The Bautista revenge with the rangers isn’t in chronological order. He got his ass beat at second base the following year after the bat flip. The punch out at second WAS the revenge.

Creative editing. Show the Bautista getting KTFO by Odor and then show the home run/bat flip like that was Bautista's revenge for getting KTFO. When what really happened was Bautista hit the home run did the bat flip in the playoffs and then at the beginning of the next season, The Rangers hit him in revenge. Then a few pitches later, he does the illegal slide trying to take out Odor and Odor gets revenge with the KTFO.

They just can't stand there, flip the bat, take 30 seconds to round the bases, beat their chests, point at the pitcher... imagine if a pitcher pointed at the hitter, threw his glove up in the air, did a cartwheel, and bowed to the crowd every big strikeout...

Usually the throw is up and in, mostly aiming for the ribs. Pitchers aren't perfect though and a ball will ride up further and sometimes guys get hit in the head. I'm not saying they never aim for the head, because some pitchers are pieces of shit, but it is very rare that a pitcher would aim for someone's head.
