I live in south Mississippi and I hope and pray that the land remains unharmed because we are all connected to it. The beautiful snakes play an important role in the ecosystem. The native Americans cherished the land and they fully knew that it is sacred. We could learn alot from them and should cherish it in the same manner. I love the videos and to see others that love snakes just as much as me makes me smile. Our herp society faded out over 20 years ago so its hard to find others to go hiking and herping with. I love how yall fully respect the animals and their habitat. I wish there was more that I could do to help conservation of our natural environment and the beautiful land that we need and is vital to our better health and well-being. Thank you guys for the passion that us snake lovers share in common. Keep up the great work !

i started watchng your videos during a very tough time, the pandemic in 2020, i had lost 3 family member that year and honestly , i stopped watching them because it reminds me of 2020, but from time to time i still stop by
There is (imho) no better place to herp than the south in the spring. Another banger vid! I could feel the humidity through the screen.

Been living in Mississippi all my life and I’ve never run into a Diamondback. Great find.
What a super haul.❤ Fabulous Kings.
Another great video with lots of snakes! I loved the speckled kings! Awesome job guys!!! 😄💙🐬🐊🐍🫶🏼
Love speckled King Snakes, so underrated King Snake. 🐍 🦎
All those kings! Fantastic finds!
That's a very good couple days. You guys were knocking it out of the park on this trip. Those yellow Speckled Kings were stunning.
Nice job men. Good to see the healthy populations
Love the content. Thank you as always Noah!!
Aye! It's great to see you in my home state of MS. I was born and raised in Jackson and spent a lot of my time in Hattiesburg.
This is so cute 😭 I wanna go herping someday omfg
Been watching your videos for at least two or three years now and I really admire what you are doing in terms of educating about snakes (and other herps). Your videos are well-done and I celebrate with you each time you make a find. But I do have a question. I live in Northern Illinois, and I grew up outside of town in a rural area and never encountered the tin stacks you and your friends seem to find everywhere. So, where does the tin stacks you find come from? And what was the tin used for? Looking forward to your response.

Hey Theodore glad you enjoy the show! Preexisting tin is not evenly distributed, some places (like a lot of the south) have a lot where other regions (like metro Atlanta) trend towards cleaning it up. Parts of southern Illinois still have a good bit of tin, but a lot of the abandoned barns and such got hit hard by scrappers. Other sites are places set up by myself, my friends, or herpers of past generations.

Ditto, Theo!! And great response, Noah!
Jesus, after all that action in Mississippi I dont understand how you were able to leave. I wouldve had to try and stay for a round 2 the next day. But Louisiana was the same way so you obviously know what you're doing. Keep killing it big dog. Catch you up on the flip-side. Richard from Arkansas
That 3rd corn was titanic
You and Kyle are killin it, great work. It was too wet when I was home in limestone County TX, found little. Back down on da bayou waiting to get on the boat Wednesday.
I'm in South MS. Glad you found some good ones here. The weather has been excellent. Been living here since 1970 and have never seen a diamondback.
Awesome video man, I got a dead calligaster the other day DOR literally down the street by my house. Should be any day I find a king now.
Great stuff as alway Noah. Love the content. Keep it up brother.
You guys should dig some depressions under the steel to give the snakes a better place to stay. Some of the steel is too flat. Great stuff guys .Cool footage.
Here we go
I’ve lived in central Mississippi all my life and have never seen a corn or eastern diamondback in the wild.
I always wondered if someone had made this shirt cuz I was debating making one😂 4:57
Hey, I think the correct scientific name for that Gulf Coast toad is Incilius nebulifer. I. valliceps (also known as the Gulf Coast toad) only makes it as far north as Mexico.
"Look at them beans, look at that corn!"
A whole lot of sheddin' goin' on.
A bit of a trivial remark, but our these days our GCTs in the US are considered I. nebulifer-I. valliceps is a Mexican species that annoyingly shares the same common name. P.s.: Can't wait to see the Houston video, especially if y'all decide to hit Fort Bend!
Nice corn snakes, ratsnakes, kingsnakes and mud turtle. Sadly those large corn snake genes aren’t represented in captivity that much nowadays. If ratsnakes and kingsnakes coexist so readily, imagine how much food should be there.

Sweet herpin! You might run into Will Robertson. I believe he is in Louisiana.?
I came across my lifer Mud Snake crossing a road the other day. I avoided him. Made a U turn to go help him out, but it was too late. The next car behind me clipped him. Truly upsetting.
I mean.... I would hoot and howl like a monkey if I flipped a scarlet king so... a whole bunch of nice finds today!
Maybe you said it before. How do you tell the difference of some kingsnakes and milk snakes and what's the difference between corn and rats?
Been watching for a while. Love the channel. Never seen you in south Florida python hunting. Why? Don't kill ANY snake?
@NKFherping

I’ve been down there a few times on the channel but Pythons are low priority. I’ve caught several over the years, but I prefer the native critters.

How do yall find all the spots with tin
Are speckled king snakes legal to have as a pet? I want one so badly
Yo! I live in Louisiana and I can’t find any snakes in the creek that my neighborhood is in. I found 2 garter snakes, 3 copperheads, 2 diamondback or banded water snakes, and 1 cottonmouth by the creek before. After that, nothing! May you give me tips on how tofind snakes?
Can you update the species list and I am asking because copperhead is not on the list.
