I will give you an advice . After you stick the reflector to the windscreen it will be more easy to position the unit below the reflector if you power it on , so you can see if the image fits correctly on the reflector :)

Thanks for this video! I installed mine in about 15 minutes. I didn't use the reflective sheet as I can see it fairly clearly without. Hard to read the menu number upside down. I am still tweaking the various modes, but overall, a nice little well made unit with vital information displayed. My car has neither an RPM gauge, a water temperature gauge or a voltage meter on the dash. In the garage, the display is bright, but not overly so. Thanks again for providing this video. Much appreciated!!!

Nice video, very informative. I would also add that the device in this video, is clearly set with the left hand drive market in mind. This is evident from the input being placed only on the left. If installed in a right hand drive vehicle the lead will exit to the centre of the dash rather than towards the ‘A’ pillar.

Very good video. My only criticism is that it appears you installed the windshield film oriented horizontally but my film came with labels that clearly says to apply it vertically. In fact, if I had applied it as you did I would not be able to get the full display to reflect onto the film and I think that it shows in your video as it appears the bottom of your display is not projected on the film but rather on your windshield glass....If you look carefully at the reflected display it fits the width of the film only when the film is applied vertically. This allows drivers of different heights to see the reflected display from different points of view.

I like the engine over temperature alarm although I don't know what the set-point is (wish I did) and don't like that I cant change the set-point. I like knowing what my engine temperature is and my speed. The engine RPM over-speed alarm, and MPH display are good features IMO. I don't give a shit what my instantaneous fuel consumption is, and I think the fuel consumption calculation slows down the MPH and other data updates. I would like to turn the fuel consumption calculation off but cant so I covered it with black electrical tape. Also I covered the meaningless shit on the bottom right with electrical tape.

You can get a great picture on the windshield by making a "rectangle" with some very very light tiny or mirrored tint that is very transparent, if you cant find the light mirrored you can find it in the rolls that go lighter as they go to the top of the side window. You can barely see it on the windshield but it makes the image so clear and bright even in the daytime which is the best benefit of it.

First, congrats for be able to read that indecipherable users manual. Your instructions were very useful in helping me set up the device. I disabled most of the display that I didn't need, such as the water temp, fuel consumption, etc. I use only the tach and speedometer. I also set up the tach over rev warning. I've been able to dial in the speedometer, dropping it by 2 points to get it close enough for what I needed it to display.

if you have an obd2 car then you are going to have a speed sensor of some sort so the computer knows what is going on with your car. That doesn't really have anything to do with your cable driven speedometer.

Any idea?

+Voka Duss Try other settings for 13 - Reference fuel consumption and 14 - Air displacement setting. I'he had same problem but after changing above settings to 13=30 and 14=1 it works. Please remember these settings are specific for my vehicle, for other vehicles you might use other settings.

Yes, menu items 3, 4, 5, and 6 control the alarms on the unit. You'll need to consult your manual to determine which values would turn the alarm off.

For the functionality, size, and information it provides 10 dollars is a slap in it's face. I paid 30 which is about where it should be. As far as hidden, it's black and sits low on your dash. Not very noticeable when you have it tucked in the corner.

I was extremely excited about using his product. Be advised the weather could possibly damage the unit. It got a bit cold where I live in Tx and the unit crapped out on me. The settings changed on their own and also he unit would stay on after the vehicle was turned off draining battery from the car. It was fun for while it lasted. Not worth the money.

This has a very good purpose for driving instructors to help monitor their students speed. Average has no need like most of the posters here. Everything in this world is good if applied correctly. And thieves take everything of value, don't live ur life afraid of them or u will become ill or one of them.
