    When you throw equipment, your ejected if the umpire decides that he thinks it’s because your mad at him. They don’t do it if they think they’re mad because they made a mistake that should’ve not happened.

  • @rb3k157

    @rb3k157

    6 жыл бұрын

    Ernest Bywater I’m not trying to “come at you” or anything, but even if Harper has been thrown out for doing stuff like this 20’times in his career is that really that bad seeing as he’s playing 160+ games per year, like 20 angry moments in 500+ games doesn’t seem that bad to me. It’s really not poor sportsmanship it’s more of frustration reaching a boiling point. If you’re in a slump, or your team is underachieving, or if the ump is making bad calls it just gets to be too much, especially for guys that are traveling around the country 160+ days a year

  • @maddieanderson7703

    @rb3k157

    6 жыл бұрын

    maddie andersonn212121 he’s played over 500 games.... if he’s been ejected 10 times that’s really not bad. I’m sure you’d understand why he loses his cool if you were labeled “the next big thing” at age 16 and had the weight of Washington DC on your shoulders. Harper plays 160+ games a year just like these other guys, so if he gets frustrated 2-3 times a year there’s not a damn thing wrong with that. Any player that gets frustrated probably has more going on in their life than any of us every will do there’s not a damn reason non pro athletes should criticize them for it. Also 90% of the guys getting ejected have it happen because they’re passionate, not because they’re “crybabies”

    Yall are saying these guys are immature but when you think about it, when you love the game and are extremely competitive and know youre not playing to your full potential, you'll lose it. Especially if youre not on that game. Or the ump is just giving you all the wrong calls and youre just not having a good night. Not because they are babies. But because they want to perform to their greatest potential

    I agree. The best example is Nolan Arenad. He gets frustrated Bc he play his hardest for a team that doesn’t put their all, and he has to stay on a team that loses any race for the postseason every year. He’s a one man army like Mike Trout.

    Thomas King from an unbiased point of view I think it has a lot to do with the amount of haters he's had from day one and the need to be the best and prove every one of the doubters wrong. When you fuck up or strikeout when it wasn't your fault and you know your gonna get shit about it the pressure can build pretty easily. I don't know the guy though so that's just my take. In my experience the people with the most passion are also the people with the hottest tempers, because the game means so much to you...
