excellent tutorial indeed with a great amount of detailed tutoring.
Really detailed tutorial, it was very helpful because normally I do things like spending ages trying to get rid of the triangles because I thought it needed to be all in quads. The only thing I noticed is that at 11:15 you can use the edge slide tool with auto merge turned on alternatively to just speed up the process a bit!
Great tutorial! Also, at 12:09 you don't have to add the merge option to Favorites, you can press ,,M" key and the merge menu will pop up with all the merge options.
Excellent work, you are a creative artist
Hey Christopher, thank you very much for all your tutorials. they are very well made and easy to follow. greetings from germany, christoph
Hey Chris, "M" key brings up the merge( weld ) menu on it's own!
21:03 why is your selection kind of see-through? I mean that bleeding of the orange into the mesh.

I'm not sure, they made changes to the MacOS Metal display back in 3.5 or 3.6 and it began doing that.

Thanks. Was hoping it was an option. It seems useful to know your selection goes beyond that edge without going full x-ray.

People didn't come to this channel to learn CAD, they came to learn Blender's modeling tools.

@@christopher3d475 Anyway. You want to take a look into Plasticity. With Plasticity parasolid modeling is a blast and it's the best friend for Blender.
Yehhh but if you lose one bishop then the other is useless on it's own....! Chess PTSD.
