TGC just added a new box and deck - The Mint Tin Box and a new special Mint Tin Deck with rounded corners.Here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lHeIytazedfVmLw.html I did a bit of testing on the website and it turns out that you can put a maximum of 63 Mint Tin cards into their Mint Tin Box. 63 also was the upper limit for the Mini deck as well. Caveat: I tried the Micro deck, which should have fit 126, but even a single Micro Card came up with an error saying it wouldn't fit so the different deck sizes may not have been properly calibrated yet for the new Mint Tin Box type.

Thanks for video! I have two questions: - what about the rules sheet, it should be 1 page. Can it be folded inside and how many cards space does it "cost"? - Can we put the stickers inside the tin, above and below? Thanks!

I like the out-of-the-box (tin) thinking, CRV CRT! I can’t imagine why you can’t have stickers on the inside of the tin, you would just need to make sure you order enough. :) As for the rule sheet, I think the intent is for the rules to be no longer than piece of paper, but that it does not physically need to fit inside. I would scrounge around for that answer though! Good luck!

I'm assuming now that an Altoid box is the same as the ones we get from TGC?

Hi, 1,000 Year Beard! I compared the sizes last night through Google and I believe the TGC Mint tin may be 1mm smaller than an Altoids tin; If you are looking to prototype, they will serve you very well. :D www.thegamecrafter.com/parts/mint-tin www.adafruit.com/product/97

I will note that TGC recently upgraded the thickness of cards, so you may want to take these numbers with a grain of salt.

That is a great note, Ethan! Designers would do well to try and limit the number of cards they have in their games to 54 (so they can also fit a couple baubles on top). 👍🏽

If it helps, I managed to get 96 cards (and dice) into a tin for my Minty's Bootiful Football Game a few years back for a mint tin design competition... They were half-size square cards (40mmx40mm I think) on 160gsm card stock... 👍 boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/241748/mintys-bootiful-football-game
