Commentators didn't notice: In game 2, when Sam broke Leo's shield with the Mr. Saturn, the turnip right before that was a Stitch. Sam legit pulled 2 bombs, 2 saturns, and a stitch in one game.

Almost just as impressive was how well leo maneuvered around it too. Samsora ledge trapping was so clean and he was only even able to pick off a couple stocks offstage

Funny enough Sam is one of the only top players with a losing record (I think) against elegant in ultimate

Honestly (even though didn't necessarily affect outcome), this peach rng is better than Armada's clutch pulls. Sam should do this every match against Leo lol

this set is an excellent example of a skill every competitive Smasher will want to get better at: observing where your opponent is in relation to you and what move(s) they are mostly likely to throw out from that distance + angle

Samsora VS Leo always offers the best example of how unfair it is to go against Joker. Usually MK Leo just has a god forsaken field day out there, but against someone as good as Samsora, it gets much easier to see how often Joker is allowed to punish virtually anything Samsora does with Peach regardless of the decisions Samsora makes. It's like there is never a way to properly defend from Joker here, with Peach the best that can be done is to minimize risk and try to make it all worth it by capitalizing 110% of the time. Otherwise you just get slowly pummeled. If you observe that this isn't playing out fairly in terms of viable attacking/comboing opportunities for each player, the question that is raised is this; Is the main problem that Samsora, with Peach, is failing to produce his opportunities, or is it that there should NOT be enough chances available to Samsora given the balance of this matchup? Just look closely, every single time Samsora takes damage... what's going on? Is he making mistakes? Should he have been more defensive? Deceptive? Aggressive? Just pay attention to the exchanges... Joker is being pampered with offensive opportunities. Peach must work twice as hard. No disrespect to Leo, but on the other hand, how is it not disrespect to ignore that this may be an up-hill battle for Samsora with Peach? Only Megaman, Duckhunt, and like 3 others besides Joker himself can equally contend. All other matchups will leave the opponent robbed of their fair amount of attacking opportunities. Joker should be winning here, essentially

Joker’s recoveries both have their strengths, but they’re both exploitable, especially with peach

Can you punish a normal getup without guessing? Like throwing pika's fsmash? Can you read the animation and THEN punish?

Sam punishing leos slide from the ledge was beautiful

That down air on the first match was heartbreaking

As a Joker main, a ReVeLuv and a Samsora fan, I'm proud of MKLeo win, lose or draw!

Peach's back throw got significantly nerfed in a patch a while ago, and Joker's actually pretty heavy.
