MITCHELL FALLS - The Kimberley by Air & foot.
After spending close to two months exploring The Kimberley, the one thing that we hadn't done is experience it from the sky... and what better place to do it than the Mitchell Falls?
We aren't ones to treat ourselves very often, so we are very excited to have gone all out in this episode to show you this magnificent area from above and below.
In this episode we go on a full day guided tour with Kingfisher Tours which includes a scenic flight, insaneeee helicopter ride over the falls, swimming and an amazing trek.
No joke, this was one of the BEST days of our lives!! We really hope you enjoy coming on this beautifully unique and exciting journey with us.

Karstan & Maxine,you are doing what my wife & I started 50 years ago,we crossed Wyndham to Gibb River before the road was put in, with our first Landrover,carring 250lts of fuel through 2mt high plus spear grass,which was on fire,as our family of 4 started to arrive, each year we would take them to the Kimberley,& everyone of them can relate a story that ocured on our many visits, While our children have family of their own, my wife & I still have not stopped exploring Aus,we are now into our 8th 4x4,your Daughter will have memories for the rest of her life,good luck with the rest of your travels.

What a magic place. Fair walk in carrying Zu, sleep through anything and no whinging, go Zu. Really don't get an idea how rugged the Kimberleys are until you go aerial. You got one zero too many in the rock art age. Very enjoyable vid watching from a cold dismal Melbourne.

Just found you guys , we got rid of our last Van around 11 months ago (had them 20 years ) after our 2nd trip from Sunny Coast to WA . Missing the outback heaps so binged watched all your vids . I’m going to enjoy travelling with you from here without all the stress and biting lures ect , I think you are a great family , we will laugh a lot and I will always have a coldie ready . Yeah we add in bits in some vids but we also plan to do informative vids in the future - just gotta manage it with our 2 year old running around 😉

Curious how all paint completely worn off of the pyramids less than 5000 years old with dates carved in stone, how did you pull a figure of 100,000 years for undated weather exposed rock art that's still visible today?🤔

I know right .. it’s a long time … this art is undercover in a cave .. the University had sent people out to try date the art .. they used dna dating on wasp nests that partially covered one of the paintings and it came in at over 75,000 years old .. and the painting were to be a lot older then them .
