For all those who call it a Ghazal...guys this is not a Ghazal...This is a Nazm...the difference is that in a nazm, the lines never repeat...same meaning is conveyed throughout the poetry but with different words without repeating..

Raj kiran completely adopted the Jagjit Singh's Gazal in his lips and expression. Intense realistic pain in the eyes of Shabana. Kulbhushan kharbanda is looking hot and enjoying the moment with his GF. Late Smita Patil performance was awesome as a love seeker, benevolent, pyscopath. A pure Classic, Look at Camera work, movement , skills. One of few rare songs where scenic location of Europe were skipped , completely inside a hall. Only Genious Mahesh Bhatt could made this possible.

I think Kaifo Azami must have suffered a heart break, he wrote all songs like these. I heard he was in love with a very beautiful girl in his young days, but it was only one sided love, and the girl married someone else and

My dad was A big fan of jagjit sir.My dad bought a cd player 20 years back and heard all his ghazals and i learnt about these ghazals and hear it until now.A treasure passed down by my dad though he passed away in 2009.

It's raining outside and deep inside I'm lonely listening to this masterpiece thinking about this selfish world. We are alone even in the crowd.

Funnily enough , in all the movies he did..he came across as mediocre . The gharelu movies with him playing the older brother with a nagging wife. Maybe he just didnt get the right roles.

Sung this song for my gf, back in 2010. She was literally crying because her ex boyfriend got married and she was in pain. I was her hope but she was stuck in his memories. Later she told me all this. Now she is happily married. Remembering her and that time after 12 years. ❤ never dies, it stops living only.

I have been a fan of Jagit since around the time I was just out of college in 1986...! Have attended his concert almost more than 30 times. There is not a ghazal singer who could swoon a modern crowd and also incorporate classical music and tones like him. He was way ahead of his time. Chitraji was like the icing on the cake, with her voice. I would rate her along with Lata Mangeshkar with her voice quality and timbre. If you don't believe me, listen to her vintage voice in any of her older ghazals or nazms... including " dil ko gham-e-hayat" and you will come to know about her caliber..! The fact that she stopped singing after her son passed away, was the biggest blow to ghazals and music. Her song |"Mitti da bawa" still brings out goosebumps everytime I listen to it...!!! Such talent is always treasured and I bow down to her prowess...! 2019 or 2045.. I don't care... Jagjit and Chitraji are going to live forever in our hearts!!!!

Shabana ji and Kulbhushan jis raw acting in Arth and the movie itself is still nothing short of a masterpiece. They are both seen together very shortly in JP Duttas Umrao Jaan remake when she comes to take Umrao to Sheesh Mahal and you would never tell that almost 40 years ago now they created such heart wrenching drama together. Itne dard bhare alphaaz aur Jagjit ji ki dard bhari awaaz mein ye ghazal sunkar, mann bhar hi aata hai aur Aankhon se aansoo chalak hi aate hain! Itne dinon ke baad phir se ye ghazal sunkar ,poorei scene ke saath, purani yaadon ko taaja kar diya, bahut hi piyaara video dikhaya uske liye Aapka bahut bahut shukriya !
