The ump in that game was calling strikes away at the left side off the plate for everyone that day, and he eventually adjusted.

On the play at 3:36 I was in my room and I hear my dad scream “GET OUT, STAY FAIR, NO! JEEZ!” and I’m like what happened?

I’m glad he got a hit last night. The fans are putting a lot of pressure on him which would have kept building if he had an extended hitless streak. Hopefully the ump today doesn’t hose him on those outside strike calls.

Tigers fan here, this kid has so much hype around him and for obvious reason, his dad was great and i believe he will be too. Seemed like he had a smile on his face all night, so excited for this guy.

The most promising player to come up in a long time. He went 1-4 and the best part of that was no strikeouts. Keep putting the ball in play Jr. and good things will happen.

Poor Pinder, made a great play in a top prospect debut, so it gets overshadowed.

It was acknowledged by both commentators. I think it’s more worthy to note that Vlad Jr hit 2 towards the warning track. His slugging will definitely be lethal and more stronger later on in the season.

With my AL team being the Blue Jays, I’m so happy to see this kid in the majors. He has the potential to become an all star

Usually I love this kind of stuff in sports but on the day of his debut I had put my 15 yr old dog down about half hour before the game started so I couldn't truly enjoy how awesome an atmosphere it was for Vladdy's debut. Thanks for uploading this.

Mayt he is.... But I grew up watching SR. play ball so I'm definitely routing for him. I'm probably biased but I'm ok with it🤷🏾‍♀️

i got to watch vladdy plenty of times in the minors and i could tell that he was gonna be something special i thought the same about bo and biggio as well
