It hurts me so much to know that Amanda's mother passed away while Amanda was being kidnapped by that monster. The fact that Amanda's mother thought she was dead hurts me even more, it's so sad that Amanda's mother couldn't hold her after missing her for so long :(

Operator: "......talk to the police when they get there. We're going to send them AS SOON AS WE GET A CAR OPEN." What the freak?! Are you serious?!!!! That operator needs some serious training on how to talk to victims when they call in. Don't tell her they'll basically get there when they get there. Tell her they are on their way! If that operator can't do better than that she needs to pick a different profession. That's just unacceptable!

@@mbader2399 Well no. I usually have a lot of sympathy for 911 operators, but that guy getting off the phone with her was 100% the WRONG thing to do. You need to stay on the phone with them and get as much information as you can, especially if it's a kidnapping victim. Getting off the phone with her saying "they're on their way" and nothing else is a terrible idea.

From someone who was born and raised in Cleveland. I can assue you EVERYONE knew who Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus. They were on the news ALL the time, especially Amanda. So that 911 operator was completely unprofessional, whether or not he thought it was just a prank call, you stay on the phone with a victim until police arrive on scene.

Michelle, Gina and Amanda are so strong i couldn’t imagine being stuck so close yet so far from safety and with a monster like Castro. Missing out on their families lives for ten years. Sometimes it's so hard for me to relate to other people's ideals of a better world. I'd rather have a world in which crimes like this happen less than a world dominated by revengeful hate against those criminals.

Cant believe the dispatcher said "we will send someone when we have a car available " what besides an armed robbery could be a higher priority than a kidnapped victim who just escaped and is worried the kidnapper will return???
