I am 60 now, my father used to sing this Ghazal when ever he used to be in good mood on weekends. It is just mesmerising. When ever I visit New Delhi I 100% make sure to find out time to visit Ghalib Sahab' s grave in Hazrath Nizamuddin locality.

Exactly, no one can match this, he himself coudn't beat it again.

I was 7 in 1988..and my family enjoyed this serial continuously n regularly...on doordarshan.....since than...it was in mind n memory in chilhood...but after the failure of first love n cheating by close ones....mirza ji is now in every inch of the body...every emotion n in the soul.....dili salam to the doordarshan of 1988 which produced this n naseer bhai..tribute from the city of fez n iqbal....sialkot punjab pakistan

Three things: Mirza Ghalib is irreplaceable. Jaglit Singh has made Mirza Ghalib complete. Ghalib's Ghazal and Jagit ji's singing wash away the dust from everyday life

It was 18th year of my life when she urged me to listen ghazals and it was one of recommend ghazals. Now decades have been passed and I am still listening to this ghazal.. I don't know where she is now but.....

Pardon my ignorance about Ghazals but this song really takes you to a different level. I feel pity for today's music composers and crappy singers. Jagjit singh ji was a ghazal maestro.

I HV tears in my eyes I don't know why .... But this ghazal is connected with my Dad once he said to me this line khak ho jae ge hum tum khaber hony tk , it's killing me . I have no words how to explain my inner feelings if heart but I am broken . May his soul rest in Jannat ul firdos Ameen 😞

@@mohitraj6889 this is Urdu, called Rekhta in the time of Ghalib. Ghalib did say in his own words that he wrote his best poetry in Persian but it wasn't appreciated much in his lifetime.

If you haven't seen this great TV series ",Mirza Ghalib " you saw nothing , it's a gem of creation by Great gulzar sahab , Feel the perfection when great legends like gulzar sahab + Jagjit sahab + Naseeruddin sahab work together ...👍👍 it's one of the greatest TV series ever made .. My salute to Gulzar sahab &Jagjit sahab..🙏

I am 51 born & raised in England and Germany & remember these ghazals when i was young but only came understanding them when I grew up after I broke up with my Turkish German girlfriend in Berlin who I had a live-in relationship with from 95-98. We split up because I had to come back to England to work in the petrol stations my family were running & I came to save up so we could open our own healing centre but when i went back after 2 or 3 months she had another guy! I waited 18 years then returned back to England after 3 relationships!

Dedicated this gazal to a person in my law school days. She is not with me anymore. still sounds fresh ❤️

@@Valogisb True love asks for patience but this desire and longing and search is making me restless. How should my heart remain, until I am consumed by this suffering? What color should I paint my heart with till it dies with in the agony of love? What should be the mood/temperament of my heart until you destroy it with your whims and indifference? What kind of emotion should it wear until it is killed? The poet says he know love demands patience but what should he tell his heart until it is ruthlessly broken by the beloved.

Naseerudin was born to play this role amazing

Nasir nahi, gulzar nahi,Jagjit nahi,jisne Ghalib se Muhabbat kya woh MOHTARAM ho gaya...

Mirza ghalib or Allama iqbal jaisy poet hazaron saal main aik br paida hoty hain bs .. no substitute no replacement ..

same impact as it was in 1994,,, Magnificent and magical forever....

Listening this for almost 5years, but still unable to understand it's Ghalib, Jagit or Naseeruddin who touch the string of my heart. Awesome these guys are one and only.

In 1988 I saw serial on door darshan. Now at present I am about 72.for the last three years I have enjoyed at 70-75 times. Every time I found it new.

love to read ghalib poetry, woh asar, woh wazan aur woh lafazi jo ghalib k shairon maen milti hay kahen nai milti, i wonder that how good would be his persian poetry...i wish i could understand person which is a very sweet and complete language.
