You have the clearest and best video presentations. Wish more youtubers can learn from you. I love the MPG feature as my truck doesn't get the best mileage and it helps me ease off on the gas. I do miss the transmission temperature as it only gives water temp. I added a separate transmission monitor as I pull an RV occasionally.

I got mine in the post today and watched this video before installing it. Great video, thanks. You can also move the little wheel at the back and change the main screen so if you want large digital speedo and tach/voltage instead of coolant temperature it's easy. Also mine has another main display mode note shown here.

Great review and video. I placed my HUD just to the right of the instrument housing on the dash board. The cable i concealed under the A pillar trim.

What I saw in many ads about this product is it has been announced as s a head-up display and it is not. It's a little screen where data are presented exactly what I'm searching for. I don't want a head-up display. Thank you very much for your time and for sharing this.

Great review, very helpful. You showed me what I wanted to know about this unit. I've already ordered one, but I'm trying out several other models & styles too. This one looks like a winner, and it updates its MPH reading more often than others I've seen -- just about right. Some were just too slow, and I don't want 'frantic' either. I had a 2006 Civic for 12 years, and I loved the 2-tiered dash with the digital speedometer at comfortable eye level; I could watch my speed without ever taking my eyes off the road, which was perfect. Just a wonderful design. Unfortunately, new Civics don't have this design anymore and I needed a new car. This device will give me back at least most of that feature with the Mazda 3 I purchased. Since this doesn't actually reflect the data onto the windshield, should it really be considered a HUD? (I've also seen this exact critter under the brand name of "VCARJOY".)

I bought one of these but when i connect it to my 04 navigator it just says connecting and turns off after a while. I put in a normal reader and it works no problem

Two questions Do unit drain battery extra when connected to obd2 ? (car locked and everything off) Second: If you remove P10 unit from a car - settings will stay or not when you reconnect after one hour ?

Does this require a good speed sensor? My speed sensor went out and in trying to use soemthing like this for now

I Bought this in the UK for £18.99. I have to say this is one of best head up displays I have ever bought. The quality of the product is amazing. Also the set up is so so easy I'm going to buy another one to keep as spare

Not sure if I recall your intro correctly, but, I think I saw "mph" being displayed at the main screen, yet, at the live data page there was the km/h... and so was when you did the speed test in km/h...

Yes on the main speed display, you can choose between MPH and KMPH, but in other menu screens, it only displays kmph.

hmmmm, not crazy about that feature. Will you be testing more? I'd rather get one that allows mph on all speed displays.

I've been looking for a review where they have one of these P10 HUD models installed CLEAN without a wire hanging like that. In essence, installed all the way FLUSH against the windshield with the OBDII wire hidden thru the back where you see nothing but the unit lit up with NO WIRES... I have a 2012 Lexus LS 460 and a 2017 Accord Touring and I'd like to get it for both, but to install them flush and clean... I have yet to see an installation like that on youtube. Why do so many people put it so close to the front? and let a wire hang?

Kindly can someone mention the units in which fuel consumption is measured? the letter that appear next to the numerical value is either 'L' or 'G'; suppose it should be for 'Litres' and 'Gallons', but can not guess the time unit, is it 'per minute', 'per hour', or something else? Thanks all!

This does not display fuel level. As for fuel consumption, it all depends if your OBD port in your car is able to report that data.

There is no correlation of displacement to odb2 diagnosis plug, is your car build after 2006 and feature the oidb2 connector in the driver footwell?

It all depends if your vehicle supports that data to show fuel consumption. If your OBD port does not have that data, then it will not show it.

I suppose to go downwards in % step by step until it fits.

I thought hud's are the ones that reflect on your windshield. This is kinda dumb unless you have an old car that the gauges are not working, otherwise just use the one in your car.

How to set avarage fuel comsumtion?

I can estimate that - because the hud auto switch off (after you switch off the engine) - the answer is no

What does Distance (DTCs) mean?

This will look nice with a dash cover to hide the cables and then just cut a hole for this.

I had that error first time i plugged it into my hybrid, i plugged in the power cable a second time and it booted normally afterwards.

You censored this video and I don't understand why! The first time when the plug is inserted into the obd plug, an image appears that reads: SMART DIGITAL METER and below it in smaller green letters: Connecting, and also at the top right it says the software version which may be V03.06 or V03,11.

Mine says it connected then it shuts off why??

Your car might not be compatible

Mine arrived a few days ago, purchased through AliBaba, and it has a problem. The photocell has no effect on brightness; it's always dim. So -- it's OK at night; the brightness is just right for night driving. In daylight, no such luck. If it's overcast, I can see the speedo digits, but not well. In sunlight, I can't see much of anything. I contacted the seller about a refund or exchange, and we'll see what it's like to deal with them. Pretty disappointing.
