How could Joe Torre be so stupid to think that was a violation? The catcher had the ball so by rule he could be there and the Yankees idiot did not understand the rule. What a joke!

Puig might be the most overrated hot head of all time. What a fake….all he does is strut around and act crazy and tough yet he’s never once acted on it…never throws, because he isnt about what he project

Pitches who throw balls like that are cowards. Maybe if they threw hands they'd have some balls

@18:00 - That wasn't bad umpiring - was a darned good call. The runner never made any effort to get in to the running lane.

If its the one I'm thinking of , he had been in a major slump up to that point , to the point he was getting boo'ed even at home in Philly. But someone put out a video that made the rounds suggesting that instead of boo'ing just give him a standing ovation every time he was up which then lead into the homerun and eventually turned his season around afterward

It’s not just baseball. It’s most sports, NFL, Soccer, etc. All referees and umpires are just insufferable and deserve reprimands for awful calls.

At 2:18 The botched throw to the shortstop to bait the runner on 3rd to go home would be such a good designed play. I’m sure it’s been done before but that’s the first I’ve seen it.

I think he was afraid he was going to take a cleat to the face or jam all of his fingers inside of his wrist because the catcher was so clearly in the way, or his hand would have been on home plate - on top of that, he also got his hand down onto home plate before the tag... these umps said "I'm no longer being paid for my time here" and ended it. Lol I'm a Royals fan. I have no dog in this fight.
