In my opinion, Unreal 1998 has got the most atmospheric soundtrack i have ever heard in a video game, I remember playing the game in 1998 and getting blown away by the graphics, incredibly open levels and environment (unlike Half Life which was released in the same year), and my god, the optimalization for the year was seriously Unreal, because just with a Software Rendering and slow PC even for it's time, the game was smooth af. Unreal 1998 and Unreal Tournament are the best games I have ever played. Unreal 1998 has got the best story from all late 90s FPS games, and Unreal Tournament 99 got the best gameplay. This brings back such powerful waves of childhood nostalgia! I can vividly remember those afternoons in 1st grade, rushing home from school and eagerly firing up my trusty PS1. The cherry on top was the small CRT TV, accompanied by a pair of headphones, a relic from some economy flight of a long-forgotten airline. That whisked me away into a world of immersive jungle music and gaming adventures. Those were the days when time seemed to stand still, and the joy of playing on that old console was pure magic.

Thank you so much for making this mix!
Thanks for the Ridge Racer. I’ll never forget putting it into my mom’s stereo and listening to the tracks in 1999. Mind was blown.
Wow I’ve finally found the genre of music I’ve been trying to describe and search for, for months
Any time I have any doubt, music like this just reminds me I can have a good time no matter what.
This was a video I didn't know I needed until now ❤
Thank you, this mix bought me back to jungle.
This shit low key straight fire. I’m only familiar with Ridge Racer, SF3 and Bomberman, but this music makes me want to be born back when the PS1 was prevalent
You can tell this was a labour of love. Really great selection to jam to 💜
The sound, rhythm, beats, and flow is pure magic to my ears. Thanks for this!
this is trucking clean and pristine
i didn't had a lot of money growing up, so I only asked my parents for the PlayStation magazine every month. The girl in the thumbnail was on the cover of one PS magazine, and I was in love with her for a long time lol seeing this thumbnail just now got to my childhood feelings 🤣🤣

We didn't know how good we had it.
This mix rocks! Well done.
12:28 I remember so many great memories with my older brother, cousins, and friends. I still do couch gaming from time to time, but it’s mostly done online nowadays 😢
Rage racer and ridge racer soundtracks are always immaculate. I was obsessed with Japanese techno and house for a while. This reminds me to delve into finding more new music!
This is a fantastic mix , thank you so much for publishing/uploading this

Thanks for the support brother ❤️
Man hearing bomberman and R4 ost made me realize how much i love that style, so chill and relaxed and yet active at same time. I recall how i loved to play random races in R4 and 90% of times i would play "quiet curves". Makes sense i would get so hype by Persona 3 music and then move into Nujabes, and chill hop music eventually. This list is awesome.
Wow, I'm crying now, with these sounds I remember many things from my childhood
fabulous compilation. i didn't even realize this was a genre, just recognized a lot of tracks from games i used to play and it's interesting they 'belong' together like this!
love this! thaNKS
Beautiful mix, bruv! We definitely lived during a great time for video games and music!
When I was way younger I remember renting Ridge Racer for the PS and loving the soundtrack. Old man me went looking for the music but couldn't remember enough to track it down. It was this one. Thank you!
Full on nostalgia overflow at 36:05! Such happy memories! ❤
I don’t even remember hearing much of this as a child but I feel so much nostalgia listening to this. It’s crazy

Thanks bro, totally agreed ❤️
First track is so good, I have it on repeat constantly.
I forgot about Jungle until I stumbled onto this mix, and it was like falling in love all over again. Deep diving the rest of this mix series!
No Return is an absolute BANGER. Takes me back to my clubbing days in the early 2000's. Fantastic mix!
