Mission Impossible - Caravan Of Garbage
Ойын-сауық
Mission Impossible from 1996 acted as a full reboot to classic series and kick started a new Tom Cruise movie franchise that's still around to this day. The Brian De Palma directed project popularized some series staples such as face masks, big stunts and the evolution of Tom Cruises hair. This is our Caravan Of Garbage review.

my favourite is Rogue Nation! Fallout had a lot of great stuff. But one thing that irked me: Henry Cavill is being talked about as this unstoppable killing machine, but the movie never shows us that, I would've loved a scene where him and Tom Cruise fight each other at full strength and Tom Cruise has to find other ways to defeat him :) also the attraction towards tom cruise from increasingly younger women starts to feel a bit weird XD
@TechnologicallyTechnical

The only thing I don't like about the last 3 films is that they all feel too similar to one another, whereas the first three are completely different in style from one another which made them each stand out and added a certain creative flare to them that they've since lost. Like, I remember more from the first Mission: Impossible film than I do from Rogue Nation. I've forgotten most of what happens in Rogue Nation except for the sniping scene and the underwater card/key switch scene or whatever they were doing.
@christian11111
3 жыл бұрын
You are so right, and I completely agree on Fallout being my favorite but totally understand if others prefer another film in the series. Rogue Nation got me back into the franchise and Fallout made me fall in love with it due to the incredible real stunts. The fact that Tom Cruise climbs, falls, and climbs up the helicopter rope and then climbs into the helicopter (not attached to anything at that moment), all while its traveling hundreds of feet in the air is truly incredible.
Mason Impossible - it was right there the whole time.

The classic 'dangling by a rope from the ceiling' scene was directly inspired by the climax of the 1955 French film "Rififi", which was for decades often credited by film buffs as "the first heist movie". It's actually just one of the first, but that was always Rififi's reputation (or sort of tagline, as it were) in filmmaker circles.
I like how James looks into the camera like he's daring us to doubt him.. "go on, say i cant do it"

Great video, guys! I love this movie and it was probably the first movie I ever went to see multiple times. I was only 15, so was saving up that pocket money for months before it came out. I gotta say though, I think the portrayal of the internet here was not so far from reality. Sure, the visual presentation differs from reality precisely because no-one knew what the internet really looked like (and might have been quite confused that it was often a lot of tiny text on a screen). I was fortunate to have internet at home in 1996 and my own experience of using BBS and Usenet to download pictures of Gillian Anderson was not so dissimilar to this.
