You can usually tell when you’re ring gear/pinion is loose,when u back up slow and crank the the wheel tight...it will pop and creek

Future to the Back. Jeep XJ back in her glorious native environment. On another note. For a long belly dragger that Taco did pretty well. Little bit of scraping here and there. Although I do think IFS is a real detriment to driving off road where you need flex. Just happy to see the grey ghost in action. I watched from her infant stage lol. Kinda fond of her

I can't complain, seems to do the job. Just need a solid upper joint because the rubber won't last on one link.

At 15:37, what is all the wetness that appears to be on the inside facing sidewall of the tires? I noticed this earlier as well. New leak, remnants of old, or tire shine? Just curious

Gear oil leaking out of the axle tube I think. I had gear set issues early on with this trip but the details are getting fuzzy now. I think I added more fluid and then it started leaking out.

Gopro 7 has fancy stabilization built in that looks just as good and works anywhere!

dude!! i did this a couple months back steel bender is my favorite trail i did it in a similar size jeep you should definitely check it out
