Is that wood texture procedural using the object coordinates?

Yes, it's procedural and it uses the Texture Space settings which is set the same for each piece for consistent application. In the texture node setup I used Generated as the mapping mode. I can do a video on it if you want to see it.

0:41 Isolation mode by Question mark? Local View is Number Pad /. Even double checked in case it was some other way and ? does nothing. 5:06 None of it is a Buttress Sticking up bits are Merlons. Gaps between them are Crenels or Embrasures. The whole thing is a Battlement.

On a MacBook Pro laptop, 'local view/isolation mode' (whatever you want to call it), is the ?/ key, which is a single key on the keyboard.

@@christopher3d475 Ok thanks. Hardly anyone uses Macs and I am surprised it has not cropped up in other tutorials in the usual Option/Alt type mention. Is that a laptop with no numberpad? Again never used a laptop, (horrid things LOL) so perhaps it is some different keymap used for that?
