I remember that scene many years which involved Miss Panama and the host.

The question is actually stupid but its a test of wit & a way to weigh in each contestant's likeability.. Russia was hands down, the total package. Her answer was short but sensible. She did not overthink & did not try to impress anyone. I thought China would be 1st runner up. She's very likeable & adorable.. Venezuela should have been 2nd runner up. South Africa as 3rd. And Panama as 4th runner up. I think Panama went to far and was very lucky to even assume the title after Oxana was dethroned. I would have replaced Panama & Venezuela though with Cyprus & Germany in the top 5. Their beauty is just not my cup of tea..

Agent Germany also competed in miss Venezuela and didn’t make it then went to miss Germany and won

Russia gave a snappy answer. China could have challenged her to the title but she mumbled in the end.

Russia’s final answer, although short, was the most standout and best of the night. She truly deserved the crown not just for her beauty but for her intelligence as well. Reasons why: 1) she said she would blush when she says the wrong things showing her humility whereas almost all the other contestants made it about themselves (I have a lot of pride, am representing my country, when people love/adore me etc.) 2) her answer was to the point and authentic. She was not trying to impress anyone whereas others just overthought and tried to come up with an answer to appease the crowd and judges 3) presentation. her cute “blush” before answering the question, her charming demeanor and her angelic voice. This answer reminded me of miss universe 1997 even though they have different personalities.

Correcto, una respuesta con humildad, natural y espontánea que captó la atención de la gente y los hizo reír. Las otras muy vanidosas, muy pensadas y adornadas las respuestas y no lograron ese clic con el público.

Miss Russia gave one of the best answers on history of Miss Universe. Short but meaningful. Unfortunately, she was dethroned.

If China just ended by saying right now, that question made me blush, she may have finished as the first runner up, but she rambled on and that sealed her second runner up fate.

The official languages in South Africa are English and Afrikkans! Most schools teach in English, hence her ability to speak fluently in English!

Not true. While you could argue Venezuela’s answer sounded complete, Russia’s answer truly showcased her humility. She didn’t make this question about herself, rather pointed out that she would blush when she says wrong things. Her innocence, sincerity, spontaneity and charisma won her the crown even if you take this only question into consideration.

No entiendo cómo Panama fue virreina si respondió Tan mal su pregunta final, ah ya se xq Trump quería que al año siguiente fuese en Panama el MU! 😎
