Discovered this mix right before my cat died in April 2022. The day after he died I was riding my bike, thinking about him, flying down a mountain road here in Vancouver. Trees and cold spring mountain air rushing by, the piano around 18:20 came in. Right then it felt like, somehow, he was there with me. I'll never forget that moment. Rest well my sweet Kramer boy 🙏

literally music from outer space.
I’m new to this genre, it reminds me a lot of Osamu Sato’s work on LSD Dream Emulator. It’s like exploring a new world for the first time, trying to gauge the rhythm and feeling where the song wants to take you. It’s almost mind numbing how immersive it is.

the relatively high fidelity really makes this genre so much more pleasant ... the kids are making proper beats :)

Top notch mix for a decompression shower. Ran that thing till the water was cold.
What I love about the visualizer is that the slight compression or resolution errors or whatever it is, makes the still part of the video twitch ever so slightly, and for some reason that makes the scenario SO much more immersive. I can literally see myself in that plane metallic expanse, large and flat as far the eye can see, a little reflective I imagine because of rain despite the crystal clear skies, with a small pyramid and a large orb floating mysteriously. This playlist, this feeling that drum and bass emits, brings me there like nothing else
