I think I'd rather prefer the other way around. Gates open up, and massive invasion fleets pour in. Preferably, with unique designs and weapons - not even necessarily lootable, just make 'em scary, like Stellaris contingencies. This would spice up the late game, alright.

who says it can't be added later. Take it in more directions, "more" is what this mod wants to add, clearly, through gate interaction.

The random system thing is genius. Infinite content for after you're done exploring and exploiting the sector.
Something like this should be added to the release of the game

It follows perfectly on to the talks you have during the story with the head of the hegemony. What will lay in wait beyond the gates?
Idea of mod is great, but implementation... As for now random systems don't delete themselves after player returns to original sector. In the long run this create a problem, where you get missions and even pirate bases located in non-deleted systems very far from the original sector

I've gotten bouties and unique bouties out in the none deleted systems which make it near impossible to use the mod before I'm done with everything else which can be kinda pointless
The problem is that those random systems stack on your file. So after awhile gameplay become buggy and slow

I saw this mod not to long ago and since then I had been trying to find it to install it. luckily the youtube gods blessed me with this video. It looks like a fantastic addition to my scuffed modded starsector playthroughs.
this is a good review, it would be nice if you could do more of these for other mods. thank you very much
don't use this mod in 0.9.5. Game will try to give you a mission in the once visited system or try to spawn a slipstream there which can brick your save. It also doesn't clean up the system you visit so they end up clogging your game.

its a great base model for some rouge-lite play through with futher expansions
Interesting mod but that would be better if the multiple random generated sectors could stay as template so you can revisit them time to time.

make it so that if you have unscan gate left in sector, it will sometimes teleport there.
Looks like something out of Path of Exile. I like it
*spoilers ahead* Out of curiosity can we encounter coronal hypershunts/tesseracts from these expeditions? It would be awesome if this was a way to get more endgame weapons.

If you use Nex, there is an Redacted agent at the Prism Freeport that you can buy the small and medium endgame weapons from once you build some reputation.

does this still work with 0.95.1a-RC6?
Can you encounter a random generated faction? I warp through the gate for dozens time already, all ruins and remant. I checked the mod files and their are data files for generated factions. Maybe there is a way to modifier generation seed, for better chances of new factions?

Well shit. Time to add this to already giant (modded) sector.
I would like that you could Create a whole new way of having offshore colonies where you could sell the rights that other factions could also go through the gate
The Mod Creator said this will break your save atm so don't download it for now
costs ~150k to enter one of these systems. Is it worth the huge expense?

A huge expense? I have 4 fully upgraded colonies and easily get 2 millions monthly. I literally can't spend all that money.

@@imonlyamanandiwilldiesomed4406 I can accept a tiny, almost unnoticeable loss to experience new content. I, actually, suffer much bigger losses by forgetting about entire paragon fleets in my station's dockyards

Cool mod, unfortunately it's incredibly poorly coded and eventually bricks your save.
