I recently purchased the beautiful Capucines bb in black. If I am going to pay over 5 thousand dollars for a bag it has to at least hold all my essentials. The bb size is perfect to me. I also looked at the mini. It was cute but way to small. My phone can not fit in the bag and besides it’s not a good look to overstuff a classy bag like the Capucines.

Yes Diana, finding the right size for you is paramount when the bags cost this much! The capucines is a total classic style I love them

I tried the mini on, but it was too small for me. I prefer the BB 😊

I could only afford to get one Capucine last year and got the BB because it’s the perfect size for work, so I knew I’d get the most use out it.

They are both so beautiful and I would certainly have a hard time deciding between the two! I prefer the thinner strap on the BB, so that would probably tip the decision for me ❤️

Great video! I am dying for a mini for an evening bag but was just in the boutique and my phone would not fit. I was sooooo disappointed. I am going to have to try without the case. I didn’t think to try! You have given me hope for my mini! ❤️

I got a mini tennessee yesterday. I walked to a store to see and as you said the mini is light weight and have a firmer structure. I think the leather of capucines is very thick, will be very heavy if I take a bag BB for shopping or hand out with friends. There is no color for me to get the BB at that store, so I will wait a bit for the right color. But I think I will get a BB size also just in case I would like to take more stuffs with me. Overall I think mini size is still the best one ✌️

I've always wondered what fits inside the mini. Thanks for sharing!

The BB is a great day time sized bag. The mini is lovely but that strap is too heavy looking for such a small bag. I wish they did the chain with the leather plaited through. Anyway, I reckon both are needed. 😆

You have such a lovely sense of style! I love both sizes but definitely prefer the mini. I like the wide strap!

Your red Capucines is gorgeous. I’m glad you’re keeping it. I would love to own a mini Capucines in the future, one with thinner and hopefully chain strap and with hooks on the sides of the bag. I would love the same red color.

IMO the mini is adorable but BB is most practical. Anything bigger I find it too heavy. I finally gave in and got the scarlet mini. Hopefully, I can add the black bb soon but I hope LV would put the hooks on the side of the bag instead. This would make it a lot easier to put on the straps.

Starting in 2022, I believe all new Capucines collections (except exotics) already had strap hooks on the side of the bag. I bought the rose gold (BB) one and have had no problems strapping it on.

i need my water bottle with me everywhere i go. the bb seems perfect. the mini reminds me of the small lady dior i got which is collecting dust in the corner of my room, its so small it can barely fit anything

I have to say that there's no way that I'd buy a bag that you need to take the cover off your phone to use - the Pro Maxes are around 1/3 price of the bag! I know the trend is very much towards mini bags, but I prefer crossbody bags that I can easily fit my phone in its case in. They are beautiful bags though x

The all leather mini cost me $6,100 USD last month. Hard to stomach that, but it is so adorable. I use it for evenings out. I do have to take my phone out of its case to get it to fit.

I have seen some videos show that when you put the flap on top there is a magnet that holds it from the outside, is that true?

Hello Stef, I love your videos! I ended up getting 4 minis but thinking of exchanging the most recent one with a bb- I’m limited with just the bare essentials with the mini. Can you add a small water bottle and an umbrella in bb? Can you carry significantly more compared to a mini? I do love mini in that you can carry it and a backpack (I’m a mummy) if you have to carry a lot more, would love to get your thoughts! TIA ❤

Hey! I don’t have my BB anymore but umbrella I don’t think so, maybe a small bottle of water. Yes I would say the size difference is quite big. Mini is very restricting

Hello! You’re so helpful and informative when it comes to people who are new to the designer handbag world. I would like to know if you can do a video talking about Louis Vuitton bags specifically the new ones versus the old ones. I ask because I went into the Louis Vuitton store the other day looking for an on the go tote that I saw on their website which had the monogram canvas on the long straps but the woman brought me one with black straps. When I questioned her about why the straps were different she told me that the other one I’m asking for was old and they no longer carry it. This happened with many other bags in the store and it seems like they make small differences to the handbags then send the newer models to the stores and don’t always update the website. So now I am confused about what to buy. Lol, if you want the latest bag I guess you’ll just have to go into the store to get it because if you try to purchase what they have online it will most likely be an older model.

@@Handbagholic I'm going to buy one in Lillle on Thursday for my GF's birthday @ 5300€ because with the current exchange rate that's £4532, then you get the 20% VAT back when you got to the tunnel which is another £900 off, meaning £3600 total cost - a bargain by comparison!
