there is the chance that the boat you're hitching a ride in can get sunk,maybe your on a amphibious landing craft and you just landed on Normandy or that the plane you parked your vehicle in can get shot into the ground and maybe you survive if the plane was for some reason close to the ground. I'm crazy like this but I personally think that a PS2 type style would fit in.

Now imagine a movie with that quality, it would render long as hell but it would be so AWESOME!

DUDE this animation is awesome but movies animation is better not even battlefield4 have the graphics of this trailer want to know why ? pretty simple render a movie takes more time than better the graphics but to download is pretty fast because you re not renderizing what you see you re just watching like a photo but games didnt reached such a graphic because they would need a computer with 4 intel core i7 quad core 3.40 2 gtx 780 64 gb of ram and the best motherboard of the earth to play a game with that graphic in 30 fps

A few months ago, when i saw the thumbnail i thought it was another midway (2019) clip until i watched it now and i had no regrets, i loved it. Thank you gaijin entertainment.

dn't really hit me until now 2:15 Dude standing on the back of the Sherman is a fucking badass. Machine gun fire everywhere, staring down Tigers, and hell there are even ships in the harbor. Just standing outside of the tank taking potshots at people, completely exposed.

(though there is one this I am a nerd for, BF109s. did you notice that the one in the video is a extremely obscure BF109 G-2 Trop (tropical)? check out the crazy engine air intake guard which was only on this singular variant!. (the two-tone brown and light blue was also Trop exclusive)

The fact that this is 9 years ago amazes me how this trailer is that old but looks new.

They have stated that it would be no problem to increase amount of players in a game technically, but that they fear that an individual player would have to little impact on the result. But who knows, maybe we will see it when fleet are implemented

agaronek More players would be interesting, but for the arena modes we have today I think they would not matter much and would make the matches drag for more time. Maybe for the WW mode having more players being able to take part would be more meaningful, but we really dont have much detail regarding how that will play out, if it will be a wot like arena (hope not) or something more alike battleground europe, wich portraits a persistent battleground.
