Imagine putting the reflective shield on a Monitor. It would solo half a fleet by itself.

I feel like you shouldn't be able to shoot while using reflective shield otherwise it would be kinda op love the weapons!

That's the point of the mod, blatantly op yet super fun weapons. It's a shame the guy didn't show the BFG, put 4 of those on a paragon and you have the definition of "weapon of mass destruction"

Whole fleet has built-in Solar Shields, it'll be fine. You can chill inside a black hole and lose zero CR with that

Seeems fun. Anything that shred shield effectively are my favourite. Sadly my graphic card died and i cant change it in near future. So no starsector for a while. More mods showcases please

You should have shown the Photon Lens, pretty flux efficient and practical. Ever since I put 2 of them on my Ziggurat even Redacted become easy. PEW! Even works great with Ai on a Sunder.

Added this mod, went for a couple bounties and then boom, 2 paragon bountie. I thought to myself "Eh, thats easy cash", they both had the plasma storm and reflector shields. I couldn't kill them at all and they we're constantly destroying my XIV fleet. After that I just gave up, reloaded a save and ignored them.

ohno The Electromagnetic Railgun have a lot of potential.

I can testify, they are turbo busted. Shields? Goes right through them. Anything smaller than a cruiser? Dead in two shots, one of you're using a pair of them.

My favorite guns are nova defense system and z950 flash They are just too fun, especially when combined. Also you can still find this mod, and it is updated for the current version.

imagine a starsector mod so unbalanced that omega weapons become redundant

I use the MX as the main batteries of my titan

Diable avionics, Siege breaker ship/Malestorm class, plus Plasma Strom and Intergrated targeting, thank me later

It's sad that the AI doesn't have access to these because I would use it if they did. Mods already make you overpowered enough as is

Superweapons are inherently not balanced, that's what makes them memorable and enjoyable. Otherwose all you've got is... A regular weapon.

how does the last shown weapon(shield) works? i mean do you need to "fire" it to activate or they turn on automatically with a standart shield?

You put it on heavy turret slot (doesn't work on heavy hardpoint slot), and it'll convert your shield into reflective shield, which reflects any attack hitting it except energy or missiles. Flux generated depends on the intensity of reflected attack. It's basically a passive buff to your stock shield, and doesn't need to be activated. The module has no effect on efficiency, arc or flux, and it's effect doesn't stack with multiple reflective shield modules

looks nice, but man, its waaaay to op. Game will be waaay too easy once someone get these weapons. They should create maybe 300x flux or eat all the points for ship.

They essentially do. Never once have I overloaded an oddyssey before installing the very secret purple gun on it, now I basically can't go one encounter without running into the issue that I can't fire my weapon or I'll die in this situation.

Oof, apparently this mod was shut down by the starsector forum admins because the author was ripping off other people's sprite work, and lied through their teeth about it when confronted.

U show me SUPERWEAPONS on FALCON AND ATLAS?!?!?!?! Its some kind of the joke? Mb its be better if u shot to.. Empty bottle? Birds? Cockroach?
