Also what i think is funny is how in real life you would be in prison for a decade before they executed you and it seems like they just speed ran moleman thru the system.

I always love the detail that when he first appeared, Matt Groening hated Moleman. He specifically ordered the team of animators to get rid of him. And then because they thought it was funny they kept using him. And he ended up being one of the shows most iconic characters

I love how in the drinking scene the camera was aimed above Hans expecting him to be in the shot, but when he stood up they had to pan it down. It’s such a simple joke, but it’s great.

4:52 - My favorite Simpsons moment ever was later in this episode when someone else wins the Film Festival by a near identical clip to Moleman's except I think it's John Madden or something and he screams at the top of his lungs when he gets hit.
